    Dear Max.Shorty has just ridden Al Ferof for his old boss at Ascot and won!Faugheen next!The New One did really well he could teach his friend and neighbour a thing or 2.I can’t find out anything about Kind or last year’s foal.Morpheus has gone to the Tally-Ho stud so she has 4 sons at stud now.A wonderful mare like Zenyatta ,Ouija Board,Urban Sea,Black Caviar and so many others.I am waiting for Snow Fairy’s first foal next year.
    Did you hear about James Doyle and William Buick joining Godolphin?Doyle didn’t last very long with Juddmonte did he?Faugheen is just about to race.Moosie’s love Annie won this race last year..They are taking it easy on heavy ground.Oh this horse is all class a great win!The Moose is free!Sheena.

      Seems so long ago. Very sad days for us. The only one left of that charismatic little family is Caroline. Yes, Sandy, he was a grat man. One always wonders how different our country would have been had he lived and served his term. RIP President Kennedy.

    Coz looks just awesome — so much like his momma. I can imagine all hopes riding high — no pun intended :-) I have every hope that this boy does well when he enters his racing career, but you know, if it doesn’t come as easily as it did to his mom, we will all still love him, and root for him. I just have a feeling he and his brother will make their momma proud. :-)

    November 22 Cherokee Devotional

    We fight feverishly for equality and freedom to do something that in the long run serves little purpose. In other times, we bargain with everything precious without the slightest knowledge about what it is costing. We feel like birds in a cage with only inches of space to fly. It is exciting to look out at the wild birds on wing and think how much we would love to spread our wings. And yet, a bird on the wing has no protection, no loving care, no regular feeding. And then we stand on the edge and look in a window and wish someone cared for us. If only there were someone like that for us to lean on. We are out in the cold-but free. The very things that pin our wings also help us to grow, a dv hi, and with wisdom we learn how to fly, ga no hi li.

    Dear Kathy.Did you have a sleep-in.I know I did!!! I often think of birds who always sing at the start of the day never knowing what lies ahead.We will always remember this day.
    A great racing day here Silviniaco won the Betfair for Paul and Faugheen just oozed class at Ascot!The Martians are rising!His fans are devastated.I will never forget the little rat who brought such joy to this world.Sarah is very,very sad.I do hope they will find it in their hearts to get another little ratty one day!We will all have to turtle-turtle especially Mondays!!Mango was flat out last night and Abby seems to have got hold of the ipaw again!At least Judy has sold the house,all over bar the signing.She will need the money after all of Abby’s shopping!Zoe is getting ready for Thanksgiving she has wonderful parents.Max and Mia looked cute in their sweaters!It’s cold in Florida yikes!

    Dear Sheena,

    I did get to sleep in a little bit. The “kids” were up at the crack of dawn like they always are. So I fed them but then went back to bed for a while. I have to work today so I’m on the run now. Congratulations to all the winners in your races. I’m devastated about Marty as well. To start with I wasn’t that big of a fan but I have to say he really drew me in! I hope Sarah will eventually adopt another rat. No rat would ever take Marty’s place, but Sarah would learn to love another rat for his/her own merits. Amen to turtle-turtles! Mango did look exhausted. What a sweet little doggy! Glad they sold the house. Zoe is such a doll. Her parents have to be very special people. Max and Mia are fashion plates. Their mom must get up awfully early to be able to dress 5 dogs! Hope they all stay toasty. The pics of Joey are bittersweet. Love seeing him, but then am so sad he’s no longer with us.     Oh Coz – you are so grown up (not to mention beautiful)!!! So nice of John to provide the pictures and Team Z to share with all of us. A real bright spot in a dismal week (weather wise, anyhow) here in the east. Can’t wait to see your first race – win or not, it will be fantastic to watch you on the track! Your mom must be SO proud – hope she has seen some recent video :-)

      According to Darley America website, Bernie is 16.1 1/2 HH. Coz is therefore slightly taller at 16.2. When I checked, I noticed again how handsome Bernie is. Very impressive guy. Won the Travers and sired two Travers winners. Only Man O’ War did that too.

    Undefeated Ocho Ocho Ocho, one of several Southern California shippers in the field, outfought Mr. Z through the drive to capture the $1 million Delta Downs Jackpot (gr. III) by a nose at Delta Downs Racetrack, Casino, and Hotel Nov. 22 (VIDEO).
    A stewards’ inquiry and jockey objection from Corey Lanerie aboard third-place finisher Far Right against the winner for an incident on the final turn was disallowed. The ruling secured Ocho Ocho Ocho’s third victory in as many starts for trainer Jim Cassidy and owner D P Racing in the colt’s first try over a route of ground.

    The Gorgeous Night Prowler son of Giants Causeway is training hard now at Palm Meadows. I believe he will probably have a race soon in South Florida. Sounds like some really good two year olds coming along.

    Wise Dan, I sure wish you would get Horse of the Year again. I believe the Vox Populi voting starts right after Thanksgiving. Dan I am sure voting for you.
    Are we going to hear about you heading to the farm soon. I hope you get some good rest and I am hoping the winter is not too brutal there. Stay warm. Love You.

    Coz is stunning! He’s getting so big. I think he’s now taller than his dad and he’s still growing.

    Heard Art Sherman on an interview earlier on TVG say that California Chrome would have a workout early this Sunday morning on the Turf and it will determine if he goes on the turf next week or not. He said he would make his decision after this workout.
    He could be facing Lexie Lou. Wouldn’t that be something to see.
