    What a beautiful boy!! Thanks for the update and photos!!

    Thanks to all who expressed sympathy for the loss of my best friend (for 36 years!!). She was the daughter of the great jazz and pop singer,Peggy Lee. For those who would like to know more about her,the Hollywood Reported did a great piece on her this week. You can get it at hollywoodreporter.com. Just put Death of Nicki Lee Foster in the search bar at the top and it will come up.

    I read and loved each and every one of the James Herriot books–and the TV series. Like most of the good things on PBS, I think it ran on the BBC first,then made it’s way over here.Haven’t made it to Yorkshire yet,in my two visits to Britain, but would like to if I get to go again. I still need to do Cornwall and the Lake District too–maybe when the lottery comes and I get a group of us together to go visit Hovis!!!

    I so loved getting to see so many Zsters at the BC. Though we were all grieving for Z Princess, it was still wonderful to be together and to be able to take flowers to Zenny’s statue. Somehow,it felt better to be able to do SOMETHING for her, even just that.It was glorious to see Chrome run so beautifully and to get to meet the Coburns, who are delightful! All in all, a great adventure.

    Barnaby and Traveller are getting ready to move south to River Sage Stables again–they will go the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Have already made arrangements for his extra deep bed (for Traveller too), so he will once again have what I call his “horsey Temperpedic”. He has been doing the cutest thing lately. Their summer bedding has pretty much been trampled down to nothing,so,he has been saving part of the hay we put in the shelters for their evening meals,to shove around and make a soft bed for himself. Talk about a smart boy–he says,” I’d rather sleep on it than eat it!!” He will be so happy to see his new bed when he goes south!!

      Dear Sue, so sorry for your loss, just read about it, may her beautiful soul rest in Perfect Peace. May you be comforted with the memories you two shared. May the good Lord comfort you at this time as he alone knows how. It is well . Have a Blessed weekend.

      A safe trip is wished Barnaby and Traveller, now, who’s the smart one. Too cute. I wish I was that smart, too funny. Glad they would be having fun at their new place especially enjoying their ‘Horsey Temperpedic”!. Peace.

      sue-Sorry to hear about your friend. I always thought Peggy Lee was not given her due as an actress. One only need to see Pete Kelly’s Blues to know what I mean.

      Please let me add my condolences for the loss of your beautiful friend. If she was anything like her mom, she was smart, witty, down to earth and true. I loved Peggy Lee from her first song to her last. So unique, so compelling a performer–so versatile. She wrote the music for The Lady and the Tramp and it was brilliant. I’m sorry, Sue.

    Wonderful pictures of Coz!!! He has become quite the looker… and he sure looks good on the track! 16.2 is a good height to be… I owned a filly several years ago that was 16.2 hands. She was TALL. (At least I thought she was until I met Zenyatta in person.) That filly took advantage of her height. She’d never let me halter her, but instead would raise her head so high nobody could reach it every time we came by with her halter in hand.

    I cannot wait to see Coz race!! (Ziconic, too, but not for awhile yet.)

    It’s so good to see Coz “lookin” soooo good. He’s big and will grow more…just might get closer in size to Momma Z before too long. Anxious to see him race but have faith that John will know when he’s ready. John’s photos are great.
    Love you Cozmic One and have since day one. Love to Ziconic and of course, Zenyatta. Kisses on all your soft noses.

    Oh, my heart could just burst into a million pieces because of my first love Coz, oh how I love you so, from the very moment I set eyes on you, you had my heart. How you have grown so handsome and breaths takingly big and strong and dark and so like your mama the Queen of Z nation. Thank you Team Z and Lanesend for making my day brighter.!

    To all my Z nation family, you guys are the best, and whenever my day is going horribly off kilter, I come here to read all your posts and get cheered up. I do love you all, your the best and wouldn’t trade you for a million dollars.

    He is just absolutely gorgeous!? A real beauty!!! Thanks so much for the updates! Hope John is able to get him into a race before the end of the year…just so we don’t have to deal with the “Apollo curse” on the Derby Trail next year!! LOL

    I can’t believe that the magnificent boy in these new pictures is the little foal who could trot under his Mommy’s tummy when he was a baby. Coz just gleams like the diamond he is, doesn’t he? Zenny must be so proud of her first-born son! I hope we get some new pictures of Son #2, Ziconic, pretty soon! I want to know how Zi likes his training and if gotten even more humongous than he was in his last set of pictures.

    Thank you for the pictures and news about Coz. Just what we needed.
    He sure is a big handsome horse. Our little boy is all grown up. Judging by the coats the guys are wearing he was still at Belmont when these pictures were taken. Hope he has made his way to sunny California by now. As so many of you all have said, I am delighted he is with John who will take good care of him and not rush into anything.

    Wow!!! What a gorgeous youngster! Every inch of him looks just perfect. Thank you for the wonderful pictures. I do love his rich color, too, and couldn’t miss his momma’s polka dots that Ann commented on when he was first born. Remembering watching him dash about in the paddock with Zenny chasing after him and him squeeling with delight in himself. Precious boy!

    He must be growing at an incredible rate… No wonder they are taking their time with him. Let those leg bones develop and give time to get coordinated. Hope they have someone on him doing some dressage or leg work to help him get balanced. Thanks for the update! Any word on who the Queen will be ‘dating’ this spring?

      You expressed it just right–no matter what, we will love him. And wow–is he handsome! I see much Zenyatta in him. The one photo above where he is being ridden on track makes me think of the Black Beauty movies. He could easily be a star.

    Coz seems to be coming into his own now. What a beauty! I hope we’ll get to see him race this fall. With two parents both champions, he’ll be bringing a lot to the track. He looks like Z, but he looks like Bernardini, too.
