Amen, Sally B.
I just wish they would vaporize/disappear/vanish, be swallowed up. They are truly consumed by hate. I dislike feeling this way, but they are wicked, and there is no health in them.
Prayers and sympathy for those in Paris who are injured and for those murdered and their families. Prayers for the citizens of France.

I did not wish to go to the barn and work alone on Friday the 13! but I did. Once with the horses and goats my mind was off of it. The only sudden scare was when I went up stairs to the feed bag storage room ,was moving a bag of feed when a small mouse ran out across the table. Any size does it for me!
While I was grooming Fancy apparently Blackie, the goat, decided to climb into our large green metal hay feeder, because that is where I found him. I scolded him for sure. Don’t need his droppings in the hay! This is the first time I have ever seen this. (It did look funny, had to laugh to myself)
Have a great week end!

November 14 Cherokee Devotional
Having a career agenda is nothing without a spiritual agenda to back it up. Good plans and good intentions are a part of getting ahead, but it’s not so different from whipping up a cake and finding there’s no oven to bake it in.
We are not one dimension, or two-we are three dimensions: body, mind and spirit. Only a very foolish person believes you can develop one part and ignore the others. Balance is important-perfect balance. It is the only way we do anything, because without it we fall flat on our faces. So why plan on the sky being the limit when there’s no idea what the Spirit is. Cool and suave it isn’t, solid as gold it is.
When we look into the history of our race, we see some green spots that are pleasing to us. We also find many things to make the heart sad.

Dear Kathy, A wonderful moment happened when I started my study this morning, and it began with John 14 verse 16. “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with your forever – The Spirit of truth.” And I read your devotional for today, and it spoke a parallel message. Just love when things like that happen. Thanks so much for your posts. with love, Elizabeth

Dear Kathy.Such sad news from Paris last night 127 dead so far.Of course we had Lockerbie in 1988.There was a minute’s silence at Cheltenham and the jockey’s are wearing black armbands. As you know we have a huge migrant crisis in Europe at the moment, there must be terrorists sneaking in.There are no words to describe these “people”Our loony left wing Labour leader even said ii would have been better if Jihadi John had been arrested!!!!To think this man could become Prime Minister.
Life goes on and the rain is back heavy going at Cheltenham can never imagine Sprinter running tomorrow. Some tired horses.I stayed up until 2.30am watching the news.Children in need raised a record £37 million last night.Annacotty has just won the Paddy Power beating the big boys!!

Oakhurst Thoroughbreds will stand 2005 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Giacomo for 2016-18 as part of the Stronach family’s efforts to boost breeding and racing in Oregon. I am not sure if Mr. and Mrs. Moss are still part owners or not. As spring time approaches am getting excited about Zenyatta having a War Front foal. I’m hoping for a filly, but will be happy with a healthy, little one. A kiss to your soft nose, Zenny.

November 15 Cherokee Devotional
Walking in a garden is little different from walking into a room full of people. Color, shape, size, all play a part-and the more varied, the greater the interest.
Only a few dominate the garden, and they are not always the prettiest. Some are herbs and serve as good medicine, while others stand in pretty little groups and dance in the breezes.
Each of us is a part of the garden. Do we add or detract? Are we fragrant and do we require sunlight or can we survive in the shade? Do we need constant attention or are we perennial-faithful to our place and doing our best to bloom?
Two branches of the ancient Cherokee family…it has become essential to the general welfare that a union should be formed.

Sprinter got the most tremendous reception entering the winner’s enclosure.!This horse needed to win to prove the doubter’s wrong and he did it in style.Very emotional.Very surprised Faugheen got beaten though. Will have to rethink the Champion Hurdle next march.Hugs Sheena

Dear Sheena,
So glad Sprinter won and the crowd went mad for him; maybe he is back to his old for, sorry for Faugheen and surprised. Maybe T McCoy does not have a new career
in dressage, but sure bet it was fun watching him, he is so good for racing.
Best of luck to Anne Power; so amazing a mare can be so good and tough
at jumps.
Love and hugs

Just watched the video of the night of terror in Paris, horrible.
All of those terrorists coming over from other countries shooting
and setting off bombs and themselves in bomb vests- truely an act of war
like our twin towers !!!!

Happy Sunday Zsters☺
Today’s devo:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10)
When I am anxious about some risky new venture or meeting, I battle unbelief with one of my most often-used promises: Isaiah 41:10.
The day I left for three years in Germany, my father called me long distance and gave me this promise on the telephone. For three years, I must have quoted it to myself five hundred times to get me through periods of tremendous stress.
When the motor of my mind is in neutral, the hum of the gears is the sound of Isaiah 41:10.
When I am anxious about my ministry being useless and empty, I fight unbelief with the promise of Isaiah 55:11. “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
When I am anxious about being too weak to do my work, I battle unbelief with the promise of Christ, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
When I am anxious about decisions I have to make about the future, I battle unbelief with the promise, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8).
When I am anxious about facing opponents, I battle unbelief with the promise, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
When I am anxious about the welfare of those I love, I battle unbelief with the promise that if I, being evil, know how to give good things to my children, how much more will the “Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7:11)?
