Happy Wednesday!

November has been quite the month for Team Z. We’ve been busy finalizing the Celebration results, stuffing envelopes, and planning a product launch for the Shop just in time for the holidays (hint, hint).

We’re proud to announce that the first ever Zenyatta.com Celebration raised over $10,000 for Thoroughbred Rehab Center, Inc. We couldn’t be happier with Zenyatta’s fans that contributed by purchasing the event’s signature Celebration Sticker or by bidding in our online auction. All of the stickers were mailed yesterday, and auction items will be shipped by end of the week. Look for yours soon!

As we previously mentioned, we decided to pick five winners for our Grand Prize, An Invitation to Meet Zenyatta. A complete list of winners is below.

Our next post will be all about Coz, with photos and video from our trip to Mayberry Farm.

    How was Z about having Ann touch her belly. Some mares get really grouchy about people messing with the baby.

    I’m guessing that this next year will be Z’s year off. I’m thinking she’ll have her baby mid Apr (but hay I’ve been wrong the last two times so who knows!)so that means a mid May cover and another baby due mid Apr 2015. Not sure Coz I’m definitely not on the inside but I wonder if this is her year off.

      Margaret…it isn’t in Zenny’s nature to be upset over her humans touching her. She is all about love…especially when it comes to Ann. They really are soul mates.

    There will never be another like Zenyatta!!! She can warm your heart just looking at her sweet face and eyes….and got to love those famous ears. It is nice to see Ann with Z every time. Happy Thanksgiving to Ann, Jerry, and all Team Zenyatta.

    Wow, congratulations to all the winners, and especially those who won the visits……wow are you going to be in dreamland. Hope you take pictures and/or videos to share with your not-so-fortunate friends here.

    Always good to see Ann and Jerry visit Zenny, she’s getting quite the tummy already, but having babies seems to agree with her she looks so happy. Thanks again to the Mosses and Team Z for your hard work on the Z Celebration, we are so appreciative of all that you do.

    Would just like to add Congratulations to the fabulous Royal Delta on her retirement, hope she has lots of lovely babies.

    Can’t wait for the next post all about CoZ, just love that boy.

      Alex, I just visited with Zenny the day after Ann and Jerry were there and sorry to say we are not allowed to post any pictures anywhere at the request of Lane’s End.I certainly would if I could.

    Please, please, can we get a video of our little red prince (not so little now) playing in the field? By now, we had a couple of Coz; we want to see how Red is growing up.
    Dare I hope, that that long awaited video of Zenyatta’s career, might be a surprise for the holiday? I hope so, please!!!!

      Kathy, I just visited Zenny Nov. 7 and am sorry to say we cannot post any pictures or videos anywhere per request of Lane’s End. Those are the rules or I would do so.

    Congrats to all the winnbers…especially those who get to hold audience with our beloved Queen!. Ann and Zenny are so awesome together…talk about soul mates, they are the true definition of the term. Following our first prince, Coz, is going to be exciting. Thank you so much for continuing to share Zenyatta with those of us who love her from all distances. It is hard to explain how much she means to me, but I know there are many on this site who completely understand. I love the look on her face as she watches that peppermint being unwrapped – priceless.

    I am truly thrilled for all the winners. Since my name is not amongst them, I am certainly pea-green with envy!!

    Mrs. Moss, you and Zenyatta really have a rapport!! You are both beautiful, inside and out!!!!

    Hi there Zen family!

    Zenny — you look just wonderful and I’m so glad to find a new post. I get pretty “ant zee” when it feels like a long time between posts because I love to see you and the boys, and hear what’s up with everyone. So it will be fun to catch up with Coz in the next post.

    Congratulations to all the winners! How exciting that five will be meeting Zenny. ‘Trying not to get too envious here…..

    Nothing much to report from Montreal, which is starting to get colder. I’m not complaining: the Prairies got tons of snow a few days back and I’m sure not feeling ready for the white just yet. Daisy aka The Doodlebug, on the other hand, is feeling VERY FRISKY. She’s most definitely a Winter Girl!

    In horse news, I was not too surprised by Royal Delta’s retirement, but was heartbroken by the loss of hurdler Sanctuaire and the news that Black Caviar’s half-brother, Jimmy, had contacted laminitis. In this last case, though, there was news today that he’s stable and comfortable. The vets will slowly start withdrawing the meds to see how he reacts and it remains unclear as to whether or not he’ll ever race…..

      Thanks for the update on Jimmy — sure hope and pray that he will improve and be strong enough to overcome this challenge.
      I am definitely with Daisy, the Doodlebug, when it comes to cool/cold weather! I am a winter baby, and I love snow (in moderation, of course) . No more than a foot maximum at a time, suits me just fine! I know I am probably in the minority here, I usually am, but what do you expect from a warm-blooded February child?

    Adding to the earlier news that Royal Delta has been retired. They have just announced that she will be bred to Galileo.
