Happy Monday!
Check out these new photos from Alys—we think they’re something special! We hope you’re all staying warm through this especially chilly weather. Zenyatta has the folks at Lane’s End watching out for her during the cold winter months, but that doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy frolicking in a blizzard or two!
Enjoy!

February 3 Cherokee Devotional
These are no longer ordinary times, and many circumstances we thought would never change, are changing. The innocent times, the good natured humor of life has been covered over with suggestive jokes empty of meaning. The ground is shifting under our feet and we are having to learn to walk a new way. Few things are permanent. We are born of change, but we still have to keep a commonsense attitude or we can lose our footing. We need to prove, long before we accept something as fact, that it is true. If it is right, it can be proved. Much is a mystery to us. But to the Tsilagi-Cherokee-silence is golden. We speak little and listen long. Words are important in songs and in ceremonies-and in general conversation as well. It is wise to save words and use them only when they can be effective.
Good words do not last long until they amount to something.

Dear Kathy These men should have been Presidents or Prime Ministers,we would be living in a wiser and happier World.Love Boo in his pink? and Shades!!Only he could get away dressed in that colour. Seems our furbabies enjoyed the Kitten and Puppy bowls. The live streaming will begin on the Dyfi when the ospreys return, there was drama last year when Monty’s usual partner Nora didn’t return and the females were fighting for his attention,Glesni (who in fact is Nora’s neice)) won in the end it was handbags at dawn! they were very late producing chicks but had 2 girls Clarach and Cerist. We can only pray they made the safe journey to Africa.Have a great Monday Hugs to You, Kisses for the Puppy pack.Sheena

Dear Sheena,
I agree, the Native Americans show a lot more intelligence than what we see in our present day politicians. Boo is handsome no matter what, even in Hot Pink! Seems all is well with the FB furbabies. Jack O looks very sleepy, however. He needs a nap, I think. I’ll look forward to the ospreys. I hope you have a good Monday. Hugs from me, kisses from The Pack. Kathy

Bonjour Zenyatta!
Wow!
What does it feel like to experience the snow flakes on your face and back as compared to California weather?
Hope you didn’t fall. That concerns me.
Thank you!
