Happy Wednesday!
Last month we spent a morning with John Shirreffs and his crew at Belmont Park. We tagged along to watch Coz and Ziconic gallop and work on morning lessons. After bath time and treats from us the brothers even posed for a photo together. Scroll down to the bottom of the post for videos.
Enjoy!

Wow, these pictures and videos are fabulous!! Coz and Zi are so different, but they’re both so handsome. I can’t believe how big Coz is! He looks so much like his mom. Zi is so stocky and, dare I say, sexy with his long blonde bangs. I’m sure he has the attention of all the fillies in the barn! Thank you so very much for sharing this, Team Z. You’re the best!

Dear Judy B. and Lola Mae. Prayers continue for a successful surgery and complete recovery and great results with P.T. for Lola Mae. Those little dogs can be such troopers when they need to be. Prayers also continue for some relief from the stress for Judy,
I really hope for a T.C. winner this year, as I have every year there has been a chance. Most important of all is safety for all horses and riders in all the races everywhere.
We had a couple tornado warnings today, but no damage here, just heavy rain. I checked for the race results at Arapahoe Park and the whole race day was cancelled due to weather.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and good luck with your favorite horses.

Judy B,

I don’t know how many times I have watched the posted video’s of the 2 Prince’s interacting. I must say that I was so Proud of First Prince Cozmic One for showing such restraint when the pesky Second Prince Ziconic had something to say to him about his last race. Even when second Prince was told to be quite he kept up the tirade and said,’ I only speak the truth ‘. Anyway, that was fun and they both did really well.
Am amazed at how well behaved they both were when Ann was with them.
Am also amazed as to how much Cozmic has grown since his last race. I also watched the video showing him running and I was thrilled to see that Coz had some good speed. Zi of cause will be a speed horse, see how he was keeping up with the other horse while not breaking a sweat.
Thanks to all team Z for the update and for being ever so kind in sharing the Prince’s and the Queen with us. It is always well at Z nation.

Wishing everyone racing tomorrow a safe trip and best of luck. It is well at Z Nation.

June 6 Cherokee Devotional
Too little is being done because so many are looking for recognition and avoiding involvement where no one sees and applauds. Right this minute someone has a great need and has no idea how to get it met. Someone feels alone and without a person to tell them they can make it. A child needs reassurance and love and protection from real and imagined enemies.
Reach past personal woes and see these people and these situations and help-even without glory. The good of it will come back. It always does.
The evil spirit said, “I want halt the people of the earth.” The Great Spirit said, “No, I cannot give you any. I love them all too much.”

Dear Sheena,
Just watched the video of the Derby, one of the most exciting
races I have ever seen. The duel at the front, don’t usually see that.
Golden Horn keen to go on, Frankie put him to sleep at the back
of the pack, had a hard time waking him up and then he exploded with
a huge run. What a great horse. The Queen in gold with a big smile
on her face, great exciting race !!!!
Love and hugs
