Announcing the New Forum!

The Zenyatta.com forum is now ready for you to join. Just click on the FORUM link in the menu bar above.

In order to participate in forum discussions, you must create an account with the user name of your choice. Each user has a profile and personal inbox in addition to the public space. The forum includes a couple features that many of you have asked for: the ability to edit posts and the option to sign up for email notifications about new comments and messages.

While updates and Zenyatta news will continue to be posted on the rest of this website, the forum is your space to connect with each other and maintain friendships that have already been forged.

If any of you have questions or trouble signing up, feel free to ask us here.

You may also notice that the DIARY and NEWS items can now be accessed through the single menu item, BLOG. From there you can choose to view Z’s Diary, News, or both.

In other news, Tasty is still patiently waiting for her foal to arrive.

      It never ceases to amaze me how HAPPY Zenyatta is and what a majestic, intelligent, loving creature God gave to the world. She is truly immortal and will live in all of our hearts for eternity.

    OK, I am a little tech DUH!!! How does one make up a user name and what does it look like? I put Karen Gogue and it would not accept … HELP!!

      Hi Karen,

      User names can’t contain spaces, but you can use an underscore and sign up as Karen_Gogue

        Karen, I had the same issue and went with HeidiK. I was going to use my normal moniker, DinkyDiva but, decided that might confuse some people. LOL

      karen: I ran my user name together with no space and it accepted it. Rejected it when I put a space between my first and last name.

    I applied for membership in the Forum and received a notice that I needed to reconfirm my e-mail address by “click[ing] here.” I clicked, but nothing happened. I hope my application will be approved. I submitted it with the user name VA-in-CA.
    I have been a long time follower of the diary and comments and feel I have come to know some of the regular post-ers, so I want to keep up with what is going on with them, as well as with Zenyatta and Tasty. I have never posted a comment, but hope to do so on the Forum. I was going to use “New kid on the blog” as my username, but opted out of that in favor of VA in CA. It’s handy having a state for a name; I have a ready-made official abbreviation. Although in many ways, I am a kid, i’m one who is going to be 73 next month.

      Hi Virginia,

      It looks likes you still have to click on the confirmation link in the email. You should have an email from noreply@www.zenyatta.com. If it didn’t appear in your inbox, try checking your junk folder.

      Do you have an item that says Spam? It’s probably in that folder – that’s where mine was. Just click on it and it takes you back to Zenyatta.com with a message that says you application has been accepted. Hope this helps.

    Oh, hey. Hooray! I found the e-mail in my Spam Folder which I never accessed before. I thought I was receiving all my Spam; there certainly is enough of it that gets through. Now I know where to look. Hope to be accepted onto the Forum. Thanks for starting and running it.

      Glad you figured it out!

      As for acceptance into the forum—and this applies to everyone—it’s a formality that will help us weed out potential spammers. We’re approving everyone immediatly at the moment, but sometimes it might take us a while. You’ll have full access to the forum while your account is awaiting approval.
