Team Z is proud to announce that Zenyatta’s chestnut colt by Tapit has been named.

Inspired by the iconic Zenyatta herself, Jerry Moss has chosen the name Ziconic for her second colt.

Ziconic = Iconic with a Z! (zīˈkänik)

    Saw on Facebook that Zenyatta has delivered a filly by War Front. Congratulations to the Queen on the birth of your little ‘Zenbella’… two princes and a princess… truly something special and remarkable.

    Long ago I caught the Zenfever and have become a thorough Zenaholic. That will never change and I look forward to following Coz, Ziconic, and little Zenbella (I know not her name but I bet she looks like a little bella!)

    Cannot wait to see Z14 – am thrilled …. this made my day!!

    A very thoughtful Zenyatta friend messaged me on my phone that our Queen had her filly a little after midnight. I’m just so thrilled for Zenyatta and all her family. Well brothers, now you have a baby sister. What a thrill for everyone involved. It is a blessing. I’m so happy and we thank you, Lane’s End and I thank YOU ( and you know who you are) for sharing the news with me. I knew the Easter Bunny would somehow factor into the delivery….

    Great news/ and sad news together with the loss of Bond Holder and the injury to the trainer Larry Jones. Prayers for all who are in the midst of sorrow, hurt and loss.

    We look forward to all that you share with us her faithful fans. She is so much to so many.

    I just heard Zenny delivered a “Filly” OMG Just over the moon. I am the happiest person.

        Judy, the card is just beautiful. I just went into my favorites and saw Zenyatta’s 2005 sale video again. Just had to see her. Oh gosh the little princess would just be about 2 1/2 hours old. Pray so hard the good lord will take care of them both.

        Thank you for the beautiful linked message and loved the paintings by Kim McElroy. Just returned from sunrise service – it was truly a wonder – we had rain just ‘beside’ us on the mountain and then the sun came peaking through the clouds. I wish everyone could have been there with us. We’re surrounded by mountains and live on the mountain just above the high desert. Joyous Easter and happy Passover to you also and to all of Zenny’s family here on her website. What a glorious day! Can’t wait to see pics of Zenyatta’s princess. Love – Elizabeth

    Another Easter baby! Our son and his wife adopted a baby girl born Wednesday night–their first! I tried to persuade them to name her Zenyatta, but they went for Chelsea. :-)
