Zenny is absolutely beautiful. Hope each of you had a Merry Christmas and I wish everyone a Happy New Year. This year has had it’s up’s and down’s, but of course the big loss was the passing of Z Princess, RIP beautiful girl. By this time next year we will be celebrating all the wins that Coz will have to his credit, and we will be eagerly awaiting Ziconic’s racing career. We will also be awaiting the arrival of The Queen’s 2016 foal. Once again hope each of you has a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Hi, sounds like you’re continuing to enjoy fantastic racing. Stay warm and cozy. All seems well with the FB furbabies. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.
Dear Kathy.Left a post on your FB.I found a great video of Black Caviar foaling and posted it on my page. Also a short video of Kauto parading at Kempton.Zeus and family got a lot of cards. Now I am getting to visit the furbabies gosh,it was freezing here last night!Monday is definitely cancelled here today.Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.
Double Wow!! Zenyatta looks incredibly beautiful and in such good shape. Seems impossible looking at her that she’s been retired four years now. Looking forward to a healthy and happy New Year for her, Team Z, and Lane’s End.
The Fly reigns supreme. One of the most exciting races yet. Probably the margin would have been longer if he had not been boxed in. Had to come from off the pace like our Z. At the end of race, The Fly was ready to bite. Wild and free!
To those who think that Dan is an old guy at 8 and should retire to his paddock, The Fly turns 11 on January 1, 2014. He’s tougher than ever.
What a great race! Thanks Max. If anyone hasn’t watched it yet, it might help to know that The Fly has saddle cloth number 3, and his rider is in blue. That’s all obvious at the end, but tracking him earlier on wasn’t so easy.
Max
The Fly’s jockey is wearing the blue and green silks of Creighton & Boyd. His owners are Brits from Northern Ireland. Rose Boyd is a woman. The Fly is the smallest horse in the race and the most determined. He started out racing on the flat in France. If Shorty yelled out, allons-y, The Fly would know what that means. Quel cheval!
I hope everyone had a peaceful & loving Christmas. I did. Spent it with my wonderful sister& family. She is care-giver to her husband who is in final stages of dementia. I help her all I can. The reason I mention this is of all the things we take for granted, we must not take health for granted. It is a priceless gift & is gone all too soon. We must all look after one another & love well as we never know when it is gone. Zenyatta is our gift & having the Mosses let us in on her life is a bit of heaven in a troubled world. All the best to you all is my wish for 2015.
Dear Max.The Fly was at his brilliant best today!Very exciting race.I left a post about SS on previous page for you.Everything looks good.A very Happy New Year to you and yours.Sheena.
Jezki had two pacemakers in that race and still could not overcome The Fly. Mullins says that The Fly has lost now of his zest for racing. He’s as eager as ever to train and he refuses to lose. He ran today with a piece of gorse caught in his strap. Although that had to be uncomfortable, The Fly never lets anything or any horse defeat him. He loves racing. What a total contrast to Moosie.
Nice video of Ziconic’s Dad, Tapit at Gainsway Farm. My gosh his coat is completely white now. I think ZI has his conformation. He’s just gorgeous. Love and Hugs, JB
Judy, wonderful video of Tapit. Hope Zenny has a future date with him. Thanks for sharing this one. w love, Elizabeth
PS We’re down in the low 20’s this week, which for us is icy.
Judy
Thanks for the video of Tapit. He sure is a good looking guy and they seem to be keeping his weight under control. He does have a beautiful long white tail. And CC is his grandson!

TY Jag, was just getting ready to post Cozzie’s nice work. Alrighty then, he’s getting closer to where he needs to be. In fact, it was better than Ebby’s time. How about that? Wonder if VE was on him again. Would like to see a work at 1:00 or under he starts to be safe. Hope John is giving Coz a lot of gate training too so nothing goes wrong.
Zenny, you look absolutely stunning in these photos! I’m thinking you could take a turn on the track and still beat them all. Blessings to all of Team Z and Alys who took these marvelous pictures of the true Queen of Racing!
I hope everyone who posts here had a merry Christmas and will have a happy new year. A few rednecks jokes to end the year. You might be a redneck if you have the word “howdy” on your telephone answering machine. You might be a redneck if, with just one sniff of some cow manure, you can identify the breed of cattle it comes from. You might be a redneck if you dress up as Willie Nelson on Halloween. You might be redneck if your mother’s cell number has nothing to do with a telephone. You might be a redneck if you believe that Alpo makes a good sandwich.
Dear TC,
Thanks bunches for the laughs! Your jokes are always good therapy.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, too.
Happy New Year with best wishes for a healthy, prosperous 2015!

Zenyatta looks fabulous! Great photos; a special gift for us to see her free spirited attitude! I just saw Ziconic’s photo……he is stunning! So handsome, his facial expression reminded me of Zenyatta.
Thank you for sharing these magnificent photos with us.
Love them…very special!
You know how Mullins is always low key about his horses. He never brags about them. Today he said that The Fly was the best hurdler that anyone has ever trained. Although he will be 11 by Wednesday, The Fly is still coltish and in high spirits to train. Mullins said that in the final furlong of today’s race, Jezki bettered The Fly over the last hurdle, but The Fly just pinned back his ears, lowered his head and went for it. In a battle of wills on the race course, The Fly will never back down, kind of like Danny Boy. In comparing him to Faugheen, Mullins said that Faugheen is an up and coming hurdler, but The Fly is doing it right now. Very proud of The Fly. He’s a real credit to Montjeu. First class hurdler and biter.
Dear Max.Yes,Mullins is a very modest man.He has been so patient with the Fly throughout his career he was 7 winning his 1st Champion hurdle.I cannot see anyone,in my lifetime anyway, beating his record of Grade 1 wins.I really hope shorty will chose to ride him this march again but who knows?I am sure his Daddy, despite siring many Derby winners ,has a special place in his heart for this son.Hugs Sheena.
If Mullins can tolerate being bitten on the butt by The Fly and laugh about it before the entire world, he’s a real man. Shorty himself marvelled today at how much effort is put forth by Mullins and his peeps to keep The Fly in top shape. As you say, Montjeu has had many great sons, including Hurricane Run, who won the Arc. There is however something entirely magic about The Fly. Compared to Jezki, The Fly is pony size, but in terms of spirit and will he’s a giant.
Dear Judy. Thanks very much for the pics of Prince George. He really is a cute little boy!Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Frank Hercules Boo and all the Sweeties.Hovis has had snow in Lincolnshire pic of him out in the field!Love and hugs SheenaX
Thanks, BG for this stunning photo of Ziconic! He looks like a noble warrior. So exciting to think of what is a head for him. Many Blessings, w love, Elizabeth
Well, I for one have come to the conclusion, that this site is about to burst with so much ongoing developments regarding Coz, Zi and Zenny being in foal later in the year, that we may need oxygen tanks just to catch our breath. I really enjoy the forum where they do their research, providing additional info on her big boys in training with pics and videos. Such a well-rounded place to visit and learn so much. TY from my heart! So praise The Mosses in their patience and plans to honor and cherish our big girl who must always come first and remain healthy, strong and most of all very content and happy. I am so excited about the future.
More fun from the Danimal. Ziconic and Dan seem to have inherited Secretariat’s 100 % cashmere coat. Dan is now wearing the winter version for Kentucky. Ziconic on the other hand will choose the lighter Florida variety. Keep smiling my friends.
