Already feeling blessed after having spent a wonderful day with my family yesterday, all of my good feelings are amplified by these wonderful new photos of our Queen when I came to the site this morning. My heart cannot come up with enough adequate words of gratitude so I can only say thank you so much for continuing to share your beautiful Zenyatta and her family with those of us who love her, too. She looks so trim – almost race fit once again – she is dazzling as always. Thank you!!!
Yes, I agree with all here who can see the changes because you’ve had a breeding season off and could get the weight off.
But ALYS, these photos of Zenny are STUNNING. TRULY! I love each one for different reasons, but the shots of her running free and the close-ups of that beautiful face and big, dark eyes are particularly moving for me.
WHAT A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT, TEAM Z! THANK YOU. Like you, this was my little family’s first Christmas without someone we loved and it was beautiful, though poignant. I thought of you, TEAM Z, at this time but I know our Princess is being cared for by people like the late KARI BUSSELL and by some great thoroughbred champions. And she will SHINE ON forever.
Love & hugs to my Big BODACIOUS Girl and her boys, to each one of you, TEAM Z, to our Princess and to my Zen family here on Zenny’s home of the heart.
A great win for Silviniaco Conti in The King George!Led from the start,Brilliant round of jumping coached by Kauto himself!9th KG for Paul Nicholls!Hoofray.Congratulations to Silvi and Paul.Sheena.
Zenyatta always gives us perfect gifts and her Christmas greeting is no exception. These photos are excellent and really inspiring. Don’t know about others but like always I’m following her lead: watching the diet in 2015 so that I can run around my paddock even a little like Z.
Nice captures, Alys, ty. How beautiful our Queen is!!! I’d give anything to see her in real life and to touch her face would be heaven but that aint gonna happen. Sad. Love u forever Zenny.
Thx teamZ for sharing
Thank you to the Mosses for letting her have the year off. She looks great, like it wouldn’t take much for her to be racing fit. She also looks pretty happy about having less weight and can’t we all relate to that! LOL!
Wow, Zenny! Your new diet and exercise program have you looking “mahvelous, dahlink”! And don’t you just feel so frisky too! You still have the moves, beautiful girl! All the better for your next date with that War Front fellow. Wink, wink.
Well, I gotta try to get up off the couch and get rid of some of this Christmas dinner!
Happy New Year to the Mosses, all at Lanes End, and all the Z Dumplings & Zsters from sunny Arizona.
This one’s a wowser…..the queen in flag’s up mode with all 4 off the floor. I think Aly’s story this time is Zenyatta’s in stellar condition and reving her engine for 2015. Thanks to all, especially Alys……our queen in her prime and ready to shine!! What a way to bring in the new year for Z Nation.
On the Santa Anita website, Jerry Moss says that Coz is ready to run and that he will race in the next few days. No further details, but it sounds like we should keep an eye out.
Thanks to Team Z and Alys for the most wonderful photos of beautiful Zenny. She is so very special. Hope everyone in the Zenyatta Nation is staying safe, warm and grateful.
Happy New Year!!! :)
Peace, Love & God Bless You,
Kathy from SoCal xoxo :)
So great to see Queen Z looking so healthy. A very smart move by Ann and Jerry to give our Queen a year off from her breeding schedule. She looks like the year off was just what she needed.
A wonderful Christmas to see the Queen looking so fit. What motherhood can do to the body.
Gorgeous as always, so glad I can look at these beautiful photos and just sit here and smile from ear to ear.
Hey I gues i’m still not with it. Thought I posted this. I missed Bold Animaux’s race today. At the hospital. I will try to find this race.Sure wanted to see him. Does he look like his Sire.
thank you, thank you, thank you for the beautiful pictures of Queen Zenyatta! The tears of joy are rolling down my face. she looks incredible, so sleek and toned, she looks like she’s ready to race again. thanks for the photos and all of the memories! maybe she can try to have a little fillie again! We had so many dreams, too bad they were cut short. we are looking forward to the boys, but a little girl dancing like mom would be awesome! we love you Mosses, Sherriff’s, all of the team Z and lane’s end for everything you give us regarding the team Z royal family. love marsha & joe
These picture are wonderful! Zenny looks for beautiful and happy that I just sat here and cried.
I can see the weight loss that Jerry mentioned, and he is right, she looks so much better. Her coat is really shiny again, and her old spunk is back. She needed this year off from being pregnant.
So happy she will be bred to War Front again. I hope the breeding and pregnancy goes well. I have such mixed feelings about the sex of her next baby. I’d love for her to have another filly, but on the other hand Z Princess can’t be replaced. I still cry often over the loss of her. She owned such a big piece of my heart!
