Hi Everyone,

As promised, we’re bringing you the latest updates on Zenyatta and Baby. Here’s a new shot of them enjoying the beautiful weather, captured for us by Jerry Moss. All is well, and they are both happy and healthy.

Many of you have been wondering about Tasty Temptation, so we asked Lane’s End for the lastest news. As of today, she still has not foaled.

    Yes, thanks for the update on Tasty. She might be a bit of a “late bloomer”. I know Lane’s End is taking good care of her to keep her and her baby safe.

    Praise God!! What a Beautiful Picture! Thank You Mr Moss for sharing this great picture. The kindness you and your wife have shown to Zenyatta’s fans speaks volumes about the kind of people you are. Wonderful, Compassionate, Caring, Sharing, Exceptional Character and the list could go on and on. So many of us REALLY DO HONESTLY LOVE ZENYATTA. Baby Z well he was Love at first sight – he resembles Queen Z in so many ways. Both of them look very healthy and Z she looks great– has not been that long since she gave birth. I’m not sure who blessed us with this post it says Team Z. On my Facebook feed it said Lanes End. I am not sure but THANKS SO VERY MUCH. God Bless ALL of You. Thanks for the Tasty update we care about her too.
    Dottie you have worked so hard and given us so much but it is true you have to take a break maybe a long break who knows. May God continue to bless you, John and little sophie.

    My heart smiles again!! Thank you Jerry/Lanes End/Team Z for this absolutely precious picture and update on Tasty. I have been thinking of TT and her foal hoping everything is going well and that she, too, will have a normal delivery. Blessings to you all for being such wonderful, caring people!! I treasure each and every communication we receive. . . . thank you so very much!!!!

    Thank you for posting the beautiful picture and the update.
    I was wondering, How soon after birth was the halter put on? When do you start getting the babies use to grooming, leading, feet checked, vet checked, etc.

    wow! it certainly is a wonderful surprise to find a posting/update so soon! i really didn’t expect it. so, why come to a site that i ‘knew’ wouldn’t have any news? well, having read every single diary and every single posting since day one, i just couldn’t stay away now. kudos to whomever is writing this as “team z”! thanks a million! and how about this amazing picture? your first effort is a hit in my book! z looks spectacular and little 12zenyatta….what more can be said? handsome tyke, isn’t he? does he have any idea of how much he is loved? thanks, again. happiness reigns in zland once more!!

    Thanks to all involved for the wonderful update, it made my day and night!
    I believe that TT is being well taken care by the wonderful staff at Lane’s End
    and look forward to seeing an update on her soon. Momma and son

      I found that article on my FB earlier and read and savored every word! The Dumplings are going to have so much fun Saturday at SA for the shower and wonderful racing. Might not be the best of weather but, heck, you can’t keep a Dumpling down! :)

    Mr. Moss and Lane’s End Staff,

    Thank you very, very much for your thoughtfulness by posting the new picture of Zenyatta and her Wee Prince, as we their friends experience withdrawal symptoms.
    It is evident in this picture that he is steadier on his legs and growing.

    Also, thank you very much for the update on Tasty Temptation. I tried to access information about her on your website, but was unsuccessful. I did find a lovely picture of her when she won the Hill ‘n’ Dale Stakes June 20, 2010 at Woodbine and printed it.

    YAY!!! :) Thank goodness for the every single Zenyatta team member for taking care of our beloved Queen and keeping us updated on her racing and broodmare careers. We love you all and appreciate every effort you make, every bit of info you provide and every pic you share. You have personalized the horse racing industry by sharing her with us, and are confident you will continue to do so in the near and far future. Bless you all!

    Thank you Team Z for the update and the pic!!! Zenyatta and Baby Z look very happy and I’m so happy to hear that they are doing well. Baby Z is beautiful, just like his mom. Thanks also for the update on Tasty. I hope she has her baby soon.

    Thank you so much for the picture and update. I was afraid that I was going to have to go through Zenyatta Withdrawal! I always felt that the Moss Family was a class act and they would respond to our needs for all things Zenyatta and her Dumpling and they have. Thank goodness! BTW: I have the original plushie. Is a second version, with the Dumpling’s markings, going to be available? Please keep us posted!

    UPDATE. Lane’s End updated the 2012 foals page and only one foal born early this morning. Still no Tasty on the list. Ugh. Oh well guess the baby is just not ready to come into this world yet. :o)

      amanda – thanks for the update. poor tasty. perhaps she will have an april foal. zenyatta was an april foal, so tasty’s baby would be in good company!
