Hosea 14:8
God goes with us into the wilderness and every dry land. He is the answer to every question, the life blooming from dirt, the promise that we’re never done surrendering.
Are you hurting today? Take heart. Dare to see God, right now. Dare to believe the things you’ve been taught are true, that He’s beside you, and His hand reaches out for yours.
Thank you, Team Zenyatta, for the continued celebrations of this beautiful girl! She is special and I would love the chance to see her again. Just purchased my sticker and ready to bid on one of her shoes! Sending my love and hoping all is well with everyone!

Dear Sheena,
So happy about Fox-Pitt. Sad about Kauto Stone, leaving this earth so soon, to be with
his brother where they can jump without any consequences.

I just saw the picture on Her Mike’s Facebook page, and I’m sobbing. Zenny looks so happy to see him! The love on Mike’s face for his “special girl” is so evident. I’ll bet he’ll be thinking about everything he and Zenyatta accomplished in their race years together, especially tomorrow during the BC.
Thanks for the heads up. Just went to Mikey’s Facebook and here’s the photo. You can see the love for her on his face. What a team they were. Love and Hugs, JB

Dear Sheena,
This video and these lads are hilarious. It is quite obvious that the
horses are not TB. Too many scary things on them and so quiet.
Love the ghost carrying his treat bag.
Love and hugs
Dear Tizgood.I always look forward to their videos on Saturday.Mattie(Batch) is a jumps jockey over here. One of the funniest guys in the weighing room.Everyone was so thrilled when he won the Hennessey a few years ago on Carruthers for Lord Oaksey.Good chasing here today.I heard Beholder is only going to have a 6-8 week rest not enough surely??Hugs Sheena
Tizgood
Dear Sheena,
Your jockey’s are so multitalented; read AP
is going to be on Channel 4 with Clare. That
is going to be so wonderful. I miss Gary Stevens
a lot; he was great on HRTV. Wonder what they
are going to run Beholder in; Beholder was treated
very quickly and carefully here by Mandella and the
Vet at Keenland. Seems like things are mild for her and should
resolve quickly.
Enjoy jumps today.

Few things are mind-and-spirit-adjusting like putting our hand to a job that has m=been waiting too long. The bigger the job, the better our concentration.
Work keeps the hands busy and frees the mind from raw nerves and injured feelings A time to talk will come-if it is needed at all. Sometimes busy hands like walking feet can do away with things thought to be unsolvable.
Decide to do a thing that no one else can do-a specific move away from pain. It can set the wheel to turn-maybe slowly at first-but soon you’ll be on top again.
If white man wants to live in peace with Indian he can live in peace.

Dear Kathy.I don’t think white man wanted to live in peace with anyone even themselves and don’t get me started on the way they treat wildlife!!!We had 30million hedgehogs in the UK during the 50’s now there are only a million!!Thank you for the Halloween card. It’s bigger over here now than St Valentine’s day.Our AP is at Ascot talking about his new job for channel 4 he’s beginning to lose that gaunt look now.
I haven’t had much time to visit the furbabies took flowers up for my mother she died 8yrs ago tomorrow. So many memories.
Weather still very mild over here. The big day is here for AP and our GH.As long as they stay safe and sound.Kimberly decorates her house for the autumn and Fubu helps out!

the East to West competition.
Congratulations to Cue Card back to his brilliant best in the Charlie Hall at Wetherby.A great favourite of Alice Fox-Pitt’sDon Cossack an amazing win at Down Royal.Sheena.
Dear Sheena,
Songbird is huge compared to the other 2 yo and extremely
talented, big as Zenny ( not quite). Rachel Valentina tried to catch
her, she is much smaller. Great race, westcoast wins !!!!
Sophie Doyle is now racing filly and mare sprint; Frankie on Judy the Beauty as the
favorite and last years winner; of course Cavorting a big talent !!! Great race
coming up.
Love and hugs
Switched to NBC great beautiful coverage of the BC, GH looked beautiful in the paddock, curious about the bright colored ponies. Beated by the filly Found;
amazing race. GH ran his heart out, ground too soft. Lovely lovely filly could not
beat GH in the Arc, but beat him here.
Great BC turf !!!!! Hope their is some US interest in GH
Congratulations to Grand Slam winner American Pharoah on winning the Classic in his last race ever! You have made so many people so happy and proud AP, and we will miss seeing you on the track. Have a good time in Kentucky making Lil’ Pharoahs. I hope you get to meet THE QUEEN, Zenyatta for a date someday!
American Pharoah wins easily!GH’s race was a repeat of the Juddmonte beaten by a girl again! He didn’t care for the softish ground.I watched the races on Judy’s link.Huge congratulations to a fantastic champion. Now he will start a new life in a beautiful home.Hugs Sheena.God bless Found and Ryan.
Victor Espinoza answered the question of racing AP at 4 right after the big race: no one wants Pharoah to get hurt. Secretariat’s syndication partners pretty much shut his racing career down after the Canadian International race on turf which he won handily. I think also that insuring AP to race at 4 now that his value is through the roof isn’t encouraged by the insurance firm that insures him because, God forbid, if something happened, their payout to the Zayats would be huge.
Tizgood
Debbie E good point about the insurance; worrying about the horse getting
hurt?;he can get cast in his stall at Coolmore or god forbid have a paddock
accident, colic, get a spinal cord injury from breeding etc…. . Penny Chenery syndicated Secretariat his 3 year old year because she had to save the farm. Unfortunately $$$$ is the reason he is being retired at 3, which is sad.
Deb E.
I meant getting hurt or killed on the track. I realize that accidents and illnesses happen to horses no matter how safe we try to keep them. Unfortunately, we just remembered a day where that exact thing happened one year ago. Horses get hurt and horses die and they don’t have to be doing anything particularly dangerous like racing. In Pharoah’s case, he sustained a bad injury to his left front hoof last year during a workout that requires him to wear a special shoe. I think that Bob Baffert and the Zayats have worried about that hoof all season despite the shoe brace and really don’t want to push AP in a 4 year-old campaign out of fear that the injury will recur with catastrophic results. Better to let him go out a winning champion with happy memories cemented in the public’s mind.
Tizgood
Deb E you make some great points; this week BB asked if he could race at
4. It is so impressive that there were no injuries, breakdowns or tragic consequences for any of the horses and riders at Keenland. They did a wonderful job with the BC. Hope everyone who went to the BC had a great
time and have a lot to share.
Dear Tizgood.A lot of criticism for Aidan running Gleneagles on dirt.He hated the surface.beaten 25 lengths .A sad end to his career .GH can hold his head high in 2nd place and drug free!Sad to see them retire so young that’s why I love the jumps. They have long careers.Hugs Sheena
Dear Sheena,
Noticed he did not like the surface; I don’t think this performace
will at all affect GE value as a stallion or make him look negative
in anyones eyes. I understand their is a faction of race goers that are
not fond of Adian and some of the things he does, but like Richard Mandella says
sometimes I know what I am doing and sometimes it is guess work and
if a trainer does not try new things they will not move forward. DOW loved running
on the dirt in the BCC, was very competative with our best dirt horses, who would
have figured that he would have done as well as he did?
There are many horses that don’t like the surface
they run on at times. GE is a European champion and no one can take
that from him; he is gorgeous and will be a great stallion. Remember Animal
Kingdom our KY Derby winner and Dubai World Cup winner; he went out
looking poorly running at Royal Ascot, did the same thing only he came in
last as the favorite. GM took a risk, that could have enhanced his stallion value,
it did not work. He is still a great stallion !!!!
