Dear Sallie and Elizabeth, When they scoped her this morning she had Bled. (From the Lungs). She will be OK, but they would not chance to race her like this.
They said she had got herself all worked up from the trip cross country.
Love Ya Beholder. Another Day.
Dear Peggy, Thank you for the update. It’s so good to see humans putting their horse’s welfare 1st. I’m thankful there are so many tremendously good owners, trainers and jockeys. I pray that for all of the ‘lovely’ horses (they’re all lovely in my mind). God’s blessings, Peggy, for a wonderful day. with love, Elizabeth
Dear Zenny and Zenyatta Family,
I told my husband this morning, “I’m going to bid on Zenny’s website…OK? Hi
His response, “Sure, are you going to buy a horse?” (of course he was kidding – or maybe he just ‘hoped’ he was kidding!). This is so much fun – checking back and seeing all of this money going to help other horses. Zenny – as always, you and your human family are amazing! Love to you and everyone on the website. Elizabeth
PS again… Bon Chance Everyone – hope you all win what you want
One of the most exciting times of the year-Breeder’s Cup Races.
Have fun all the Z Dumplings who are going & take/share photos.
Safe rides to all who race!
Hate that Beholder had to scratch but glad her connections put her welfare first. Last night on TVG Simon Bray discussed her first fever and said it was really something to be watched and explained the problems flights can cause. I never thought of anything like that. So good to see Simon back. God Bless all the horses and jockeys.
BB is very “annoyed”with AP’s work rider George Alvarez for allowing the horse to go at a fast and furious pace in a schooling session.Tensions are high!Sheena
AP is out of control right now; he needs a race pretty bad and is pulling and running away with everyone. Not sure anyone can hold him back. BB knows that too.
Did you see the article about the Ramsey’s and Shining Copper; hope GH does not get
hooked into a speed duel with him as his purpose it to set a pace for the closers. Hope Frankie reads up on him as well as Gosden. I know as of today they had not studied the
race yet. If GH gets hooked by SC it may be all over as he runs 10 to 15 lengths in front
of the field after he blasts off. GH was perky today with Frankie up. Gosden said he likes to bring a 4 or 5 year old here preferably because the corners are tight and the horses move qickley and change leads quickly, which I guess is what he means by GH is handy and he can do those things, but he is only 3 with less experience. Thank goodness he has Frankie who is super experienced and he is a very mature horse for his age. BC starts here at 3:30 pm. Hope Gleneagles goes out on the dirt track tomorrow. Joseph rode him today and said if he takes to the dirt in the firt few furlongs he will give them a shout. The talking heads are giving him no respect and Giant’s Causeway almost beat Tiznow, who is so gritty. That was a great BCC in 2000. Safe trips for all the horses this weekend
Love and hugs
PS I was surprised in the article about the BC turf Ken Ramsey sounded a bit arrogant. I guess behind that smiling face is a huge competative drive. I think
they may all be a ” little on their toes and on the muscle” as humans about the
race meeting GH.
Dear Tigood.I think John Gosden is more concerned about the ground.Even if it dries ground will still be good to soft,We all know how fast US horses break from the stalls but hopefully GH will show them at the end!I am more worried about Gleneagles.Hugs Sheena.Safe trips for ALL.
Tizgood
Dear Sheena,
So maybe no worries for GH and Shining Copper as GH will break slower
than they do, I feel better. That smiling Ken Ramsey is going to try and hook GH, maybe make him take the lead and try and wear him out. Hopefully, he will run off the pace as he can. Yes, the ground for all is a concern as Big Blue Kitten does not like soft; the Pizza Man is better on soft. It should dry out. AP is wired; BB has him probably too tight so who knows what is going to happen at the break; a big deep breath for Gleneagles and huge centrifical force for Ryan. It is easy for BB to blame exercise rider; I amvsure he was unable to stop him where BB wanted him stopped. Would be better if he was on the outside of all the speed. Frosted is going to blast out, too.
One for all and all for one !!!! GH is a beautiful young horse; his uncle showed them all how to run on the dirt and battled head to head with Tiznow which is quite something. Hopefully he can do the same !!!
Left you a post on the next post about Frankie.
Love and hugs
I will be heading up to my friend’s tomorrow morning to join in watching The Breeders Cup . Won’t be back until Sunday.
Wishing all horses and jockeys a safe journey in their race.
Wishing AP, and Honor Code to be at the top of their race with the jockeys good judgement and then may the best win for 2015 Classic on this day.
This is an exciting week-end! I will be back to check on the bidding!

I don’t know if anyone else does this, but when I have a bad day I watch the replay of Zenyatta’s Breeders Cup Race and it puts the biggest smile on my face. I purchased my sticker and I have my hooves crossed to meet the Queen. I love the fact that so many people still live and follow her like I do!
In retrospect, we have ignored common sense in favor of doing what we wanted to do. We wish we had not done it, but we said what we wanted to say, spoke out when it would have been better to stay quiet-we have overruled our common sense.
Looking back again, when did we get off track? What little thing stung us into action? If we learn to hear the voice of wisdom we can overcome our foolishness. Wisdom never lets us down, but ignoring it will put away from us the best friend we can have.
I am tired of talk that comes to nothing.
