Dear Judy. Thanks so much for the link.I was able to watch all the races.Loved Songbird and it’s a fairytale for Run Happy.Sadly GH didn’t care for the ground but he ran drug free and can look back on a fantastic season. As for AP what can you say?Fantastic champion,It’s a very intimate racecourse.Sad for Gleneagles though he hated the dirt.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX
Glad you got to watch the races. Yes, AP is incredible. Couldn’t help thinking what potential for a “super horse” if Z and AP are bred. Sorry for Glen; next time on turf. Congrats to all. Love and Hugs, JB
Very thankful that all the Breeder’s Cup races ran without any breakdowns. To my knowledge no runner came out with an injury. Was happy that Honor Code got up for 3rd.
Dear Janet,
I was happy for Honor Code, also! He is a very nice horse and handsome, too. I also like Shug McGaughey(sp?). It is a big relief that there weren’t any accidents. All in all, a wonderful BC! Very excited about American Pharoah — YAY!

The danger point comes after a victory when we think there are no more battles. How many wars have been fought thinking this is the war that will end all wars? Even in our own private battles we cannot lie back and think we have won the right to peace.
We do need to know and remember that we are more than conquerors. It is a life promise, but we have to claim it. Other claims have taken precedence-weariness, lack, sickness-but we are conquerors, even more than conquerors. We are winners and overcomers. Believe it, because it is true, and the more we claim it, the stronger it is.
Where is our strength? In the old times we were strong.

Boo, Buddy and Blue were all dressed up for Halloween. Blue was a haughty gentleman, Boo was a chubby pumpkin, but poor Buddy was a cranky fairy with a pink skirt and everything. I fear for his psyche! Haven’t visited the ratties yet. Will do that next. Have a blessed Sabbath. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
Dear Kathy.A blessed Sabbath to you.Wonderful devotional.I have just seen the “Sugar-plum fairy”!Oh,bless him.Mango’s grandpa is getting better slowly,he is going to rehab now.Abby’s got a Harley a present from Auntie Michelle,There’s going to be big twouble!Zoe has nearly 17000 friends now not bad for a stray roaming the streetsAP was magical last night but everyone is sad about Gleneagles.I believe he may stay in the US to stand at stud.GH and John Gosden can hold their heads high for going drug free.I loved Songbird’s win and Run Happy too.Have a fabulous day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.XOXO
Such good news on Mango’s grandpa. Abby must be delighted, her very own Harley! Zoe has gone over 17,000 now. What a popular little pup. And to think she was deemed unfit for adoption! Thank God Ruby Ranch took her in and Diane and Ken found her! All you need is LOVE, right? So euphoric for AP, but sad for Gleneagles, too. Kudos to GH and John Gosden. Congratulations to Songbird and Run Happy. Have a great day. Our time changed last night so It will take some getting used to! The extra hour of sleep was pretty nice, though. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Fresh from his success on Found at Keeneland last night Ryan Moore bagged another win at Saint Cloud this afternoon with Johannes Vermeer. He’ll be off to Australia for the Melbourne cup tuesday!Sheena
No moss growing under him. Incredible!
Enjoyed watching him ride.
Also enjoyed Gosden’s remark about the Euro horses finding the Paint and App track ponies VERY intetesting. Cute!
It was a terrific BC. Hope everyone has a nice Sunday. Happy November.
I liked the pony comments from Mr. Gosden, too! I guess the paint and Appaloosa ponies do look very different to them.
Take care fellow N. Carolinian!
Hugs and Love
Congrats to American Pharoah and all of the winners and all of the horses and riders. Great wins; great efforts. Hope all came back safe. Love and Hugs, JB
Hello to all!
I have been off the grid for a couple of days, but I did see the Breeders’ Cup races yesterday. Golden Horn ran a fine race (he is gorgeous!), and the filly, Found, was on fire. It was her day. I am so excited and happy for American Pharoah! What a race he gave us. There should be no doubt about his abilities now. He has run against quality horses all year to my thinking, and yesterday, he competed against older quality as well.
I will certainly miss him, but am happy that he is healthy and goes out at the absolute top. I was impressed with Bob Baffert’s obvious love for AP, too. Good job, Bob!
Congratulations to Nyquist, also! We will be watching him as he develops over the coming months, too. He was my pick to win, but I cannot take credit for any horsey wisdom — just a lucky pick!
Sure did like getting my lost hour back last night! Wish we would just stick to standard time year ’round.
For me to be one of the five winners of a 2016 visit with Zenyatta is mind boggling! I hope maybe she is rewarding me for the many times I and my friends traveled to Hollywood Park for a chat, and for the many carrots she successfully begged from us. I loved her for the dance she put on as she was led to the starting gate. I loved her cavalier approach to the early stages of the race. She knew when to step on the gas, so to speak. At the Del Mar track, Trevor Denman, who brilliantly called the races, would sing out “And here comes Zenyatta. Unbelievable,” with every syllable appropriately accented!!. I owe all of this good fortune to Carole Kennedy, a special friend who is a walking encyclopedia of thoroubred racing lore. No one can stump her. I hope she gets her due from the profession.
