Happy Tuesday!
We’re so excited about the days ahead. Not only are we heading into Breeders’ Cup weekend, but we’re also two days away from the beginning of the 2015 Zenyatta.com Celebration. The Celebration will be right here on Zenyatta.com, and you can participate as much as you’d like over the course of the four day event. Chat with fellow fans in the comments, share your photos and memories with us, browse our auction of Zenyatta memorabilia and most importantly, help Thoroughbreds who need second careers. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Thoroughbred Rehab Center, Inc.
If you’ve been waiting for a chance to meet Queen Z, this is it! For the third year in a row, five lucky fans will win the grand prize. Entry details will be announced with the launch of the Celebration, but here’s a preview:
Grand Prize: An Invitation to Meet Zenyatta
Each winner will be invited to travel to Lane’s End with one friend to meet Zenyatta and receive a tour of the farm. Photos from the visits will be featured right here on Zenyatta.com.*
See photos of the 2013 and 2014 winners in these galleries:

Wow…what I wouldn’t give for a chance to meet Zenyatta! Best of luck to everyone who enters and for whom this would be “doable!”

It’s a dream of mine to meet the Queen…how I would love to be able to.

❤ Queen Z! Always my favorite!

omg!!!! Brain storm you think if I win and zenyatta has a girl the mare could be my name sake. Just saying is an idea. Just kidding, however, I do think it is an excellent idea for a fun raiser highest bidder wins to her/him. Anyway am happy to see zenyatta is well and her two colts are gorgeous and more to come.
Carolin Phillips
Having been an avid follower of Zenyatta, I would soooooo love to meet her…we have a 19 year old rescued TB mare (Crowning Glory, a grand daughter of Affirmed) in our barn whose demeanor reminds me so much of Z…would love to be able to see if they really are alike by meeting Z in person…best wishes to all who enter.

Oh, to have a meeting with Zenyatta would be the greatest moment of my life, of course of my children. It would make me feel that I had something special happen just for me. She has been a piece of my heart forever. She is great. And always in my prayers.

While I haven’t “met” her, I do feel so privileged to have stood not 5 feet from The Queen with Mike on board and I was able to get a great picture. Also thrilled to have witnessed her 13th win that day at Santa Anita for the Lady’s Secret race.
Joan Pedron
I’d hitch hike from CA to get there!’
Do you have coffee cups for sale????

Ready and waiting. A visit to see our Queen would be so great.
Becky in Ohio
I saw the Queen strut her stuff at her last race, the Breeders Cup Classic, in Louisville. Everyone was there that day to witness royalty. At first I couldn’t quite believe that she had lost and that I was a witness to her one and only loss. But then I thought about how lucky I was to have seen her in person and to know that her achievements went way beyond that one loss! Being able to see her again and have a picture taken with her would be wonderful!

I would LOVE to meet the Queen. Of course, I’d bring an offering to befit her greatness and my lowly status as her minion: a BIG bag of Brach’s Starlight peppermints and a case of Guinness stout!

Four years ago I was ill, and every day after treatment I would spend time reading through the comments on Zenyatta.com. It was the highlight of each day. Thankfully, I am fully recovered now. However, 2 weeks ago my teen daughter was diagnosed with POTS (a nervous system disorder that causes debilitating symptoms). She has been unable to go to school or do much of anything for several months now, as she’s exhausted and has headaches all the time. It’s very stressful, but once again I find myself reading Zenyatta.com to take my mind off things for a few uplifting minutes each day (and watch her races again too!). What a joy it would be to visit Zenyatta during this difficult time…but I know everyone has their challenges in life, and we all are deserving fans of the Queen.
POTS
If anyone is familiar with this syndrome, please let me know if you’d like to share stories. It’s rather rare, and I’ve only connected with one other person so far. Thank you!

Dear Sheena, Beautiful sculpture of Cigar. Looking forward to AP’s updates. Wish you could win and have the opportunity to visit Zenny (of course don’t we all). Would be fun to think of someone so far away coming over to see our Queen Z. Hope you have a lovely evening (I forget the time change from here to your home). with love, Elizabeth

Beautiful Zenyatta, they still show pictures of you to advertise The Breeders Cup. Oh how I loved watching you break into your signature “dance”! Where I work I made many new horse fans just talking about you! I still tell them the latest about you and they want to hear as if you are the biggest movie star ever!! I keep up with your kids the best I can. I hope one of them runs near Churchill Downs! Some times I think about the last time I got to see you in the flesh, at Keeneland. I felt so bad for you to be in that horrible cold. On the video of you realizing you were not on a leash any more was just breathtaking! With your pretty tail up in the air you ran!! I hope I win a trip to see you, I’ll bring my sister because we’re your biggest fans!!

I know a lot of us (myself included) do not like to think about Z Princess’s death, but I have had this one tucked away for a while. I’m sorry for the reminder.
Would’ve, should’ve, could’ve.
There are many things Z Princess would of done, should of done, could of done. But these things will never happen.
These to things will never happen, because we lost her a year ago today.

Seems like I have loved you forever. I miss your dance and how you enjoyed your fans before each race .I love watching your races over and over. I have several picture of you displayed like you are my horse but than that is what Zen always was, the horse of and for the people. What an honor and pure joy it would be to see and met you in person. Good luck to all.

My sister and I waited for 3 hours at cold Keeneland for a glimpse of Zenyatta at her homecoming party. She was so beautiful, and it was worth the wait!
