For Zenyatta, it doesn’t get much better than peppermints and cool water on a hot summer day. Zenyatta received this peppermint “necklace” from her friend Tiana, and she absolutely loved it! After wearing it around for a bit she politely asked Charles if she could try a few bites.
Happy weekend!

Love that she gets letters, cards and special treats from her fans. She’s very much loved by all.

when ever I need a “lift” I watch the videos of Zenyatta and how she had such spirit to come from behind. Certainly a lady who very well knew what she was doing.
As they say , you can see it in the eyes.
Sharyn
She is just so beautiful, always love seeing pictures of our Queen!

Dear Sheena,
You must be shopping today. Have a happy Monday and take care of yourself. The furbabies I’ve visited are fine. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
sheena.davies(wales)
Dear Kathy.Shop on a Monday you must be kidding!I am late as per usual.Yet more sad news breaking from Germany last night and I heard about a nightclub shooting in Florida what on earth were 12yr olds doing up so late? The ratties have arrived back and Marty popped up for his Monday post. There was an intruder at the Dyfi just now Blue maybe.Glesni was mantling. They caught 28 fish between them Glesni caught 6 flounder so Tegid is well fed.No news of the burial yet.Theba was missing Joey she just couldn’t understand why a cat who brought so much joy had been taken.Neither do I really.I had no idea Grumpy cat is visiting the UK and shock, horror the sun was out.Such a sad story on Zoe’s page about that little puppy how could they say his wasn’t worth saving.Every life on this planet is precious even the tiniest insect.Gorgeous video of Boo.Have you ever seen “Why is my cat sad”on twitter he has 314,000 followers now and will be 21 this autumn. The book “Close encounters of the furry kind” will be published in the US soon.Tom Cox owns him.He is an ex’s ex Try and work that out on a Monday!Have a good day and remember to turtle.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
Max
Cannot agree about the precious insects. I’d definitely bring out the fog guns for insects who spread Zika, West Nile and Lyme disease.

An X-rated equine tryst has taken place at Willie Mullins famous Closutton stables. The story begins in November 2011 when Harold Kirk purchased Miguel Angel and he was shipped back to Willie. He was put in a field in a field with fillies as he was presumed to be a gelding.A few months later Airlie Beach was putting on quite a bit of weight and subsequently foaled a colt. She has recovered from her traumatic experience and gone on to win twice. The Mullins family would love to see all 3 racing together. Both sire and dam are of a quiet nature but their son is rather mischievious!Needless to say Miguel has now lost his “crown jewels”!A story worthy of the Jeremy Kyle show.Sheena

Dear Max and Z Fans:
Couldn’t find a video of jockey, Corey Lanerie in the Ostrich and Camel races, but I did find this slideshow. Too funny. Note the name of the camel he won on is Drooly Julie and the Ostrich’s name is Ozzie. Love it. Love and Hugs, JB

Max
Enjoyed seeing those pictures. Corey has the right Dettori technique with the ostrich race. He lets the fans know that he’s won. Ozzie is really alert and has the feathered biped will to win. Is he smiling? He reminds me of Frank, who could probably run even better without a rider.
Judy B from Rhode Island
Dear Max:
Yes, Corey should have done the “Unflying” dismount. Have a feeling Frank would have dumped Corey for sure. Love and Hugs, JB

Report: Stradivari Scheduled For Surgery On Tuesday
by Paulick Report Staff | 07.25.2016
Stradivari, the 3-year-old Medaglia d’Oro colt that was injured during a workout July 22, is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday to repair his right front ankle.
The Daily Racing Form reported that the surgery will take place at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga.
The Todd Pletcher trainee suffered a lateral condylar fracture and an axial fracture of a sesamoid in his right foreleg as he was galloping out after a work on Friday.
“Everything appears favorable,” Pletcher told the DRF. “Knock wood, everything has gone as well we could hope.”

Dear Judy.Ceri has been laid to rest on the Dyfi this afternoon.I have sent you a link to Emyr’s blog. There was no infection,no broken bones just some inflammation and bruising to her wing and foot. She simply died from the shock of the fall.We all make decisions in life and she chose to join her mum on the larch perch that night. If only she had stayed in her nest….There will be a new hide on the Dyfi soon and it will be named in her honour. At least we know and I feel better.
Minding has been declared for the Nassau on Saturday Looking forward to seeing her.Keep close to the A/C!Cooler here this week and cloudy in Wales.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley Willow and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX
