      Dear Judy,
      What a really nice slide show, Graydar is a gorgeous son of Unbridled song.
      So many other nice stallions a very nice place for Chrome to set up stallion duty.
      He looks great, so glad he is coming back as a 5 year old, 4 was a real bust and he needs to show us what a great HOY is really is.

    Dear Judy.Thank you for the links.Yes,she is a very beautiful filly and Frankel must indeed be proud of his offspring.I believe Gosden will make a decision about GH on Thursday the ground promises to be good for the arc on sunday.The media were out watching Treve do a final bit of work today before the big race.I was watching a wonderful video of Secretariat earlier when he was about 12yrs old just enjoying life in the paddock.It was a joy to see.Love and hugs SheenaX

    The next important date for California Chrome will be October 1, when the colt is due to be examined by Dr. Larry Bramlage to see if he has fully recovered from the bone bruising that sent him to the farm for rest. Plans call for him to return to racing only when and if he is completely well.

      Thanks so much, BGG! These are wonderful photos. CC is truly an exquisitely gorgeous chestnut, simply stunning! His coat in that first photo is unbelievable! Love the photos of Graydar, too — a beautiful grey is without compare. All the horses shown are so very handsome. Loved seeing them!

      Dear Judy,
      Great article, I just love the Head family and Criquite is really a great trainer so intuitive
      and that is what training is about. So amazing Treve lost 3 races in 2014 and still won the Arc, she had to work out her back and foot problems. Love the end of her article. We know how to shoe her better now- look out everyone her turn of foot is going to blow everyone away !!! She has a good stall number. Intetesting in Racing Post article GH got
      stall 18 Gosden all but said there was a French Conspiracy, too funny. The ground in France is never always firm it will be soft to good at least that is what Criquite said- may the best horse win- Fly Fly Fly Away Treve !!!!

The computer shows what is preserved on the internet, but think what people verbally send into the ethers-and every word frozen in time.

    Dear Kathy.I often wonder what our ancestors would have made of social media and modern society.We were talking about a road rage incident involving someone called Roonie Pickering from Hull yesterday.It’s likely everyone knows him now!If you google him he’s on you-tube.What made me laugh is the woman sitting by his side acting like a dummy!Another glorious day here 17 still in the Arc and GH sure to be supplemented tomorrow.Wonderful article from Judy about Criquette,the family and Treve.The nerves are kicking in now.It was fabulous to see Fubu back to normal yesterday but poor Kimberly wasn’t too good I think it’s all the stress with her Persian prince.
    Red Cadeaux has settled well in Australia never even lost weight travelling has even put on weight since he arrived.I really hope he does well.Aidan has sent War Envoy over for the Shadwell I think and Dutch Connection is already over with you.Did you see Mango’s phone call to Heaven.They are such touching messages and Angel Marie is a definite Kentucky Derby winner now.Poor Wimbley took a wrong turning in Albuquerque and found snow cones!I loved his little hat and we got a message from Marty in Heaben.He needs some milanos.Wookie is doing very well and Dexter is growing huge.James and Bob have had the script for their film/movie!Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.XOXO

      Road rage always makes me shake my head. What are we becoming? Enjoy all the excitement leading up to the Arc. I read the article about Criquette. So knowledgeable and accomplished.       Er Shun will have her babies in October or November.

    And Irish rider Danny Mullins has shown the very best or sportsmanship after miraculously saving rival rider Jody McGarvey from a certain fall during a steeplechase race in Ireland
    McGarvey struck his face on mount Old Supporter after landing heavily and appeared to have been momentarily knocked out as he headed for a dangerous fall.

        What a heroic effort by Danny Mullins to help Jody McGarvey stay on Old Supporter. I hope both horses checked out okay since apparently both were pulled up after this.

      This is wonderful news. So glad to see our horses come home. I know the Japanese are taking very good care of them now and assuring their safety but still like to see them come home. Empire Maker and Tapit at the same farm! Gonna be lots of pretty ladies lined up for dates.

          I think they negotiated the deal as he is the grand sire of TC winner and Japanese were so kind to sell him back to us. Wonder how he did with
          his progeny in Japan was not able to find any information on that.

    RIP Soaring Softly (daughter of Kris S)
    20 year old mare died as the result of a paddock accident. Apparently, she cracked her elbow, and it could not be mended. She was bred to Ghostzapper this year, so sad.
    Condolences to Darby Dan Farm and trainer Mr. Toner.
    Now she soars in the heavenly meadows.

      Apparently I spoke too soon. Things are much more complex in the Panda world. The Canadian vets will not be able to determine if the babies are twins from the same father until they are born. There are 3 possible fathers. One is the other Panda in Toronto. There are two others who are living in China. I am told that the male Panda in Toronto likes to jump off things into snow banks and tumble about in the snow. Luckily for him he’s got access to a lot of it in winter.
      I too have become a Pandaholic. I watch Mei and Bruce each day. I have noticed that Bruce is getting bigger. He’s a lot of work for Mei. She needs breaks.
      Did this horse for young Joe come from Coolmore?

    I had inquired when Fancy had turned 34 at the horse sanctuary. Jackie looked at the paper work and it was this past July 6th. Though belated we decided to have a birthday celebration for Fancy tomorrow before the monthly meeting. Hoping all volunteers come. She will get so much special attention, grooming, treats and a balloon placed at the barn. Pictures will be taken with Fancy and I plan to bring a chunk of partially cooked sweet potato with a small carrot inserted for a birthday candle. Don’t know if she has ever had sweet potato but Z loves them. We will see.
    I can definitely see this year Fancy aging and I truly do not know which one of us may find her passed away when we come to the barn. Her heart could just give out. Then there will be the tough winter months and her arthritis. I guess we just want to show her all the love and support. The birthday cake is for us at the meeting! hah
    Fancy Pants (as I call her) has been up to this time an incredibly healthy and strong mare. She is awesome. I hope A.P. Indy can live as long and definitely my love and yours, Zenyatta!

    Songbird is a daughter of Medaglia d’ Oro and was ridden by our Mikey! He seemed to like her a lot.

    Just a tip for you guys when you bet. 4 out of 5 winners I had at CD were Ramsey horses. Don’t ever over look the Kittens or those bred by Ken Ramsey.

    Dear Max.Mei was AI by her partner Tian-Tian and another panda but Tian-Tian turned to be the father of the boys.Bruce-Bruce is at that very cute stage now.They can be quite addictive.Joe bought the horse at the Goffs sales.The foal is by Holy Roman Emperor didn’t Anne-Marie love breeding from him?I’ll try and find out more tomorrow.Hugs Sheena.Hope you are safe from the storm.

    Dear Kathy.Very wise words for the beginning of a new month.This year has just flown by.I got stuck in a huge traffic jam in one of our main streets this morning.They were preparing to put our Christmas decorations up!I hope Holly is a little better today was it something she ate?.At long last they are taking legal action to get Mr No Ears back!!Andreia keeps posting that he is riddled with cancer and she has “rescued” him.They have shown the vets report several times .He is on meds for his skin condition and that’s all.Well, the clash is on GH has been supplemented for the Arc on sunday and Jack Hobbs will race on Champions day at Ascot.Aidan has Found and Tapestry in the race and Free Eagle is running too.Wales is playing Fiji in the rugby later today.Mango had a lot of sympathy cards and she fell asleep reading them.Wimbley got home and a cute video of them having a snooze.I can’t remember where I saw the lovely video of the dog allowed to chose her own toy.She had never had a toy before so it was extremely touching.Hope you have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

    Wow…Christmas decorations this early is so crazy! The stores want to make sure they get their huge profits. They LOVE getting us thinking about Christmas way early. Holly seems a little better. Her blood test results will be in on Saturday. She has special food to eat and antibiotics. I pray she’ll be okay! I hope they’re successful in getting Mr No Ears back. That poor cat! Enjoy all the coming races and and the rugby matches. People have been so kind to Mango and her family over the loss of Katybug. Glad Wimbley is home safe and sound. He is too cute! I saw that video of the dog choosing her toy. So touching! There is an adorable video of a couple of dogs home alone playing with their ball pitcher. So cute!     Is there no end to these shootings?? 13 have been killed by a lone gunman in Roseburg,Oregon.He has been killed by the police.Don’t know much more breaking news over here.If they couldn’t give up their guns after Sandy Hook they never will!RIP Sheena.
