Friday Photos is back! Today we’re sharing photos Ann took during her stay at Lane’s End. Zenyatta and her paddock mate, Vixana, proudly show off their matching fly masks.
Come back on Monday for Ann’s videos of these girls.
Dear Team Z.Thank you for these priceless photos of Zenyatta and Vixana enjoying “girlie talk”.Spring has sprung and although we will never forget the dark days happiness is here again!Love and hugs SheenaX
It really warms the heart to see Z seemingly accepting the loss of her colt. It’s the humans that are having such a tough time. But Vixana seems like just like the right friend Z needs right now. Kudos to all who put this together.
Zenyatta and Vixana they are so adorable, they look so cute.
The photo with Ann is beautiful, Ann is very beautiful lady, she
looks so young and pretty, thank you dear lady for all your
kindness, big hugs Ingrid.
The girls look so pleased to be together: a real dance of friendship. The photos in the middle would look so neat in time-lapse — adorable. And the one of you and Zenny is stunning.
Love to Zenny & Vixana, to Team Z, to Zenny’s boys and to my Zenster family here.
Z Princess and little one: you are close to my heart always.
Nature can be ugly at times but the gorgeous moments outweigh the bad. Thank you for sharing this. I wish both of these mares the best of luck for the remainder of their lives.
Thank you Mrs. Moss for these lovely photos of two special horses and I love the one of you and Zenyatta – Such an incredible bond. She is a horse for the ages. I am happy to see the smiles.
Dear Peggy.David Broome is one of ours a Welshman who lives in Monmouth. He was a brilliant showjumper and is 76 now.I remember he was engaged to Ann Moore another well-known rider but they split up.One of his most famous horses was Mr Softee but his favourite was Sportsman.I loved watching him on Philco a grey.David won the King George cup on 6 individual horses a record never equalled.Hope Jordan is settling down back home with his doting mum.Love and hugs Sheena
Thank you Ann for sharing your girls with us……just so good to see Zenny and Vixie having a grass klutch…..nothing like girl time to help one through the tough times. Zenny has rebounded from her loss, slowly but surely we will too, although we’ll always remember Z16 and Princess. hugs to all
Dear Judy.Great photos of the girls enjoying life again.New blog about Blue she laid 3 eggs not much nesting material though they used a drone to film the nest,People are asking if they would interfere but no they can’t really. It may cause more problems if they took the eggs Blue may get annoyed and attack Glesni’s chicks. They don’t have the expertise to raise chicks.I know it’s wrong to attach human emotions to animals but I cannot help thinking Monty has played a dirty trick on her.It wasn’t as if Glesni returned late this year and he should know his own partner by now.No signs of Dai today he must have gone off to lick his wounds.Goodnight God bless you,LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX
What are you doing to her, that she lost her baby. If I had the money I would buy Zannny. That’s what I call her. And bring her to LA where she belong not far from her fans.
Zenyatta has fans all across this country not just the West coast, and even more fans all around the world! Legions of fans on every continent, I think — not sure about Antarctica; however, I am pretty sure the penguins would love her, too.
By the way, Lane’s End takes wonderful care of our Queen Z and all of their charges. The Mosses would not have her in any place that was not an excellent facility.
So beautiful to see these two appearing to have become BFF’s! Thank you Ann, I am sure we are all healing much faster. Can’t wait to hear who the next sires will be! How are Coz and Ziconic? I read somewhere Coz is going to try turf? That may be his calling, and maybe another shot with Gary for his little brother?
Aww, Zenny and her BFF look so sweet together. I just read a story on a local news app (WLEX) about a little girl named Tiana from Huntington Beach, California that got to visit Zenny today through the Make A Wish Foundation. She has leukemia and her favorite horse is Zenny. I’d share the link, but I don’t know how. I’m certainly not a high tech redneck! LOL
Dear Judy B.,
Thanks so much for the link! Nice photo. Hope the little girl is successful in her battle with leukemia. Prayers that she gets well soon and stays healthy. I am sure she received some healthy vibes from magical Zenny. Best wishes to her and her family. Kudos to Make-a-Wish — a wonderful organization.
Thank you Ann so much for taking these pictures. I really needed a “lift up” today, and anytime I see Zenyatta related pictures it helps in lifting my spirits up.
You will never know how very much it means, and is appreciated that you and Jerry have always shared Zenyatta’s life with all of us!!!
I hope before I die I will one day get to actually see and touch Zenny in person!

Dear Sheena:
Oh, this really complicates Blue’s being able to feed herself and three chicks. Hope Dai comes back and joins her.
