Alys captured these great shots of Zenyatta enjoying one of many snowy winter days. We shared one on Instagram (follow us @teamzenyatta), but we saved the rest for the weekend.
Thank you for these fabulous photos of our Queen. Just look at that gorgeous coat; are those dapples I see. What a beautiful girl she is. Thank you again. Love and Hugs, JB
Alys and Team Z, I certainly hope you never tire of sending us pictures of our beloved, Zenny. She still gets my heart going faster with each new picture. In the snow, Zenny looks spectacular with those dapples against a white backdrop. Thank you for everything you do for those of us who just can’t get enough of this fabulous “being” as Ann calls her.
Lovely….just lovely….and those dapples!
Kisses for all soft noses….
Big doings at Oaklawn tomorrow…should be 60+ and sunny
The hubby is going without me since i am trapped at rehab..
Grounds justifiable…right?
So blessed to be able to keep up with Big Z’s happenings. I will always thoroughly enjoy everything about her now and always. She’s one of a kind! Hope those boys of hers can make marks of their own in the racing world :))
The second to last pic shows her fabulous tail up flagged, as she runs in the snow. Love it. The four seasons in KY seem to agree with her. Well, we have both her new pregnancy and her first born son’s first race to look forward to. Very exciting.
It’s a great day always to see Zenyatta frolicking in the snow. Zenyatta, do you remember California? – No snow where I am, 85 degrees in Carlsbad. Thank you Lane’s End for the gift of visiting with Zenyatta at her home in Kentucky.
Dear Judy, Had to say Thank You so much for reminding me of Charismatic’s Birthday. March 13. Love Ya Beautiful Boy and hope we can get you home real soon. Have to remember Chris Antley when remembering you. Rest In Peace Chris. Thank You for saving our boy.
Thanks for the friday photos, always such joy to see the Queen being the Queen and having fun especially in the snow which I too tend to like very much. It is always well at Z Nation. LoL to all.
The very first photo reminded me of the time I saw her in the 2010 Apple Blossom, and her habit of “dancing” on the track. What a gorgeous girl! I miss seeing her race but every time I read this blog I’m so thankful she retired sound and healthy, and is living a great life.
Beautiful good morning to you Zenny! What a treat to wake up to you every morning – you always inspire our days. Thank you again, Alys, for these photos – our Queen looks radiant! Many of God’s blessings to you and everyone in your family, Zenyatta
PS Especially looking forward to your CoZ and Ziconic starting their careers
with love, Elizabeth
Such a beautiful sight to see first thing in the morning. Zenyatta is like the sunshine breaking through the clouds on a gloomy day. I am so grateful to you Team Z, Alys and Lane’s End for taking your valuable time to share her with us.
Sending love to her boys, Coz and Zi.
Wishing all Zsters love and hugs,
Maryp
Thinking and talking are so basic to us that we do not realize how they shape our lives. Thought and speech are to us what the hoe and rainfall are to the gardener. We plant a word-seed and cultivate it with our thought.
Our minds and words have to be weeded just as a garden must be cleaned. When a weed is removed there is room for a flower, room for conversation and shared thought that will reseed and bloom until the garden is beautiful. And so we become.
The earth and myself are of one mind.

Dear Kathy,
Love this devotional! The “weeding of the garden” analogy is spot on — many hurt/angry feelings could be avoided if we thought carefully before we spoke. We should all plant flowers and not weeds with our words. This old world could certainly use the seeds of peace everywhere.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Thank you so very much for sharing these wonderful new photos of Zenyatta, our Queen of Racing! Queen of my heart forever!! Against the backdrop of the white pure snow she is simply breathtaking in her beauty and it lifts my heart to see her doing so well. Thank you for continuing to give us these opportunities to have a virtual visit with her and see glimpses of her life in Kentucky. Thanks to Alys for braving the cold to capture Zenyatta’s beauty, but I’ll bet it is a fun thing to do.
Alys and team Z thank you for the pictures of the wonderful Zenyatta. She seems to really enjoy the snow. Happy to see she has some friends in the paddock with her. Wonder if they chatted about their dates with the guys! Guess Zenny said War Front was a little on the small side but he did make beautiful babies.

I watch the weather report for Kentucky just because of The Snow Queen.
Have always wished she could have stayed here in California but seeing
her thrive makes it easier to accept. She is truly a national treasure.
Thank you Mr and Mrs Moss, Lanes End and a special nod to Vic Stauffer,
who was the first one to acclaim her Queen. Thanks Vic.
