It’s nice to see you enjoying he snow, Zenny! If you were here in upstate NY where I live, right now, the snow would be at least up to your knees with the drifts even deeper.
Thank you, Alys for taking these photos: they bring back memories of the fun I had riding my horses in the snow when I was younger.
Carol in AK, I am thinking about you & your surgery and am keeping you in my prayers. My recovery is going slower that I had hoped, but I am healing slowly but surely.
Happy Birthday, Wise Dan! I hope to see you at Saratoga later this year!
Thank you for the photos. Zenyatta looks as happy and healthy as always. Looks like she has lost some weight and is ready to go visit War Front in March (?) or April (?).
My horses are starting to shed already due to the unusually warm weather this winter. My Daffodils and some other bulbs that should not bloom until toward the end of March are already blooming as well as my yellow and purple plum trees and flowering cherry trees. Hope we do not get a unexpected freeze now..
Zenny, you still love the camera, don’t you. If one is in sight you’re off to check it out. Have you had a date with WF, yet?
Thanks Team Z for these lovely photos. Seeing the Queen just brings smiles to all who see her.
Zenny, I just love you! You look beautiful and healthy, and happy to be out in the snow.
Looking at these pix makes me smile.
The snow farms in and around Boston are astonishing — as they continue to clear streets and intersections, the piles in the “farms” are quickly turning into mountains. This snow won’t be gone until May! Have never seen anything like it – more than 7 feet in a month.
If I could ride Queen Z down our snowy side streets I would be tall enough to see what’s going on. Now there’s a thought…me riding the Queen herself! I’ll ask Mike for the pink bowtie!
King Solomon said that where the tree falls, there it lies. It is done, and we will not raise it up again. But it is what we do from this point forward that makes a difference.
Something that seemed so sure turns questionable, and something for which we had little hope suddenly works out. Regardless of how things appear, they can be totally different-and it is what we do from now on that will make or break us. Moving on does not mean we do not care, it means we will not let it keep us from living fully.
Tribe follows tribe, and nation follows nation, like the waves of the sea. It is the order of nature, and regret is useless.

We can feel the love and excitement in all these posts. Zenny is still an inspiration to all of us! Alys, thank you for these latest photos and to the Mosses, thank you for continuing to bless us with yet another look into our Queen’s life.
Thanks Alys for the pictures. Glad to see Zenny has some girl pals in the pasture with her. Wonder if she has discussed her date with War Front with them?
My heart always sings when there are new photos of Zenyatta to enjoy on this site and today is no exception! Thank you so much, Alys, for sharing these great pictures of our Queen in the snow. We are so very blessed by Team Z for continuing to share these glimpses into the life of the horse we care for so much. With gratitude I will repeat – thank you!!
Dear Kathy.I have just been on Hovis’page but no more news yet.He tore one of his bandages last night I am sure his parentage was called into question!!!Z looks so beautiful in the snow I,too, wonder if she has visited WF yet.Ryan Moore is back here with a winner I just hope Sire de Grugy does well all that weight and heavy ground he will get tired and only 17 days to the festival!! Lovely dog rescue in Massachusetts I had to laugh I thought they were in the artic!Gosh,it’s been dreadful there. Not a bad day here but the wet and windies will return tomorrow!Mango had a lovely visit and met a world war II veteran.I loved the list Judy wrote about her she’s like me not a morning person!Well I used to be but no more!Loki is happy today mama is home and despite her having a late night he woke her at 5.45am.(that was late for my Katie!!)he’s feeling very good today eating well and playful.Rasco was taking a look at Marty’s spaceship that was a huge adventure looking for Planet yogie!Wonder about the Oscars on sunday the Brits have a good chance!I’d be happy with the goodie bag!Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.
Poor Hovis. They sure did a hack job on his feathers! Yes, Zenyatta is gorgeous as always. I would bet she has already visited WF. We wait for confirmation that she is in foal. Fingers crossed that all goes well for Sire de Grugy. It’s unbelievable how much snow they have in Massachusetts. Too bad we can’t get some of it in the Sierra Nevada range here in the west. That’s great that Mango met a WWII vet. We owe so much to each of them. I’m a morning person. Would prefer to go into work earlier and get off earlier. Would love to get off at 5 or 6 instead of 7:00. Glad Loki is happy and doing so well. My three get up early no matter what day it is. Those furbabies definitely have a schedule to keep! Enjoying all the ratties. Love the space adventures! Looking forward to the Oscars on Sunday. Always enjoy seeing all the gorgeous gowns, too! Have a wonderful day. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.
Great round of jumping by Sire de Grugy at Chepstow despite carrying top weight and heavy ground he ran out an easy winner!Cheltenham here we come!!Sire’s on fire!Sheena.
Zenny – ‘always’ the smart woman – never far from breakfast this morning. Looks tempting as I see there was a line from the right. If I were betting, I’d say you got there first. But then again, you’re so kind, you’re probably waiting for them to finish before you snack. Beautiful as always – snow Queen. Thank you Alys again for the lovely photo. Many of God’s blessings to you, Zenyatta and your 2 boys and everyone in your human family. with love – Elizabeth
