Has anyone heard anything about the filly’s club foot? I noticed in the last blog they avoid showing the feet. I’m just curious. She’s so cute and I hope she can run.

The first one was the email I received from Mike Smith replying to my email & thanking me for the one I sent him to tell him how sorry I am to hear about Songbird. OMG 30(05) from Rutland is certainly in a hurry she has travelled over 1891 miles since she began her migration last sunday at 11 am today she was just north of the Atlas mountains.She was blown off course a little crossing the straits of Gibraltar but soon corrected herself.She now faces the most difficult part of her journey the Western Sahara but at 12yrs old she is very experienced.You go girl!!

Going back to the race Gun Runner finished with a horseshoe in his tail, could that possibly been an unfortunate thing to happen? If that shoe had bounced just right it could have damaged a leg, perhaps a hock? After that race everyone was making light of it but it occurred to me it could have ended badly! Just relieved he is okay and he ran a very impressive race yesterday!
