Ann’s recent trip to Lane’s End was all smiles as old friends were reunited. Mario and Carmen, who both worked with Zenyatta at Barn 55, joined Ann and got to meet Zenyatta’s 2017 Medaglia d’Oro filly. Scroll down for lots of photos.

I am so thrilled to see Ann, Mario, and Carmen with Zenyatta and her sweet MDO’ro filly. Just what I needed, totally made my day. Z always knows how to deliver that smile on our faces, and to all who visit her. She is just super special, you can really see her connection to those who cared for her all those years, they have strengthened their bond, I know it means the world to her, too. I am sure she was so proud to introduce them to her beautiful filly, so sweet and full of life. Thanks again for including all of us on this very special day. My heart is full.

Ok everyone, let’s all get in single file and scratch each other’s backs. What fantastic photos of Zenny’s extended family who adore her and she them. She really seemed excited to see Mario and Carmen. Even little Z joined in and enjoyed herself. Sweet seeing Mario with his Big Girl he misses still I’m sure. Grateful tears Team Z and a special thanks to Ann we love as well.

So glorious.!! Zenny and her filly are so happy. Of course she remembers Mario and Carmen. They were her whole life for years. They were with her every day at barn 55. What happiness to Ann and to them all. How lovely that Ann brought Zenny this wonderful gift. She is truly happy. I think that “Zenyatta” is a magical word that means JOY!!!
