Q:
What is Zenyatta and Baby Z’s daily routine at Lane’s End?
Haley Van Vleck
Lawrence, KS
A:Currently their routine is pretty simple—they are out in the evenings when the weather is cooler. They come in in the morning to get checked over. We check their eyes, take their temperature, check that he’s nursing and that they’re both happy and have no cuts or bumps from the night before. They get their food in the morning. 12Z is now three months of age so he gets feed of his own, and Zenyatta will have her feed after him. They stay in their stall during the day, where they have fans on them to keep them cool in this heat. They go out again around two o’clock in the afternoon and play all night!
Expert: Charles Campbell
See Charles’s response on video:
Q:
How long do Zenyatta & 12Z sleep, and do they sleep together at the same time? Also, is there anything Zenyatta doesn’t like?
Jan Stein
Cypress, TX
A:In the mornings they do sleep together. 12Z sleeps most of the day when he’s in his stall, but when he’s out he’s always playing with his buddies and grazing with mom.
Zenyatta is a very easy going horse, but she does seriously dislike flies. We use a fly mask and fly spray to keep her happy.

First to Karen Gogue: thanks for the IHA/TVG video link! Watching it all in person I had no idea Mario and Todd Schrupp (sp?) were talking back and forth. I will make sure to tell Rod in the morning.
signofthetimes and Shirlee in Indy: thanks for the radio link–love racing radio shows! (After all, I’m Anne from Paramount to all the local screeners–LOL. They do not take callers so much anymore–more emailers now. Oh well….I had my fifteen minutes and then some.. not complaining!)
Ann (w/o the “e”): enjoyed your July 6 comment on dreaming of (not) seeing Terry Crow! I do know what he looks like, but promised him I would not tell! (LOL–how is your wonderful sense of humor, oh Chief of the Rednecks? Bowing down now, as they do to the Chairman on Iron Chef America.:-) )
And again to signofthetimes: thanks for the link to guest column by Paul Reddam. Worth reading for sure.
Darlene Daniels, enjoyed your Secretariat/ earring story…and thanks to you and Judy Berube for your comments. :-)
Sleep tight Our Queen and not so small Baby! Be cool everyone!! Supposed to heat up this week in SoCal.
All: keep those horse stories coming, enjoy ’em!

@Anne from Paramount and @ Shirlee from Indy,
Anne, thanks for the kudos, but I must be honest and give kudos where kudos are due. It was Shirlee from Indy that had the story about Secretariot and the earrings. And to that story I say, OUCH!
@Shirlee in Indy,
Do you mind sharing what part of Indy you are from. I am north of Kokomo, in Bunker Hill. It is always fun for me to find Zenyatta lovers near by me.

BRAVO , I’LL HAVE ANOTHER! We were at Hollywood Park on Saturday to see I’ll Have Another for the last time. Unfortunate that he will not stand here — after all, he is a National Treasure!
He looked like a bronze equine god as he was paraded in the paddock. As they led him to the track, I dashed through the tunnel for “Authorized Personnel Only — Stewards and Jockeys Only” arriving in the winner’s circle to be in good position for photos. He was clearly on the muscle.
My favorite personal memory will always be my visit to his Hollywood Park barn on June 17. We arrived after he had been put back in his stall for the morning. Doug O’Neill asked if we would like to have them bring him out for photos. When his groom brought him out, Doug asked if I would like to hold his lead. Needless to say it was the first time I have ever held the lead of a Santa Anita Derby, KY Derby and Preakness winner. I will always treasure those photos and that memory.
Terry Crow GP
Sounds like you had a great time. Don’t forget Lava Man, a three-time winner of the Gold Cup and a two-time winner of the Santa Anita Handicap. No horse has won more.

We always visit Lava Man when on the HP backside — he is one of my heros.

Thank you for your post on IHA. He really did seem fit and feisty in the video Karen G. posted. Will miss him too. Hugs, JB

Dear Kennedys, How lucky you are. I would have loved to have seen IHA and was looking forward to visiting him in November but, sadly, that will not happen. Your description of him as a bronze equine god is beautiful and I thought he looked magnificent on my tele at his farewell appearance.

WOW, what a great experience. So surprised he is still on the muscle.
Guess he needs to be let down some more.
Would love to see your photos !!!!

@Sharon in Atlanta and JAG-I finally received an answer to my e-mail about Z and John Henry having races named after them. Basically more of the same stuff that has been disseminated before. “The man” mentioned that he had received several e-mails about this subject and that SA management would be taking the matter up before the meeting just prior to the BC. I intend to keep sending stuff to him until we get a reason why. Maybe they are waiting for the Z statue to be unveiled before they make the announcement. Of course, John’s statue is already there.
SharonAtlanta
Terry, thanks for trying. Sounds like a run-around to me, but I guess we’ll just see wht happens, if anything. At least she’s being honored with the statue.
Terry Crow GP
As a matter of fact, “the guy” prefaced his reply with the fact that it probably sounded like a run-around but assurred me he was woking on it. We’ll see.
L♥VE Auntie Judy aka JAG / Southern CA
Hi Terry!
I met “The Guy” again at O’Neill’s barn on Saturday. I reintroduced myself (as I had done earlier this year at SA), and asked about the John Henry Stakes race. He gave me his business card – Mark Verge, CEO – and asked me to drop him an email… been on my to-do list for a while! I get side tracked with other horsey stuff. I will send him that email.
Let keep our fingers and toes crossed that SA comes through for both Greats: JOHN HENRY ♥ and ZENYATTA ♥!
Auntie JAG missed you Terry on Saturday!
Terry Crow GP
JAG-I will keep bombarding him with emails until we get this resolved, one way or the other. Stronach supposedly hired this “guy” to interact ahd deal with the fans, Well, he has a bunch of fanatics on his hands now.

We’d bed the farm (if we had one) that sooner or later The Queen will have a race named after her. The statue in itself is a huge honor and the Mosses must be very proud to have her grand likeness in a forever place at SA.

I must have gotten tired towards the end. Yes, Wisconsin. Thank you, Sandy.

I agree, Terry, there should be a lot more. I, for one, feel honored to be in the redneck club.

And I’m proud of it, Terry!

Terry: Do we have the first recipient of the Golden Outhouse Award yet? I haven’t submitted an entry, but I’m working on it!
Terry Crow GP
I have been working on the details. The jokes will be graded on a scale of 1 to 5. Once an individual has accumulated five points, an Order of the Golden Outhouse certificate will be awarded. When an individual submits a joke which is designated as an entry, the chapter presidents will vote on the number of points appropriate. So far, no entries.
Rosemary McCauley - Pres/AZ/New Mexico RNC
Well, I’m working on entries. Several posts ago I thought I would introduce a new category and posted a couple of redneck lawyer jokes. Acceptable category? Unacceptable category?
Terry Crow GP
As far as I am concerned, nothing is sacred.
Debbie G/Kentucky
I’ve got some good puns, Terry, but they’re not really redneck puns. I’ll go ahead and submit them anyway. I’ll work on it tomorrow when I have more time.

Well Thank You Terry you are indeed a Grand Grand Pooba.
I am sorry for not responding sooner it is almost 8pm here on the east coast. I am still so busy taking care of my dog and debugging my house. That ringworm is one nasty fungus to get rid of. I have done over 30 loads of laundry in 14 days. If I am not vacuuming or doing laundry I am dabbing foot cream on the dog. Plus I still have another week and a half of medication to take and the medicine is very strong. It makes you drowsy. I hope by the 21st we are back to normal and bug or really fungus free. They have the nerve to put one of those no alcohol with this Px on the bottle. Really after all of this right…
The list of members is growing. It’s nice to see so many states with members. Besides getting to see Z and give her a kiss I would like to someday meet all of my brothers and sisters that belong to the REDNECK CLUB. If they could just have the BC in Florida I could probable meet most of you. Maybe when I retire or meet a nice man with a good job I can start to travel. Canada could be a stretch but I will try.
Thanks again Terry
Terry Crow GP
Gulfstream would be a great place for the BC. I did make a few mistakes, such as not listing Indiana and not labeling Wisconsin. I would love to meet you. However, I do not qualify as I do not have a job. I sincerely hope that all members of the Redneck Club will meet some day. I don’t know of a more friendly and congenial bunch.

With all of her connections and Big and Little Woodrow’s, you should definately accept Jan.
How about it Jan????
Terry Crow GP
That is a terrfific idea. However, I know what your motive is. That would make Texas the number one chapter as far as number of members. Next time I see a post from Jan, I will ask her. She would have to agree to be a member.

Hi All,
Terry, first to you, wow while reading your list I was worried that somehow Sally B and I had been “—- canned” from this illustrious group. Thank you for not forgetting us toothless old nags up here in frozen tundra land.!!
I’ve been “on vacation” ???, that is, the grandkids came for a week!! OMG, between the waterparks, tubing down the Wisconsin river, swimming every day, not to mention getting home late and cooking dinner every nite I’M EXHAUSTED!! I lost five pounds, course it was all in the wrong places, but hey, I’ll take what I can get. We had a ball, but since it was so HOT (we had two days of over 100) I look like a shriveled raisin (used to look like a shriveled prune but I’ve progressed). I don’t regret a moment however.
To get caught up:
So sorry to hear about UR and Princess Arabella, it’s so disappointing to hear they’re out for a year possibly permanently, when you fall in love with these horses.
I am sick about IHA leaving, I don’t think there is any excuse, Japan keeps buying all our fabulous horses, Charismatic is still over there too, When will people wake up here, look what Sunday Silence turned into at stud!!!
Congratulations to the magnificent Holy Bull on his retirement, I hope he has many years of happy days left. Hope I can meet him someday.
Love the pics of EARnie and friend, they look like a couple of little devils just looking for trouble. Mama Zen must be tearing her mane out at times. LE is the best for keeping us in the loop. Love you all!
Kisses on noses Zen and EARnie, love Auntie Sue

Well, I did mess up the mention of Wisconsin a tad. I will state for the record that you and Sally are two of our most illustrious members. Glad you had a good time with the kids. However, I would advise against taking up the pogo stick.
Brenda S..Ontario, Canada
I thought you all would like to know that IHA made the news on the Canadian Broadcasting channel this morning. Apparently Mr. R got $10 million for him when the best offer he got for him to stand in North America was less than $5 million.
I loved the story about Secretariat and the earring, I would have happily given him mine if I’d only known he liked earrings. Danzig liked my silver belt buckle on one of my visits to Claiborne.
The Prince of Wales race will be run at Fort Erie on Sunday. The Queen’s Plate winner, Strait of Dover, is not entered, the second year this has happened, just like Inglorious last year. So, no Triple Crown in Canada in 2012.
judy berube from Rhode Island
Dear Brenda S.:
Too bad Mr. Reddham wouldn’t go for the under “$5million” he could have gotten if IHA stayed in the States. If IHA turns out to be a wonderful sire of champions, Mr. Reddham will have made the wrong decision. We’ll have to wait and see. That’s what happened with Sunday Silence. Hugs, JB
Marilu V
Hi Judy:
The link about IHA gave us some answers. I only wish Mr. Reddam did not make such a quick decision. It’s not like there is no stall for IHA in Barn 63. I am sure Doug would have wanted IHA around for as all as he could. I wonder how he feels about saying good bye to IHA? Hard to believe no American Farms gave IHA the importance and recognition he deserved. I cannot understand this part at all.
Bless the owners of Big Red Farm for appreciating the value of IHA. I am happy he is going there. It shows how much they respect IHA. As you mentioned, Sunday Silence is doing well and treated very well at Big Red Farm. I am sure IHA will get the same treatment and attention! Hugs, Marilu

Dear Marilu and Z Fans:
It’s all about money. It is a business, but I think our Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, I’ll Have Another, should have been given the chance to stay in Kentucky at stud.
Sunday Silence turned out to be a Sire of Champions and commanded six figure stud fees. His connections, no doubt, regretted their decision to sell him to Japan. Here’s an interesting link on Sunday Silence. Enjoy. Hugs, JB

Judy B. Interesting article on Sunday Sielnce. He produced some beautiful offspring. I liked the white horse, Yuki Chan, especially.
Terry Crow GP
Judy-When you come down to it, somebody who has a lot of money already should make a principled decision. What’s five millon when you are talking about these figures? If IHA had proven successfull in Kentucky, the money would come. Ah, Sunday Silence. He was a great horse and had quite a rivalry with Easy Goer.
The Kennedys in San Diego
Thank you, Judy, for posting the Sunday Silence article. I always loved him and his fiesty escapes while racing. He was quite studdish as a three year old even trying to mount his lead ponies.
We were saddened by his early death in 2002. His passing was the impetus for Shadai acquiring War Emblem — they saw another almost black, fiesty horse as a replacement for Sunday. However, War Emblem’s stallion career to date has been troubled. War Emblem was the horse who aroused my passion for Thoroughbreds when he won the 2002 KY Derby and Preakness and then trained closeby at Del Mar that summer.
Max
The Kennedys. Have you heard how War Emblem is doing? For a while there it looked like he had taken a vow of celibacy? He is a great horse. He reminds me of Dynaformer for feisty spirit.

Dear Judy,
Thanks for the wonderful link on Sunday Silence.
I love to watch the races of him and Easy Goer, what a competition always down to the wire.
judy berube from Rhode Island
Dear Marilu, Max, Terry C., The Kennedy’s and Sign:
Yes, I’ll Have Another should have been given the chance to prove himself here at home. He’s a special horse who won two Triple Crown races very impressively. I hope he turns out to be a successful Sire in Japan, much like Sunday Silence. Those races between SS and Easy Goer are classics. Hugs, JB

Brenda-What is the latest on the Canadian race trtacks?
Brenda S..Ontario, Canada, President RNC, Canada
Hi Terry, I’ve not heard or seen much in the last couple of weeks and, of course, those highly paid politicians are on their summer break. They have longer holidays than the school kids. There may be a bit more news over the weekend since the Prince of Wales is being run on Sunday and it will definitely be the last time it will be run in Fort Erie unless some dramatic change occurs.
Max
Terry and Brenda. This recent article deals with the issue. Looks like uncertainty is already causing problems. Hoping that Woodbine at least gets saved. They should keep Fort Erie open too. It is an historic track. Great horses have raced there.

Max-THanks so much for this link. I did not realize that the problem had to do with slot machines. I know the politicians in the US are BAD, but this takes the cake. If their position continues to be as it is, a lot of lives in Ontario will be affected.
Terry Crow GP
Hard to believe that things have gotten to this point. Don’t you love politicians? What do they need a vacation for?
Barbara Wood (Texas)
Love all the accounts from those fortunate enough to have seen IHA. He is so beautiful. In the Derby, he was just one of the huge field, but he is absolutely gorgeous. It pains me for the USA to lose him.
Hope the heat wave in the East us gone–it appears to be, at least for now.

Undefeated Princess Arabella Retired
by Esther Marr The Blood-Horse
Date Posted: 4/19/2012 1:12:16 PM
Last Updated: 4/21/2012 3:00:17 PM
Undefeated Princess Arabella, decisive winner of the Sunland Park Oaks, will not advance to the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) at Churchill Downs. The daughter of Any Given Saturday will instead be retired due to an inflamed tendon, according to trainer Bob Baffert.
Owned by John Fort’s Peachtree Stable, Princess Arabella has won three times in as many starts. She broke her maiden by 3 1/2 lengths at Santa Anita Park in December, followed by 3 1/2-length allowance win at the California track Feb. 12. The chestnut filly rolled to an impressive eight-length victory in the Sunland Park Oaks, which was her most recent start.
“She has a small, soft tissue injury that was going to need six to seven months off, and with a filly of that value, you don’t want to take the risk (of putting her back in training),” Baffert said during an interview on HRTV April 19. “It’s a shame because she was such a brilliant filly, and it’s a big blow to the Baffert barn because it’s a freaky thing when you get a horse like that.”

So sad about UR, guess Hansen might outshine him again this year.
But oh what will happen to them at 4yo???

Good question. If the injury to Union Rags is not resolved by early next year, he will probably go to stud as a matter of timing for the breeding season. My opinion, I know not of any statement issued, is that Hansen will continue to race. At least, I hope so.

So sad about Union Rags. But at least we know he is loved and will be well taken care of and may return. and if not. will at least stay here in the United States, unlike someone else we all love. God’s speed to Union Rags.
Is it just me, or does it seem to anyone else, this has been such an emotional up and down racing season?
Barbara Wood (Texas)
I agree with you, Darlene. It seems that lately the prize has gone to “the last man (or girl) stnading” because of so many injuries. Do wish the very best for Union Rags. We know he is loved and will be taken care of.
Terry Crow GP
Agree about Union Rags, a real shame. I do believe that the owner will race him next year if possible. At least we still have Hansen.

I hope you all can stand one more comment about I’ll Have Another. I thought I understood about his situation. I wasn’t happy that he was leaving our country, but thought I understood. Then came his owner’s explanation and I got really confused. I believe it was when IHA was retired, Mr. Reddam said he wasn’t into the breeding part of racing, so if figured IHA would be sold. When that announcement was made, I wasn’t surprised. I’ve never been concerned about how IHA will be treated in Japan, it’s just that he’s an American champion and he will be out of sight. But when Mr. Reddam said IHA will get better quality mares because of his high stud fee and he hopes to buy a few of them to bring to Calif. to foal, that’s when I got confused. He’s not into the breeding aspect, so he said, so what’s that about? How much is he going to pay for these mares and what’s going to become of them and the foals after they’re born? I am really perplexed and concerned. It’s like trying to have it two ways, or something. As I said, I’m confused.
The Kennedys in San Diego
Agree, Marty. I was following Reddam’s decision trail until he said he hoped to buy a few mares in foal to IHA and bring them to CA to foal as Calbreds. Reddam had previously stated he was not interested in the Thoroughbred breeding business. So, he sells his prized colt to buy mares in foal. Perhaps someone can explain the inconsistency.
Marilu V
Hi Kennedy’s! I totally agree. His reasons are inconsistent with his original statement that he is not into breeding. Totally sad but happy for IHA because he will be treated like a King in Japan. Marilu

Probably a bunch of rhetoric to try and change the publics view of his
CASH CALL SELF !!!!
Terry Crow GP
The whole thing is quite simple. Reddam received a cash call. Interesting that he would exploit the Cal bred angle.
The Kennedys in San Diego
Agree, Terry. He should have stopped short of that non sequitur.
signofthetimes; President Texas Chapter RNC
Oh yes and the newspaper articles say tendonitis for IHA and does Mr. Redham
make up the fact that he has a TENDON TEAR ????? OF COURSE.
carol in utah
Could be that the “standing of a stallion” is not his thing…requires facilities he may not have…
Marilu V
Carol: I saw his brief interview on TV with Doug after they announced IHA had the injury. Mr. Reddam was asked about breeding. He said he is not into breeding. Marilu

Alex Brown tweeted a post on Facebook–Union Rags Update
Full presser from Dr. Kathy Anderson, re: Union Rag’s injury:
Union Rags presented Tuesday 7/10/12 with mild filling of his left forelimb after returning to exercise following his work on 7/6/11.
Although he was 100% sound, ultrasound examination revealed a small lesion of his high suspensory that appeared to be brand new indicating the injury likely occurred during his last work.
The prognosis for full return to racing is excellent and he is scheduled to undergo treatment and therapy immediately with the goal of keeping his options open for 2013. Needless to say his owners, trainer and allconnections are extremely disappointed with this turn of events but we believe that this early diagnosisand treatment combined with rest will ultimately favor his full recovery and future success.
Terry Crow GP
Great news, Keta. Thank you.

So hope to see UR next yr!!! Peace & Happiness

I wonder if there are that many more injuries now or if they are just being more open about them and not running horses with minor injuries. I think in the past they would have kept running these horses but with the public and media scrutiny they are being careful.
I do feel that Matz and the owner would only do what is best for UR.
Stay sound Hansen.
LauraJ (Cincinnati OH)
I doubt there are more injuries, but there is a lot more diagnosis. In days of youre, there were no portable X-ray machines or ultrasounds. Trainers’ best option was basically “he seems to be sore; put some liniment on it and stick him in a stall for a while.” Either the problem would clear up or it would not.
Terry Crow GP
Excellent analysis, LauraJ.

THOSE PORTABLE X-RAY AND HIGH QUALITY ULTRASOUND MACHINES,
HAVE REALLY ALLOWED DETECTION OF INJURIES BEFORE VERY VISIBLE

N.Y. Times: Records show I’ll Have Another had history of ailments
by Paulick Report Staff | 07.11.2012 | 7:02am
According to an article in today’s New York Times, I’ll Have Another had various physical ailments that his connections were dealing with well before he was withdrawn from the Belmont Stakes (gr. I) on the eve of the race. He was being treated with painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs even as excitement built for his bid at racing history.
Times’ writers Joe Drape and Walt Bogdanich were able to obtain veterinary records from the New York State racing authorities, which showed I’ll Have Another’s front ankles and knees were X-rayed only four days after his triumph May 19 in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I), the second leg of the Triple Crown. Those X-rays revealed that he had osteoarthritis.
Then, just two days before the Belmont, the colt was injected with what the Times writers described as two powerful painkillers as well as a synthetic joint fluid.
New York authorities had access to the records only because they insisted that O’Neill, who has had repeated drug violations, provide them if they were going to license him in New York for the race.
Foster Northrop, a racetrack practitioner who also serves as a member of the Kentukcy Horse Racing Commission and is vice chairman of the American Association of Equine Practitioners Racing Committee, called osteoarthritis a very common condition in both horses and people. “It simply means inflammation of the joints,” he said. “It could be bony changes or soft tissue or just the synovial lining. It’s a word that sounds horrific but in reality, it’s something we all deal with every day.”
Northrop specifically took issue with the term “powerful painkillers” used in the New York Times story. The Times did not name the drugs that were used.
“Powerful painkillers are not legal two days out in New York or Kentucky or Louisiana or Florida,” Northrop told the Paulick Report. “I can’t speak for states i don’t work in. That is a gross misrepresentation of the word. They were probably anti-inflammatories like Bute or Banamine. The joint fluid was most likely Legend, produced by Bayer. It’s a hyaluronic acid, completely safe, and it’s been proven there is no downside to its use. It’s been documented that it makes the joints healthier and it will not mask pain.
“The science is incredible,” said Northrop. “The liver acts to store certain products that are beneficial to joints, and when joints need something it signals the liver and and the liver delivers it. Sometimes the liver can’t keep up, which is why we give a synthetic hyaluronic flud.
“If f there is an uneasiness over the use of these types of beneficial products, it’s because of misuse of inflammatory labels by some media people that misrepresent what the drug is.”

Horse racing: Records show I’ll Have Another’s ailments were not new

Sounds to me like he should not have run in the Preakness. This is all typical posterior covering stuff.

The prince and his buddy are playing.
The black and white one he looks so much like mini Z those eyes.

Sue. Stunning shot of Baby Z. Thanks for pointing that out.

Dear Sue:
Thank you for pointing out the new photos of Prince. You’re so right, he has the look of Zenyatta so much in that black and white photo. Can you imagine how magnificent looking he will be as a three year old! Beautiful Boy. Hugs, JB

Judy,
I am so crazy about this little guy now, I think I am going to have to start taking my vitamins regularly, doing yoga, and walking miles to keep up with all the excitement that is coming with him in 2015. How exciting and fun!

Dear Darlene:
Me too. Want to be around to see him as a three year old. Hugs, JB

Sue,
I love the black and white. His blaze is turning into a perfect diamond. His expression in that photo looks as if he is thinking “Yeah I’m one hot dude and I know it”

Dear Max:
Thank you for the link on BC. Poor Saloon. Hope he finds another friend. Hugs, JB
Max
Judy B. Poor Saloon. He is unlikely to find another Nelly. It looks like she is going for a different type. This Voila Ici seems to be a handsome gray.
Terry Crow GP
She’s looking for more salon than saloon.
Max
Terry C. You could be right. VI looks like an aristocrat. He also is no competition for BC in her career because he races over a much longer distance. He has been described as tough as nails and “a stayer.” However, as Keta notes, there is yet another potential boyfriend in the background. It is not easy to keep up with Nelly on or off the track.
Ann
Keep em guessing Nelly girl!!

Dear Max:
Must say Viola Ici is quite impressive. I guess BC’s kind of fickle! Hope Saloon finds another sweetie. Hugs,JB

Dear Max,
Love this story, hope they don’t have an accident. He is a mighty fine looking stallion.
And looks quite fiesty almost rearing up.
Max
Sign. Feisty indeed as this was just after a 30 hour flight. He has Danzig in his pedigree. Danzig was always intense.
Other news on this is that Nelly resisted his friendship at first because she was loyal to Saloon and missing him as they had been inseparable at Ascot, but she was gradually won over on the trip home. Those grays can be very charming. Look at Tapit.
signofthetimes; President Texas Chapter RNC
GREAT ROMANTIC STORY MAX.
OH YES TAPIT IS ONE VERY HANDSOME GUY.
HIS PRODIGY HAVE MADE MORE MONEY THAN BERNIES, TOO.

I quess I would probably pick an Italian Stallion over a Saloon dude too. Go with your heart Black Caviar!

Here are today’s redneck jokes. You might be a redneck if your Uncle Bob dies as a result of peeing on an electrical fence. Actually, I like that one better if you substitute Aunt Betty. You might be a redneck if you husband chews the same brand of tobacco as your mother-in-law. You might be a redneck if you get your daily amount of fiber from toothpicks. You might be a redneck if you played pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey and had four teeth knocked out. You might be a redneck if, after you kids’ slumber party, the dog has fleas. You might be a redneck if there are engine parts on your coffee table. You might be a redneck if any of your children are the result of a conjugal visit.

These are good ones again, Terry. Can’t remember engine parts on a coffee table, but various and assorted tools on the dining room table are quite common.

You may very well be right, Andrea. The difference is that I will believe whatever UR’s connections say, unlike the cloud over IHA.

Nothing is ever certain. Last year Pool Play, a 7 year old who is owned by LE’s Bill Farish, won the prestigious Stephen Foster, but sustained an injury. Now he’s back in action at Woodbine a year later and racing against warriors like Musketier who is 10! Hope Rags recovers and returns too.
