Good Morning Everyone!
Today is Sunday…a great day that is part of the weekend! I am just beginning to learn what the term ‘weekend’ means to many people. I usually had my biggest races on Saturday or Sunday….so as an athlete…these were BIG WORK DAYS for ME! Now I am learning that for many people…they are DAYS TO RELAX and ENJOY FAMILY and FRIENDS.
One concept I’ve heard of is BRUNCH. I’ve been out playing for a bit this morning…..and had a great idea. I thought…WHY DON’T WE ALL HAVE BRUNCH TOGETHER. So, as I’m back in my stall for a bit…munching away on my PEARS (a great snack that I am very, very fond of these days)…I thought this would be fun! Watch me!
So…PLEASE JOIN ME FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH! Click Here
I hope you enjoy the videos.
Happy Sunday!
With Love,
Hugs to ALL~

Wow Queen, those pears sound delicious!!!
I enjoyed having “brunch” with you today. Were you rolling around in the dirt today? You look like it from your photo. Wish I were there to see you!!

Don’t worry. Horses are like little kids. What one
Wants the other wants. It just takessome time to get
To all of them. If you ever get a chance go to
A barn during feeding time. The whole barn goes
Crazy at the same time. It is pretty funny!!!!!
Sherpa
LOL! In future, Sarah may want to consider cutting up the pear in bite-size chunks and bringing it in on a plate!
Holly Zemba
Looks delicious.
Roseann
Yum to the pears! Did you know that you can shred pears and add them to oats, molasses and a wee bit water, bake for about 8 to 10 minutes and they make a wonderful cookie ball :)! Hmmmmmmmmm!! Enjoyed the Sunday brunch Z, have a blessed week to all.

P.S. Shredded apples and carrots are also good that way :)

What a joy it is to watch such a sweet creature. Zeny, you are a loving and kind animal. You definitely have made the world a better place. Namaste.

To borrow a word from Queen Z (and Dottie), that was just FABULOUS!! Made my day!! My horses now have another new treat to try. Never thought of pears. Sweet potatoes are now a regular thing that they just love. Try an orange for Zenny, Sunkist or Clementines (Cuties are the best) to see if she likes them. One of my mares can smell them from across the barn and starts nickering loudly.
Thank you! I’d spend brunch with you any day, dear heart. How fun!!

Yummy yummy! Happy to see you still being spoiled and pampered:). You deserve it! xoxo Also congratulation to your loved ones at barn 55 and home in CA. Mr Commons and Makomo….well done. Anxious to see what’s next for both! But…nothing will compare to the joy of seeing you with your first foal. Happy and healthy.

Forgot to mention each horse has their own pre
Feeding behavior. Some go round and round in their stalls some Nicker
Some whinny some shake their feed bucket some paw
The ground or shake their head up and down all in anticipation
Of food. It is quite an education on horse behavior at
Meal time. It is also so very cute .
@Sherpa. I think Z likes her fruit or vegetables whole and
Not cut up. My TB took very tiny bites out of his apples like
A dainty girl. He was a very masculine 17 hand gelding.

Z, I know how much you love ears on certain horses. Have to tell you that your ears are the cutest I’ve ever seen on a horse!!!! I never knew horses eat pears!!! I thought they ate apples!!!!
Love you, Zenyatta–always will!!!!
Rita Stack
You look great Z and I loved the brunch video, yhose pears looked very juicy, must get some.Ilove you so much, thanks Z.

@horsemom – she prefers pears to apples, she stated this in prior posts.
Good evening Lady Z, had a great week-end watching Neko Bay and Makoma racing, the did absolutely wonderfully. Got to see Mario, Cheva, Steve, Carmen, John, Dottie, and Mr. Moss; congratulations to them all on their wins. Looks like Makoma listened well and took to heart the advice you gave before you left Barn 55. Did you teach Neko Bay how to dance? He sure was prancing on the track. I’m sure Dottie will fill in all the details, have a good night and I hope the storms don’t bother you guys too much. Tell PQ, Alyss, SeaGull, Sarah, and the guys hi for me. Well, gotta get ready for the coming week, will talk soon.
Hugs and Kisses,
Valeria

Hi Zenyatta. You look wonderful in your photo and I love the video of you having brunch. Is that one of your BBFs I hear in the background. I am sure you shared your pears with everyone. They sure did look yummy! Carolyn from HRTV did a very interesting piece on you this morning with their weekly guest veterarian about you and Rachel being bred this past week. Carolyn loves you and can’t wait to hear more news in about two weeks from Team Zenyatta. The vet mentioned that Lane’s End is one of the best farms and has the best grass for grazing with plenty of nutrients for expecting moms. I am looking so forward to hearing the great news in about two weeks. Love you, Angel in Disguise. Have fun with your BBFs. Enjoy all that healthy fruit; it is good for mom and the baby. Love you.
Kendra
the videos are a great way to continue to see you. When might Lane’s End allow regular visitors to come and visit you?
Snoprinz
Zenny, you are definitely enjoying your brunch. I’m so happy for you. By the way, are you shedding your winter coat? I see areas on your face and body that are “uncovered”. Others say you’ve been rolling in mud. Does LE get to clean you up after all this rolling? Take care Zenny. Hugs and kisses to you.
