Good Morning,
Well, it has been a relaxed and happy time here at the farm! I love sharing snacks with my pals. Friendship and bonding with others is so important! We spend a great deal of time around the feeders…visiting and enjoying the grass hay that the farm sets out for us. As you can see, it is clear here…but the snow is due to fall soon. That is the reason the feeders are elevated…so we can supplement our diets while outside no matter what type of weather we are having.
Thank you for the kind words about the ZENYATTA LOUNGE. This is really helping so many women. The ladies have also planned a MOVIE night where they will get together on FRIDAY EVENING and watch movies. POPCORN FOR EVERYONE! Some discussion groups are also being organized so they can just “TALK ABOUT STUFF GOING ON IN THEIR LIVES.” This is so helpful. The Chaplain’s wife is going to start these get-togethers off…and then the topics will go from there. All of these activities are meant to be special for these Ladies. It sounds like we are off to a great start!
Maria asked about further donations for the LOUNGE. Please call Santa Anita…and they will give you the necessary information. You are all so thoughtful! Having this type of situation at other tracks would be a wonderful idea. I agree! Let’s hope this sets a good example for others to follow.
ZENYATTA FOR PRESIDENT!!!! Now, Suzen you are TOO CUTE! I am still blushing about this comment!
Baby pictures…Dottie is going through all of John’s files and will get some more for you. I guess this FAMILY HERITAGE and BABY PICTURE THING is really important to me now…with the anticipation of becoming a MOM!
As for my meeting Bernardini earlier this week…NO, that has not happened yet. I know they are ‘getting me ready’ for the big day…but we have not met yet! Dottie WILL LET YOU KNOW when it has happened. I PROMISE!
Oh, the snow is dusting the ground as I’m writing this.
Stay warm and enjoy your Tuesday!
With Love,
Hugs to all~

Dear Zenny – I love the picture of you and your friends doing a ladies lunch – so cute. I can’t wait to see more baby picture of you. I need see the one where you are about 6 months old and a very nice man is holding you with a sign that has your mom’s name on it. You really were so cute as a baby. It is so heartwarming to read all of your daily posts and can’t wait to read about your impending meeting with Mr. Bernardini. I do have on favor to ask, I have seen in past posts that you are quite the sports fan. If you could put in a good word for the Lakers that would be great – I mean being a California girl, I am sure you must love the Lakers. Be well beautiful girl. Hugs and kisses.

Photos of you happy in the pasture make my whole day.

Hi, Z-girl,
When the “big day” comes, it will be front page news at all the horse racing web sites and on the front page of all the horse magazines!!!! Can’t wait for that part to be over and then you can relax and rest for the next 11 months!! Hugs. Your friend, Ann Maree
Jo-An
Oh please make a baby cause we love you so much!!!!!!
Cindy
Wow! Am I the first one to comment? That’s never happened b4. There’s usually at least 100 b4 I even see your diary entry, Zen!
What a great picture!! You look absolutely happy! What a great farm you are on now – they take SUCH great care of you all. I am so happy to see that, as I am sure all of your peoples are too! Zen, I have a question – when you are with foal, will they move you to another pasture? Will you not see your pals that you see everyday now? I worry about that you will have to go through yet another change. Maybe horses deal with it better than people.
Have a great day, Zen!

Baby Photo’s would be awesome!! I glad you are very happy at the farm!! We miss you here and at the track. But I most happy about you being healty and sound and getting ready for your big date. Rachel and Curlin got together over the weekend – maybe your “kids” will get to run againt each other and your FOAL will win. We love a good horse race. With lots of Love and Hugs to you Zenyatta.

You would make a GREAT president — as things stand, though, you’re a bit young for that. Never mind, we can all work on it!
AND, your diet is so exemplary, everyone might wind up as healthy as…..YOU….simply by imitation!! ;D
Melinda

Oh Zenny, how cute, a HAY CLUTCH. Just you and your dear friends enjoying the day and the freedom to be a horse…..makes me very happy. So the big meet up is looming huh, we just can’t wait to know when it happens, and in a few weeks if it worked, and then what it is, and then when it’s due. Oh aren’t we just so wrapped up in your life!!! That’s because we just luv you soooo much. Luv and kisses on your nose.
Theresa
Zenyatta – I hope the big day comes and goes very easily for you!

Zenny…it’s gotten cold here again, too. I loved that picture of you and the gals resting in the paddock under a banket of sunshine. But, knowing how much you love the munchies this picture is great as well. Thanks to Sarah for taking the picture and giving us another glimpse into your new life. Tell Dottie we are sitting on pins and needles waiting for news abour your “date”.
Hugs and kisses to you!
Teresa Jimenez
So glad you are so happy Queen Z.
Maria McLeese
I will call Santa Anita and donate…others should do as led. I’m flying to Florida this week Zenyatta to go to Hollywood Park Saturday. I wish I could have seen you race, but your diary posts and videos make me happy. While my family loves thoroughbred racing I admit I get nervous watching horses run. Barbaro broke my heart. I am so at peace knowing you are happy and surrounded by loving people and fans who care about you . Maria

I know how well taken care of these girls are. I have been to a number of top horse farms here in KY. I can’t wait to see them rolling on their backs in the green grass of spring. Miss Z will so love it then.
