Happy Tuesday,
This is too cute! Last night, Dottie, John, Ann and Jerry all met for dinner. They were discussing my ‘future exciting dating plans’ and the ZENYATTA SCULPTURE that was done by Nina Kaiser. The prototype of the piece is photographed above with Stella and Violet. It looks like Stella is commenting to Violet how much she loves it. I DO TOO!
Nina Kaiser is a very talented sculptor. She does beautiful work! Recently, she did the JOHN HENRY life-size statue that is at Santa Anita Park. While I was at BARN 55, Nina would set up appointments with John and Dottie to come out and STUDY ME! She spent hours upon hours at the barn just observing me while I was training and out grazing. Nina actually measured every single part of my body and then took detailed photos of ALL of me! She wanted to be sure she could reproduce MY IMAGE in PERFECT SCALE! We spent a great deal of time together. This way, Nina felt she really KNEW ME and had a feel for how my body parts all flowed together when I moved. I also found it very interesting to note the keen observations of ‘an artist at work’ while she was with me!
It looks like she GOT IT RIGHT! My TEAM absolutely loved her image of me…and I’M DANCING!! How fabulous is this! YEAH, NINA!
As for my dating plans, I think this news will be released very soon. My TEAM reviewed all of the details with me this morning…and I’M SO EXCITED! I will keep you posted!
With love,
HUGS to ALL~

Hello Z,
I have gone through the true nicks for you and the best matches are A P Indy, if he has problems then it is City Zip, Mineshaft and Stephen got Even.
That is if your family have picked a LE stallion which I presume they have.
A P Indy is the most expensive which you so rightly deserve.

Zenyatta, whoever the lucky stud is, he just better be nice to you or he’ll have all of us to talk to! I just love your statue, and I can’t wait to see it to scale… Hope you’re having a wonderful day…we love you…

Zenny…I love the sculpture. What a thrill it must have been to be so close to you …taking measurements, pictures and just inhaling all the Zen that surrounds you. I know the Mosses,John and Dottie will make the right decision regarding your boyfriend. But…I think we all realize you may never duplicate yourself…you’re far to spectacular for that. I’m sure you will pass on your great looks and some of your immense talent. However, no one will beat your records…at least not in my lifetime. Stay safe and warm. Thanks to Dottie again for the photos. We really are a part of your family.

Where will Nina Kaiser’s completed large scale statue of you be displayed?
L
The stud sees her for all of two minutes, tops. Hard to much of anything in that time.

Love the statue, Looks like Settla and Violet approve as well. Well we have been wating to find out about your first date, who ever it is best treat you like the lady you are. I’m glad to know that the poss. breeding will take place next month, early foal, might mean we see the baby Z run as a 2 year old? or Early as a 3 year old. What fun to think that your baby might become just like her or his mommy :) Still 2014 hun before we will know, and will wait along with everyone else for your foal to be born 2012, what a date that will be, we all will be there right along with you through this whole thing. Hugs and Kisses Miss Z we love you.

Oh Z, its wonderful!! Breyer did you and now Nina, how wonderful. Will she release it in a resin so we might have a chance to get one?? I hope you get to meet AP Indy or Afleet Alex. Both are handsome older men. We love you Zenyatta. Secsea Dance, Salawgi, Simon and Picasso.
Janie
Can’t wait to hear who the lucky fella will be, honeybunch. But I also agree with Mike Smith that no stallion is worthy of our Zenyatta. I hope a less expensive version of Nina’s statue will be made available – I love that she captured you dancing! Love you Zenyatta!
Paul
That is a great little replica of you, Zenyatta. I would get one of those for myself if I could. I would love to meet the foals that you will eventually have and I hope that they become like you. I am looking forward to finding out who your boyfriend will be, although it may very well be true that no desirable boyfriend exists for you, like Mike Smith says. You are a very beautiful horse.

Awesome sculpture! Got that front toe pointing exactly. Can’t wait to hear the big news about your first date. I am sure he has been checked out more than once. The Queen deserves the best. Oh by the way, I finally had to download your song by Lisa Fly on my phone. I play it at the barn for my horses. They love to hear the song about The Queen Z.
Janet
The sculpture is beautiful and perfect…just like you Zenny. Can’t wait to hear who will be the lucky stallion.
Kathleen Burnham
We all wait with much anticipation!!! Can’t wait to hear who you have chosen to be your mate!!!! How exciting!!!!

The statue model is beautiful. I hope they make some we can afford. Well I guess the big day is near. I still do not think any stallion in the world is good enough, however, I vote for A P Indy or Madiglio de Oro. No Curlin or Blame that would be an insult.
Linda T
I would love a replica of that statue also, it is soooo you. I’m sure we’ll hear soon who the lucky stallion is, until then have fun at your new home and dont worry spring is right around the corner…love you Zenny!!

Good morning Zenyatta, you are one very special girl Z. Who ever you first date is he better be a gentleman with really good manners. The sculpture of you looks really nice and it shows that you’re dancing (love that). Do you know when they will be available to buy and where? It’s a really a nice treat that you post these daily activities for us to read, thank you for doing it. Have a great day and alwasy, lots of Love and Big Hugs.
Ken
my guess is that your date will by A.P. Indy or Curlin … in that order …. Luv is sweet – embrace it “Z” !!!!
Jan
Zenyatta,
Your statue is sooooo cute, and the Moss’s poodles are precious. You sure do have a wonderful family. Can’t wait till your mate is announced. I don’t know anything about horse breeding, so I’m hoping Dottie will give a description of the process. Lots of hugs & kisses from Houston. :)
sue
Lovely, lovely Zen! I can’t wait to find out which mate is your date. I still say you’re too fine for any of them, and I want you to stay safe and healthy during the whole process. But A P and Curlin would be my picks too.
Dawn Conrad
Dearest Zenyatta, hope you are having a wonderful day. Just home for a quick lunch break and had to see if there was a post today. Thank you and Dottie so much for keeping in touch. Violet and Stella are such stylish girls, you have some very lovely friends. We really appreciate their art critique also. I certainly agree, your statue is absolutely gorgeous. How wonderful that Nina Kaiser put so much, time, talent and love into making your image just right. You deserve the very best and how special that a portion of the proceeds will be going to support those beautiful thoroughbreds less fortunate and in need of rescue. You continue to give so much, Zenny. You are the best!!! Can’t wait to hear the “decision”, it has been so fun to try to guess. I have been out on the Stallion Register many times typing in likely candidates. For a young, uproven stallion, Eskendereya was a pretty good match. But if AP can manage it, that would be wonderful or certainly one of his son’s, Pulpit or Bernardini. And the winner is . . .? Bye for now, gorgeous. Peppermint kisses, crunchy carrots and hugs.
L – thank you for the information. I have been attempting to study pedigree, confirmation etc. for some years. There is so much to it and seems literally hundreds of variables when you go back several generations considering stallion and mare contributions.
Katie Clawson – Enjoyed your post very much. What a lucky young lady to get so close to Mike (a hug even), John and wonderful Zenny. You go girl!!

Dear Z,
Stella and Violet are beautiful, larger versions of Sophie Shirreffs. I have a 5 lb. girl poodle, Lola Mae. Love poodels. I wonder if the “Dancing Z” statue could be made into a second Bryer model of you Z. That would be great. Waiting to hear the big news. Thank you again Dottie for this wonderful daily diary. Love to all of you. Judy and Russ

I wish Charismatic was still at Lane’s End. With his heart – finishing 3rd in the Belmont on a broken leg and your amazing heart and talent, your babies would be unbeatable!
nDfilly
Match.com should read something like this 7 year old 16 hand 1500 lb lean athlete with dapples and a dance in her step seeks brunette experienced male stallion that has a sparkle in his eye and desires a real HOTY!. For a good time– call.
lil bunny foo foo
I hope Nina captures your gorgeous ASS! There’s none finer in all thoroughbreds! And your sassy dance moves! But I also love to see you cross the finish line with your ears up or waggling. Can she do both versions. I want to see you dance and I want to see your racing form, too. Ahh, there just isn’t a bad angle on you, girlfriend! :)

HEY Z,
cant wait to hear who your boyfriend is gonna be. like everyone else i have my opinion but what i really wanted to ask was this:
anyone whos ever been to the kentucky horse park and seen the man o war statue has seen the three stride comparisons of man o war, john henry and secretariat. my question is how long was YOUR stride?
hope to hear back from you. stay warm my queen!!
Kathryn Cogswell
‘ .. . very interesting to note the keen observations of “an artist at work” . ..’ Yes, especially since that echoes someone who wrote of how long John Shirreffs would just settle in to watch Zenyatta, figuring out things about his big filly, so she`d bring her best to her races.
Jennifer
Whoever the stallion is, he is one lucky boy! I’m betting that he is A.P.Indy or Smart Strike.
