Happy Tuesday,
This is too cute! Last night, Dottie, John, Ann and Jerry all met for dinner. They were discussing my ‘future exciting dating plans’ and the ZENYATTA SCULPTURE that was done by Nina Kaiser. The prototype of the piece is photographed above with Stella and Violet. It looks like Stella is commenting to Violet how much she loves it. I DO TOO!
Nina Kaiser is a very talented sculptor. She does beautiful work! Recently, she did the JOHN HENRY life-size statue that is at Santa Anita Park. While I was at BARN 55, Nina would set up appointments with John and Dottie to come out and STUDY ME! She spent hours upon hours at the barn just observing me while I was training and out grazing. Nina actually measured every single part of my body and then took detailed photos of ALL of me! She wanted to be sure she could reproduce MY IMAGE in PERFECT SCALE! We spent a great deal of time together. This way, Nina felt she really KNEW ME and had a feel for how my body parts all flowed together when I moved. I also found it very interesting to note the keen observations of ‘an artist at work’ while she was with me!
It looks like she GOT IT RIGHT! My TEAM absolutely loved her image of me…and I’M DANCING!! How fabulous is this! YEAH, NINA!
As for my dating plans, I think this news will be released very soon. My TEAM reviewed all of the details with me this morning…and I’M SO EXCITED! I will keep you posted!
With love,
HUGS to ALL~

Please please A.P. Indy!

It looks amazing! She’ll have to make a life-sized model soon, too :]
And I can’t wait to hear who the lucky guy is. I’m pulling for AP Indy!
Bridget
Do you like who they chose for you, Z?
Dani
I should add it is nice to meet more of the of the Moss family. They look very regal – much like you know who – you!! :)
Dana
That is too cute! Thank you Zenyatta for keeping us posted! We will look forward to the news regarding the lucky stallion!
I might guess Smart Strike but there are many great ones to choose from!

SPECTACULAR!!!!! Great photo today. I am sure those doggies know you are THE QUEEN!! It seems as though all is moving ahead in fine order. The sculpture of YOU is magnificent!!! Nina’s work comes from much love and her heart. I would love to spend days, even months just looking at you. She will value her time with YOU forever. I hope you have the final say on your first guy. (*_*) It is a most important event. You will be a lovely MOM.Thanks for making my days with your posts. They are a great pick me up!! Have a good afternoon on this Tuesday. I will be looking forward to your next great big bit of news. I LOVE YOU ZENYATTA!!!xoxoxxo

Would there ever be a chance for replicas of that statue to be available for purchase? It is beautiful!
Looking forward to you big announcement!!!
xoxo

i love your sculpture, it is perfectly you. please let us know when it will be released and where we will be able to purchase it. it will be an absolute must have. my husband bought me a beautiful portrait of you by an artist named Rhode for x-mas and added to all of my Breeder’s Cup 2010 memorabilia ( i had your poster framed, too!), it’s the start of a great collection. i was so excited to see you run in person. our whole family chipped in for both of our birthdays to cover our tickets and hotel room so we could see you run and it was worth every penny!! i even got a picture of you as you flew past the grandstand the first time. it is very blurred, and partially obscured by someone’s head, but at least it got it! i also got a nice one of you and mike with your lead pony before the race. thank you so much for all the wonderful memories and inspiring such a memorable trip! also, we can’t wait to hear who your “baby-daddy” is going to be!! how exciting, but i can’t help thinking what a shame it is about Cigar, he would have made a wonderful sire. there are so many other great stallions out there though, and now you live with several of them!! good luck to you and your family and friends. i’d like to hear some news about Mike, too. has he been to visit you yet? love and best wishes.

Zenyatta where will your statue be located? Hollywood Park or perhaps the Kentucky Horse Park? Maybe she can do two statues…..BTW its beautiful!
Gloria Jeanne
Hi Zenny! I wonder if your fans will be able to pick up one of those scultored statues any time soon? It would be so very awesome to get our very own Zenyatta.
I am excited for your breeding plans to be announced soon. I was wondering just how many foals you would be able to have in your life or to what age you can still be bred? If anyone knows that would be great. Thanks! Love and Hugs

We would love to see a close-up shot of the sculpture. We hope the Mosses will have a life size sculpture made of Zenyatta. We would love to see it placed at the Kentucky Horse Park near those of Man O’War and Secretariat for current and future generations to see the beauty, charisma and size of this magnificent legend. It could also (of course far in the future) be her final resting place.

Every day I spend a beautiful moment with Zenyatta and her family………..thank you for sharing.

Such a cool statue! I have a lot of respect for the Mosses because of how they have shared you with all of us. I now have even more respect because of their choice in canine companions. I LOVE Standard Poodles! Everyone thinks poodles are flighty, nervous, and whimpy. Poodles of any stature, standard or otherwise, are brave, friendly, loyal, quiet, and lovable. They have dogs who are like the horses they have, very much like you!
Colleen
I love the sculpture Z. I think it really captures you! I can’t wait to hear who the lucky guy is going to be.
Here’s hoping he’s tall, dark, and handsome and has a few good moves of his own!
Jenna
Oh my goodness I want one! I’d prefer to have the living, breathing Zenyatta but I’ll take the little Z.
I’m Googling you constantly to see who your mate will be. Please be kind to our Z. [Repeat: I am a baby about all of this breeding stuff.]
This statue is adorable. And Stella and Violet are so sweet…poodles are one of the smartest breeds.
Thank you, Dottie. Good luck with your decision. I know your four know the very best.
Take care.

We are all so very blessed to be able to stay in touch with you on a daily basis. Stay Healthy & Happy!

The sculpture is zen-tastic (OK, well that’s a little corny, but oh well : ) Zen-tabulous?? Standard poodles are SUCH smart dogs, so if they’ve given the “paws” up to the statue, you can be sure it’s a winner. Plus they are gorgeous, just like you, Zenyatta. Best wishes on the daddy news – I think I’m hoping for AP Indy — but then again, I’m not in the know about these things.

I do hope The Zenyatta Team has considered her first date VERY carefully! After all, Mike Smith did tell the fans that “no stallion was worthy of her!” :o) Well, since fans do have a say (but it doesn’t mean anything) this fan votes for A P Indy. A BC Classic winner and 1992 HOY to A BC CLassic winner and 2010 HOY! What a winning foal that will be! :o)

SANTA ANITA FEB 5. Sorry, have to wait til tomorrow for details. Person we need for info. is out of office.

Ms Zenyatta, I could hardly breath when reading about your CA’s family dinner discussion. I want you to be a MOM, you will be a great MOM, I want to see you 2 kids grow up to be just like you….but none of boys that call themselves stallions are good enough for you, honey. I know i mentioned Tiznow, but when it comes to the wire, no one is good enough, worthy enough as Mike would say. I do know that you’ll be a great Mama. Love Lisa g

Ms Zenyatta, The sculpture of you is perfect, just like YOU. I love the way Stella and Violet are discussing it, you can tell that they are o, so proud of you. TTYL, I love you, Queen Z…Lisa g

Wow….what a beautiful sculpture of you…and you dancing…that is what we all have loved so much about you….because you look so happy when dancing…and you taught yourself those dance moves. The fans are excited to hear about your date…it is wonderful to be able to be a part of this next phase of your life. Hugs to you Z….

Katie – I was at the BCC this year and I had to cry, too. Most of our friends there with us probably thought I was a little nuts, but I didn’t care. My gal pal who was there understood.
Would love to get my hands on one of those sculptures of Z dancing. Please do let us know if/when/where they are available. My MIL would probably love one, too.
Happy Days as I anxiously await the dating news to come….♥
Rita
