    Z – CONGRATULATIONS!! You won the final race after all…in your only loss to Blame you WON the hearts of people everywhere and in the end you did beat Blame with HOY 2010.     Congratulations, Zenny! I just checked my e-mail and saw The Blood Horse headline: Zenyatta Crowned Horse of the Year! I wanted to scream in excitement, but I would’ve woken the whole house. I’m so proud of you, Zenny! No horse deserved it more than you. Enjoy it, big girl! Now you can truly say you went out with a bang! A big bang!

    As I said on Facebook….It almost makes it worth it to have lost the last two times! What a performance! What a perfect ending…..and a brilliant beginning!! Miss Horse of the Year, are you ready to meet mister Daddy of the Year? =D hehe!!

    I hope you all are throwing yourselves a WELL DESERVED PARTY!!!! And Zenyatta I hope they give you a really nice dinner and a warm bath and a massage! I bet you loved those before…didn’t you!!     I wouldn’t have missed Zenyattas carrer for the world. Yet the world couldn’t have convinced me that a dancing mare was going to show up and rock it through a 19 race winning streak. I had to see her with my own eyes to believe it. And thankfully, I was watching when my once-in-a-lifetime horse showed up.

    Congratulations Zenyatta! You are such a super girl. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. You truly are the greatest race mare of all time! A huge thank you to the Mosses and all of Team Z for bringing you back this year and for the wonderful care they have given you. You will be a great mom. All great race horses have moms with great big hearts. I know you will pass that on to your babies. Can’t wait to see them! They will be awesome.
