Hello Everyone,
Happy Monday! Sophie and all of my friends at BARN 55 are sending ME and all of TEAM ZENYATTA SPECIAL GOOD LUCK WISHES for tonight!
In our family, we love BUTTERFLIES! We think they are beautiful and represent such a free spirit. In reality, we also feel they are very LUCKY.
To keep with this theme, Sophie is dressed in her LUCKY OUTFIT. It has a beautiful beaded Butterfly on the back. She’s ready to watch the ECLIPSE AWARDS with all of my friends at Barn 55. The area around the TV at BARN 55 will have ‘standing room only’. It is getting close!
Fingers, paws and hooves crossed!
With Love,
Hugs to all~

Blind Luck’s owner just made a very classy statement about Zenyatta and her impace on racing – bringing in so many new fans. He also acknowledged the Moss’ generosity!! Now I’ll always cheer for Blind Luck!!
Kathryn Cogswell
Blind Luck`s owner made a gracious homage to Zenyatta, John Shirreffs & the Mosses; he said he’d been a fan 50 years & never seen ANYTHING like her. Well-spoken & touching, because he rather teared up speaking of her.
Joan
Owner of the year, Winstar Farm.

It’s never been easy for me to do several things at once, but here I sit trying to read these beautiful good luck wishes to Zenyatta and Team Z, and I’m trying to pay attention to the Eclipse awards going on in the background. Multi-tasking is just not my strong suit, so I will simply say I will be disappointed if the HOTY is not awarded to our Queen only because I know her family will be saddened by that outcome. In my heart she is already the queen, the Horse of a Lifetime, and I’m like so many of you who grew up loving Man O’War, reading all the horse stories, wishing Fury was my own horse and so on and so on. It surprises me how much I have grown to love Zenyatta and it has become such a part of my life. I think the words that Dawn Conrad wrote says what is in many of our hearts. Thank you, Dottie, for another wonderful photo of Sophie and I can’t wait to read about the family visit. You all looked beautiful on tv tonight!

How could the Mosses not get owners of the year? In a industry where greed is rampant, they took the chance to share you with the world again where they stood no chance for overall financial gain. Give me a break.
Lollipop
Queen Z, whether you win horse of the year or not, you will always be horse of the lifetime to me!!
Celeste
Trainer of the year was based on the money won as it has been for the last several years. We all know who the best trainer is!! And they are stabled at Barn 55!!

The Mosses know how the fans feel and that the Queen was loved by them. The team Z says it all

I am watching it right now Zenny, Sophie and Dottie. Probably a half an hour more. If all is right with the world she will win it.
Sherpa
Hi Paula!
I thought this might be the place to get the quickest updates. Please report!

Zenyatta wins her third consecutive Eclipse Award as outstanding older female! Please, please please, one more for her tonight!
Joan
The Moss’ are great owners, I totally agree.Winstar is about a couple of Texas boys that love horses and they were lucky enough to have bred a KD winner and a Belmont winner.Winstar has a wonderful website. They do so much for racing, they treasure the horse. They rescue horses that have come from their farm. There is a wonderful story on their websiste bringing him home, a gelding , raced for 7 years as a claimer. they bought him and brought him home.He now is grazing in a field. They are first class
people.

Older Male Award just went to Blame.

Here comes ZEN
Celeste
Older male award went to Blame. @Joan I agree about Win Star – a class act and they are following in the Mosses footsteps in trying to get people involved with their horses, having name the foal contests and a fan friendly web-site. Being from Texas, I may be slightly prejudiced, but I am glad they do care so much for their horses, too.
Sherpa
thank you, Suzanne!!!
Joan
@ Celeste, hey I’m for Texas too.
Barbara Wood
Yes, this Texan can agree about WinStar. We ended up getting our own private tour when we were there.
GO, Z!
