Hello Everyone!
What a lucky horse I am! Yesterday I was busy writing a piece for THE BLOODHORSE Magazine (Commemorative Issue) coming out soon. I think I did a pretty good job! Dottie helped me. We submitted some of my baby photos and photos John had from when I was 2 at Mayberry Farm and when I first arrived here at John’s Hollywood Park barn.
The fans have been wonderful. Each day, groups are arriving to see me and I LOVE IT! Everyone has been so, so kind. Earlier in the week, I received a gorgeous floral arrangement….and then today there was Guinness, carrots and so many other goodies. I get to greet everyone and pose for pictures with so many wonderful people.
YIPPEE! LOOK AT THIS! John is just walking out here with some more gifts from fans. The CERAMI FAMILY sent me flowers and a goodie basket. He also has a BASKET OF EATIBLE TREATS which was sent from ADRIENNE AND ERIC GOFFNETT from MI. This is amazing!
I have said it often…but I truly can’t THANK ALL OF YOU enough for your kindness and love. I have been blessed to have so many wonderful, wonderful friends.
I’m doing fabulously. I’m relaxing and having fun each day! Lucky me!
Hugs to you all…and we’ll keep in touch.
Z

Words just aren’t adequate to describe the joy, the thrills, the heart and the beauty you have given to us, along with your amazing team and owners. I only hope that you will be treated with the same kindness and respect wherever you may go. You can always count on us, your admirers, for love. You are truly the Horse of the Century and will always be in our hearts.
Susie
Zenyetta – watched you race last week and I know you could have won. You are the best.
Quarterhossgal
Team Zenyatta, thank you for letting Queen Z’s fans enjoy her so very much. Can’t wait to see the Blood Horse issue that honors Z. She is truly the horse of a lifetime. She is unbeatable on the track and has such a kind mind what a wonderful combination. I have been lucky enough to see Cigar, Personal Ensign, Lady’s Secret, Serena’s Song,
Alysheba, Easy Goer, Bernardini, Miesque all run in Breeder’s Cup races but my biggest thrill was to see Queen Z.
Vicki Bartmess
Zenny, you’re the best! You’re “Horse of a Lifetime”, or the Eclipse “Special Award” should be renmaed the “Zenyatta Award” — HOY is really not enough for you. Hope to see you soon, just to say goodbye!

Dear ZenMeister, it’s good to hear from you again. I hope you continue to let us rabid fans know how you’re doing…. I don’t know about others, but I get a little crazy without my Zenyatta Fix! I can’t wait to get my copy of the Bloodhorse mag you’re writing – I pre-ordered it quite a while ago,so I’m jonesing for it!
Thanks,Team Zen,for letting “our” Zenyatta post – we miss Our Girl already! Is it shameful of me to BEG you to race her one more year???? Well then,I’ll be shameful! C’mon, Moss family and Shireffs – Zen still has some major Butt-Kicking left in her!
Thanks for the update, Zenyatta and Dottie – keep ’em comin’!
Love ya’, Big Girl!
Ms. Wood
I say Goodnight to you every night when i go to bed. I wonder if you are warm in your barn and have enough hay. I know that you do. It makes me sad to think of Kentucky for you, I just think it’s way toooo cold, out there for you. I think your a Cali girl, too Hollywood for those country mares. I love the country born and raised but once you’ve been californized, you don’t want to live anywhere else. Your family loves you and I know they will do what’s best for you.
Hannah Jonas
Zenyatta you are truly amazing… I love you, you are the best and you ran your heart out in the breeders cup! You are the best female rachorse of the decade! Good Luk to you, Mr. Sheriffs, and Mr. and Mrs. Moss, and of course Mike!!

Can we come see Z at Hollywood Park? When I call, they tell me they are not letting people into the stable area! I would LOVE to drive up to see her in “person” and give her some love and thanks! It would be the thrill of a lifetime!!!

Seabiscuit was the great hope during the depression. Zenyatta is there for us at this time. I am grateful to Team Zenyatta for sharing her with us. I’ve seen her race four times, twice at Breeders’s Cup, Santa Anita, early last month at Hollywood Park and this last at Churchill Downs. She brings so much joy. Last of all, I want to say thoroughbred racing is much more than business, thanks to those who love and care for Zenyatta.
JOAN WOOD PEDRON
Please don’t race again. Stay healthy and sound and let us adore you. I do not think I could watch you race again Love you too much.
