Happy Friday, Everyone!

It is amazing how things in one’s life can change so much in just several hours. Here I am late yesterday afternoon with Ann and Jerry posing for this photo…..and then a few hours later….I became a MOM!

Shortly after this picture was taken, the Moss’ left for dinner. All was quiet in my life and it seemed like we’d all have a relaxing evening. Then suddenly things started to change!

A few hours later, Mike Cline called Ann and Jerry to let them know I was feeling a bit restless and I could possibly foal later that evening.

Jerry immediately called MY JOHN and Dottie in California… and everyone started to PACE. Shortly after this, my water broke…and my lovely FOAL was bornat 10:10 last evening. As I’ve said so many times before, NATURE IS TRULY AMAZING!

HE IS ADORABLE, I AM SO EXCITED…and I AM SO BLESSED!

I am one who likes to LICK. It is a habit I developed somewhere along the way in my life. As you may remember, I used to lick MY MARIO’S face all of the time after I won a race. Thus, licking my dear foal seems like second nature to ME.

He is one handsome guy and I am now beginning to see that he and I will be embarking on an entire new journey as the future unfolds.

    Dear Zenyatta and Baby Z I ran this morning and all I could think about was that the world is a better place because Baby Z has been born. I am so Happy for You and your Special Family. Yesterday was a Zenyatta Baby Z Day in Homeroom 215. Before I said good morning or good afternoon I yelled Zenyatta had her baby then showed the children the two pictures from the site. I used my projector so you and baby were super sized. The children loved it. I will show them the video on Monday. I hope you and the Baby have a really good day in the Kentucky sunshine.     Good morning Zenny, Baby Boy, Dottie, Tasty and your baby 2B, Zen-sters:

    @ ZENSTERS: I’m watching HRTV at the moment (a desperate Canadian who opted for livestreaming since there’s no chance of getting any horse racing otherwise & TVG is NOT in Canada) and they’re showing racing from Dubai on what feels like a British feed. The Zenny & baby footage won’t be on in this time zone until 11:00 AM or thereafter.

    Although the Mosses are ACE at the “name game” and I know we can expect something very creative from them, if I were in the driver’s seat, I’d call him KARI’S KISSES as a FIRST choice and RADIANT as a second. The RADIANT is the centre out of which meteors spin…..

    @ RE: PLUSHIE + PHOTOS: I’m number 48 and I never got a card & photo either. However, somewhere in a previous post, a Zen-ster said they’d spoken to someone connected with zenyatta.com who had said that this was NOT something connected to anyone, including Team Z, related to Zenny’s site.

    @ ZENNY & BABY BOY: I’m sure that you both had a good rest last night and today will likely be more paddock fun! Love you Big Girl & BB. Love to you, sweet Tasty and looking forward to hearing happy news about you by Monday.

    Glad you got to see it. I for one am feeling very dismissed and betrayed here that now that the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived, we have to PAY to see pictures of the foal on HRTV. I can’t afford that. Can’t believe that Team Z is just dismissing all of Z’s fans like this. When did this become about money? Guess I’ll have to wait for all the pirated Youtube videos to show up.

      O, my..dismissing us? They have done more than any owners ever…HRTV is going to post the Zenyatta and Prince special on line…themselves. We have learned that they will share with us, but right now Zenyatta is a brand new mom and a champ at it I might add…they’ve already shared pictures and videos…We can be patient for more and more and more, My name is Lisag and I am a Zenyatta addict, if I can be patient anyone can. This is so far from being about money. All cable companies offer the sports package….I watch the races as well as being priveledged to see any and all specials about Our Queen. They love that Zenyatta has so many that love her..cuz Zenyatta loves us back.

      I don’t believe the Mosses are dismissing anyone either. They have no control over what the cable companies charge us. Like many others, I pay extra on my bill to receive HRTV andTVG. I did this from the beginning of Zenyatta’s career. There are videos on Youtube now of photos and also on Facebook. you don’t have to sign up for Facebook to see them. Just click on the facebook logo on this site and it will take you only to Zenyatta’s site. Also check out JOHN’s website, I think it’s Backside 55 or Barn 55.

    just saw the video of Zenyatta and son on HRTV. It shows a bright sunny morning,just hours after he was born being very willingly led with a lead shank along side his mom out to the paddock. Once inside the paddock he actually galloped and started to play some and he can walk under his mom for now but that won’t last long. There’s video of Ann sitting in the straw with the little prince soon after he was born. Zenyatta is lying in the straw also watching while Ann and the prince exchange nuzzles. It was beautiful to see Ann with him and Zenyatta taking it all in with supreme confidence. Very special people the Mosses and who more fitting to have the most special race horse in recent history. It’s going to be a great ride.

    @ Zen-sters: Just saw the HRTV special on Zenny, with Jerry & Ann centre-stage. Clearly, they’re taking the greatest care with the media right now, as they should. So the piece is short-ish, under 3 minutes I would guess. Shows Zenny licking her newborn, Ann kissing baby and then shows them heading to the paddock and in the paddock. Prior to the footage, Zoe Cadman reported that when baby’s hooves emerged, they were so dainty everyone thought he was a filly, and that the birthing took awhile because Baby Boy had such long legs!

    He’s adorable and when Ann started to cry, so did Auntie Abigail !!!!!!

      Just watched it too. It looks like The Prince loves his Human Ann-ma (can’t call her grandma, too young, vibrant and beautiful), The Moss’, they are just fantastic people. This is the first time I saw Zenyatta just glance at the camera…like she was saying..I have important things to do right now, no time for looking into the camera. What a mama she is, The Prince looks like he likes to ‘lick’ kiss to. Short but absolutely fantastic.

    @ luvscritters: HRTV will make this public, I believe, on their site. From a practical point of view, if only Jerry & Ann were there, a cell phone video isn’t going to get this kind of quality. By way of saying, I don’t believe that we’re being dismissed at all & I’m sure there will be lots of video posted here. FYI: If I didn’t pay the modest $9 CAD per month for HRTV, I wouldn’t get ANYTHING AT ALL here in Quebec, Canada !

      Abigail, I have to agree with you. And may I add, Jerry, Ann, John, Dottie have shared with us more than any other owner/trainer in history, that I know of. Also, I told my husband when we bought our satellite package, if it didnt have HRTV then I didnt want anything at all.

        • Amen, right now if you’ve a puter, you’ve access. I do the sports package, cuz I like HorseRacing…There is not much of it here, live, in North Texas…but in Oklahoma…that is where I have to go to go to the track. Dottie says it is coming, then it is coming. Now is the private family time. I feel like I am in a dream…thinking back to when I first saw The Queen and now look…WOW…Wow

        Thanks so much for posting the HRTV link! What a great video — Ann and Jerry are beaming! The interaction between Zenyatta, Baby, and the Mosses is so lovely. Such genuine warmth and admiration. Z is beautiful (as usual, of course), and the “ZeeBaby” is just too adorable! Such fun to watch him frolic around Mama!

      I just watched it online too at no charge. It was so sweet and yes I cried. You can just tell how much they LOVE Zenyatta espically Ann. I can’t wait to watch this little guy grow up.

    Just love those photos of your beautiful moon-kiZZed baby boy on Facebook! Thank you again, Team Zenyatta, for letting us have a glimpse of these wonderful, special times. The Prince’s star actually looks like one, with star dust trailing, if those are little white hairs on the bottom left…or maybe a make-a-wish dandelion? We’ll be trying to make something out of all of this full-moon baby, born on the lucky 8th, in the year of the Dragon for a very, very long time! Thank you! Love & kiZZEs to you!
