Dear, dear, dear friends,

I am so proud and elated to share the news with you that I am now a MOM. I just gave birth to a lovely dark bay COLT, March 8th, at approximately 10:10 p.m. Eastern Time.

My adorable foal weighed in at 130 pounds, has a white star on his forehead….and some white on his feet. As Ann commented when she saw him, “he has polka dots on his feet, Zennie, just like YOU.”

All went very well with the foaling. I must say….I did it like a CHAMP!

My foal is absolutely precious…and I am so pleased to share this entire experience with all of you…my precious and loving friends.

We are all still just getting acclimated to this entire new experience. I’m doing great. MY BABY is doing great….and Bernie is also excited! I’ll update you again with some more photos in the morning.

All blessings to each of YOU….and THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART….for being there for ME and SHARING THIS WONDERFUL PART OF MY LIFE WITH ME!

    So, Ms Zenyatta, what does Tasty think of all this? We wait in anticipation of her baby.

    When I get home, I will check out your video and move on over to Your Man’s FB and congratulate him. I bet he is stallionizing over this beautiful Prince.

    As with others mt first post got lost also. Take two: Congratulations Queen Z and your whole Team! The pictures of him are just adorable and everyone in my office thinks I am nuts when I let out a cheer that your baby is here. One of the first things I did was put a picture of you two on my desktop of my computer and I am going to look at it all day. What a way to make a very happy friday. I am so glad all went well with your foaling and now we need an update on Tasty. I bet she is excited for you.

    Zenyatta, what an exciting week. Now I have Horse Fever more than ever. Since I discovered you, I made my first visit to a racetrack, am taking horseback riding lessons and now am planning to lease a horse. Am anxious to see how your little one progresses. I know there are a lot of expectations, but looks like he will be Zenyatta-sized, so maybe hold off on the Triple Crown Races. Will love you and your offspring forever. A soft kiss to your nose.

    How ’bout “Full Moon Forever” as a name for him? He was born on a full moon and the day of International Women’s Day. What a perfect day for everyone who loves racing! I can’t wait until he runs his first race. He will play to a packed house.

    Dearest Zenyatta,

    My heart filled with joy last night when I learned the news! Your website was SO overloaded, I could not post my congratualtions to you, Bernie, and your wonderful connections. He is absolutely perfect!

    I had a dream a couple weeks ago that you were going to have a colt. I just KNEW it! He is better than I ever could have imagined, and you look STUNNING as usual.

    I posted this on your Facebook, but I wanted to let you know that your little boy (and you, of course) have a Guradian Angel watching over you. His name is “Clever Reign,” and he was an OTTB gelding and my best friend for 6 years. I lost him this past September, and I talked to him about you everyday. He knew everything about you and loved you as much as I still do. Trust me when I say, you are in very capable hooves under his watch.

    Congratulations Zenyatta, what a beautiful boy, love the little white star and his nose has your same coloring. When I read the news I got goose bumps, I was so excited.       I am beyond THRILLED, THRILLE, THRILLED!!! I can’t believe my full moon prediction (and it being a colt) actually came true!!! I am “over the moon” and cried many tears of joy last night. LOOK at those LEGS and those EARS!!! If that little cutie had a stripe he would look EXACTLY like mom…he practically does already! I can’t wait until we get flooded with more pictures and videos (SO glad I watched the video of them last night a dozen times because today it is not available). Can’t wait to see them flying across their paddock together.

      Any word on Tasty??? Did she foal yet???
