Happy December 30th to All~
As you can see, this is my very favorite place in our paddock to stand and ‘check everything out’. I just love to follow all of the activity and different things going on at the farm. From this vantage point, I can see absolutely EVERYTHING. I just love it!
Sarah wanted to come by and get an ‘end of the year’ photo of ME for Dottie to use in the DIARY….and here I was standing in MY SPOT!
At night, TASTY and I do go back to the barn and stay nice and cozy. The rest of the time we are enjoying our fabulous paddock together. HMM, that reminds ME, I’d better chat with TASTY for a bit and find out about our NEW YEAR’S EVE plans!
I’m sure you are quite busy making all of your plans and deciding upon your resolutions for the upcoming year! TASTY and I better get those things organized as well. The time is getting close!
Enjoy your day!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Happy New Year beautful girl. This will be a wonderful year for you with the birth of little Zenny. How smart you are to hang out at the spot where you can see everything. John’s helmet cam video of Eby showed her to be very obsevant as well during her work. Her exercise rider let her get into her work at a slow pace. Eby was watching and looking all around alot before embarking around the track just like you used to. So anxiously awaiting her first start. I’m so hoping to be there since I’m walking better and not in the wheelchair all of the time.
HAPPY NEW YEAR beautiful girl.
Anne

@signofthetimes- LOLOL!! The potted meat must be mixed with miracle whip and sweet pickle relish and served as finger sandwiches…Blackeyed peas and greens are on stove…(fresh- no cans!)LOL!

Dearest Terry Crow- I hope this new year gives you a moment of JOY for each moment of laughter you have given us and many moments of love, joy, peace & laughter for each moment of sorrow you have endured at the loss of you friend…You are very loved by all of us, I hope you now that!

What beautiful pictures from the last 2 days! As we have been out of town, I’m trying to play “catch-up”, so if I leave out anyone, I am truly sorry. Here goes:
@ANN MAREE- thanks for the RR info.
@JAG–love the lion/tiger/bear story!
@TERRY C.– thanks for the compliments on the win. I hate to sound dumb, but what is Jan. 27? National Redneck Day?
@SHARI VOLTZ/DAWN CONRAD–another dumb question–how do you wear your tags? As a necklace? Bracelet?
@MARYANN–Happy belated birthday!
@PEGGY (N)–God be praised! I did pray and am so glad to hear the great news! What a great start for the new year. Rejoicing with you.
@ROBERTA B.–thank you for the kind words. I really feel that I am doing what God has for me to do now after years of having raised our daughter, retired from teaching, rattling around the house wondering what He has for me to do. Never a dull moment these days.
I am so glad so many are enjoying the movie. Hope it wins many awards and brings in a lot of money.
@Georgia in Seattle–thanks for the Autumn update (I think that was you) and boy, don’t need to apologize for your defense. Ours was for the most part like fishing net!
@Amanda G,–welcome back!
@Mary–I sympathize with your dog diet. Our lab mix, Charlie, is overweight and gets no table food. We measure his dog food. We’ll have to weigh him soon, and if he hasn’t lost any, will do a thyroid test. The problem is that his sidekick, Daisy Mae the German Shepherd, runs all the time–is always “on duty” and burns calories like crazy. So it’s hard when there are 2.
@KARI BUSSELL– you are such a dear friend to me. Thank you so much for ENDURING that game to the end. I was thinking of you, wondering if you saw it. You would have loved the pre-game festivities–it was all to honor veterans, and they rolled out a field-size American flag, while 65,000+ of us sang the national anthem.It was a test of endurance for those of us who were there–never knowing until the last minute whether we would lose or win. You deserve an extra reward for persevering until the end, since you are in the Eastern time zone. We got to bed at 2:30 a.m. Drove back to Waco yesterday and had a Lady Bear game last night. They beat MS Valley ST 93-55. We can barely stand such athletic prosperity after being bottom-feeders for so many years. Thanks so much for following the saga. Love and higs.
@SUE FREDRICK/DAWN CONRAD–so glad to hear the rescue kitties are settling in well.
It is great to have new Dumplings posting.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL.
Barbara Wood (Texas)
OOPS! One more–
@NANCY–glad you had such a good time with the Barn 55 adventure!
Barbara Wood (Texas)
@KAri–sorry “hugs”–it’s those typing skipps again ( or lack thereof)–lol!

@ Mary Bobolis
So very much hope you can make it to “E” debute;
Z sters have mentioned how much quieter she seems than
Zenny; Bernardini is know for his cool calm and collected nature; never got rattled or upset on the track; so she may be quieter appearing than her sister;
***************************************
although in the helmet cam video she got a
little upset (throwing her head) when that horse went by and she was “done” with her work for the day.
Barbara Wood (Texas)
“skills”–I’ve not had a drop to drink–honest–just worn out.
