Cheers…..it’s Christmas Eve!

This is SO EXCITING!

I can’t believe it! My dear friends at BARN 55 all got together this morning to send ME…and ALL OF YOU…a wonderful Christmas HELLO!

They look fabulous wearing their new PRIDE OF BARN 55 sweatshirts with ME on the front! I am so incredibly touched! I heard MY JOHN and Dottie had them made for everyone as a fun Holiday Surprise! If I say so myself, they all look TOO CUTE!

Oh look, there’s MY MARIO standing on the left! YOU’RE LOOKING GOOD, MARIO!

Then there’s JUNIOR, FRANK, ANGEL, STEVE, BRUCE, COWBOY, HONORIO, ABI, CHEVA, and LUPE … to name a few. These wonderful people have all been my dear, dear friends for so many years. I have spent so much time with them and shared so many remarkable moments!

CHEERS TO ALL ….. YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It is so great to see them again…as one big group…standing right out there by MY TREE at BARN 55! Such fond memories!

The holidays…they are really a special time to touch base with the people who you love and share so many fabulous times with in your life!

I hope your Christmas Eve is one to be treasured…and that you, your family, and dear friends keep in touch…just like BARN 55 did with ME today…and EACH OF YOU!

Weights: Northern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 126 lbs., Older, 130 lbs., Southern Hemisphere Three-Year-Olds, 124 lbs., Older, 128 lbs. Fillies and Mares allowed 3 lbs.

    North Pole Alaska’s Religious Station KJNP-TV Channel 4 will be broadcasting the race live. There will be a post parade prior to the 8th race. Leading the post parade will be the first horse ever created, followed by the Darley Arabian, the Godolphin Arabian, and the Byerly Turk. Santa Claus will preside as grand marshal driving Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, and of course Rudolf along with all the elves. All horses and horse lovers past and present are invited to participate. If you can dream you can attend too. Security will be non-existent because GOD himself will be in attendance.

    I am in SO cal – and was planning to go to Santa Anita opening day.. how can I get a Z tag? May try to also make it to the zoo! WHat fun

Tell her how you want your name to appear on your tag, and she will most likely have irt waiting for you at SA on the 26th. The Dumplings plan to congregate at the John Henry statue at !0:30 AM, and thereafter periodically in the paddock area as horses arrive there.

    @Mary Hale— RE: Clydesdales and others—Thank you for mentioning the Gentle Giant Draft Horse Rescue on #404. I checked out their website, and thought I would post a few words therefrom here and a link:
    “We are located in Mount Airy, Maryland, nestled on 41 acres. We are committed to saving draft horses from slaughter, and adopting them into new homes as trail and schooling horses. We can accommodate up to 50 rescues at a time.”
