To all my dear, loving fans,
I want to THANK all of you for your support, encouragement and love.
I gave it a good GO in the Breeders’ Cup Classic…and tried my best! I’m home now at my Hollywood Park Barn. The flight back to California was great. My friends, Mario, Frank and Harmonious, traveled on the plane with me. It was a smooth trip!
The last week has been exciting and thrilling! I had a great time in KY and everyone was so kind to me. I posed for hundreds and hundreds of photos yesterday alone with so many fabulous fans. They brought me Z cakes, apples, peppermints, and carrots. They hugged me, kissed me, and made me feel so special. I am one lucky mare.
Then when I got back to the barn there was a great WELCOME HOME ZENYATTA sign hanging at the barn. People signed it with such sweet messages for me! Everyone makes me feel so special.
Today, I’ll walk and relax a bit and, of course, GRAZE! LUCKY ME!
Hugs to all…and again…THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for being so loving and supportive of me and all of TEAM ZENYATTA.
With great appreciation…
Love,
Z

Dear Queen Z,
It is your fans who owe all of the thanks to YOU!! You did such a GREAT job on Saturday and you should know that, many years from now, when people (and yes, we know we are silly creatures) write and talk about the greatest horses of ALL times, you will always be spoken of right next to Secretariat, Man of War, and just a handful of others. There are millions of people sending you hugs and thanks. We are all glad that you are back home, safe and sound. Lots of love, Linda

What a beautiful and sweet girl you are….you ran a wonderful race and of course the most important thing is that you made it back home in tip top shape with nothing more to prove. There is nothing more special than knowing you have a team/family around you that cares so much for you. What a tribute to racing you all are. My only regret is never having seen you in person. You should all be so very proud of everything that has been accomplished and the WAY it has been accomplished…You are the horse of our hearts.

Zenyatta, and her family, are the GREATEST. Thank you for all of the thrilling, and all of the sweet and spunky moments that are Zenyatta. We just named our gorgeous baby 17 hand black mule after you! (Zenebony, or Zebby as we call her). That way we can remember you everyday for the rest of her life. We all love you so much!

Dear Team Zenyatta,
I can’t thank you enough for your willingness to share your amazing horse. I am a horse owner and I try to be an ambassador whenever possible, what you have done is unbelievable. I fell in love with her and I truly believe she is America’s horse! I was so blessed to watch her run last week and she finished like the champion she is. She may have lost the race but she won over the few people that doubted. Thank you for giving us something to believe in and being such great ambassadors for horse racing and horses in general. I hate to think of her not racing but please keep her website going for all of her adoring fans!
Thank you Team Zenyatta,
Beth Lindler

So wonderful to have you back Zenyatta! It’s your town, we just live in it.
You won the race for our hearts, the emotion you stir our hearts with when watching you run is stronger deeper and truer the way things turned out. Everyone saw how you were the fastest horse by far and away! Millions love you now. We love you Z and we’re all safe now. That is a wonderful thing…see you out at the barn real soon!

Hi Z, you are a truly amazing horse, you didnt have to prove anything to me or your fans! Even though I wish that the finish line would have been two steps farther I’m just glad you came out of the race ok, you have given me more joy watching you run then any horse that I have ever seen.
Lots of love and a big Thank you!
Erin
Zenyatta,
You were running him down. One more stride and you would have passed him. You just ran out of track.
You are a wonderful girl and we all love you and are so happy for all your accomplishments.
Be safe and have a lot of fun with whatever you do next. I know you enjoy attention and you have the moves – have you considered dressage?
Erick
Spectacular. Thank You.
Jane Moody
Oh Zenyatta, what a fabulous girl you are!
You ran your heart out at that race in Kentucky once you realized dirt in the face was part of it (icky for us girls, I know); You blew us all away as you always do. Little different this time going straight back to the barn but all that cheering was for you!! You were sensational. Be specially nice to Mike because he felt sad that the horse beside you was half a nose in front. Humans are funny about stuff like that. But it doesn’t matter one whit. You’re back home now where everyone loves you. Happy grazing!
Gayle Clark
You make us feel special too. Please give our love to Mike and team Z as well.
