To all my dear, loving fans,
I want to THANK all of you for your support, encouragement and love.
I gave it a good GO in the Breeders’ Cup Classic…and tried my best! I’m home now at my Hollywood Park Barn. The flight back to California was great. My friends, Mario, Frank and Harmonious, traveled on the plane with me. It was a smooth trip!
The last week has been exciting and thrilling! I had a great time in KY and everyone was so kind to me. I posed for hundreds and hundreds of photos yesterday alone with so many fabulous fans. They brought me Z cakes, apples, peppermints, and carrots. They hugged me, kissed me, and made me feel so special. I am one lucky mare.
Then when I got back to the barn there was a great WELCOME HOME ZENYATTA sign hanging at the barn. People signed it with such sweet messages for me! Everyone makes me feel so special.
Today, I’ll walk and relax a bit and, of course, GRAZE! LUCKY ME!
Hugs to all…and again…THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for being so loving and supportive of me and all of TEAM ZENYATTA.
With great appreciation…
Love,
Z

Enjoy being home, true Horse of the Year 2010, and true Co-Horse of the Year 2009!
I watched an unearthly performance whenever I watched you race. One of a kind! Simply the Best, Queen Z.
A Living Legend.

Thanks for the past three years. Have a great retirement!!!!!!

I watched every second of that race. You are a Winner! The jockey held you in the gate just 2 seconds too long. I will name my next dog after you. My last dog was a beautiful Doberman named “Ruffian.”

So glad you are back in CA safely.
If you only had a few more feet of track, you would have for surely won.
You have won my heart and the hearts of a zillion people all over the world.
Your majesty, personality, and joyful habits have conquered all of us! Oh, and that other thing too, your athletic ability!

Zenny,
You are no less special today than you were last Friday. You are one for the greatest horses I have had the pleasure to watch race. I hope I see many of your foals grow to be as good as you. No horse eas as exceptional as you in the Breeder’s Cup Saturday. You came from last place in a matter of seconds that I have yet to see equaled. You will always be my champion.

Thank You for bringing back the fun and excitement of horse racing. You are truly the greatest horse i have seen or will see in my lifetime. You are spectacular!!!! Thank You!!!!!!!
Ingrid
I don’t care what anyone says, Zenny. You’re still a CHAMPION in my book. And 50 years from now when someone asks about the Greatest Racehorse Ever, there’ll only be ONE answer – The Super Mare, ZENYATTA. My only regret is that I never got to see you race live (bad enough having heart palpitations watching your come-from-behinds on TV!!).
While it would thrill me – and all your fans – immensely to see you race again, you’ve earned your retirement, and I look forward to cheering on your super-fillies in a few years. OK, maybe your sons, too. But any filly with you for a mom is going to be a rocket on the track!
Thanks for all the thrills and excitement you brought to racing – the sport needs more thoroughbreds like you! But there will NEVER be another Zenyatta – you’re The Queen of the Track, my girl! I’ll never forget the Greatest Horse in Racing.
A Forever Fan,
Ingrid

We still love you Z and think you are still the greatest race horse ever.

You are one special, beautiful lady, Zenyetta. It’s easy to love a perfect winner, it’s devotion to love someone more human…er…more horsey. I’m totally devoted!!!

Thanks for showing the fighting spirit this weekend and being such a gracious horse. Keep us in touch with your journeys.

How can we say good-bye to our queen. You have given so many people so much joy I am finding it so hard to think about not seeing you again. My husband and I have traveled to see you twice now I only wish I would have done more. You take care and so happy you came home safe and still perfect in most everyone’s eyes

Team Zenyatta, Thank you for taking us on this wonderful ride. You have done more for the sport of horse racing than any other horse in my lifetime. One race doesn’t define the legacy, Zenyatta doesn’t have anything left to prove… her record speaks for itself. Too me, she is the GREATEST race horse of all time. She was so much fun to watch, on and off, the track. Thanks again!
Kelly
We Love You Zenyatta, You are the Most beautiful, courageous Horse of all time, I think You should challenge Blame to a match race, I know you would kick his butt!! You are the best!!!! OXOXOXOXOXOXO

Z, so glad you are home. I wish you could stay in California. I hope to get a chance to visit you while you are here. Love
Jane Ramey
A horse with the heart the size of yours, your gental nature and you love for people set you apart. It was a joy to watch you at the Breeders Cup. It has been a privilage. Having raised horses for 34 years …sometimes, some how, there is a very special horse born. I know what that is like.
Enjoy your life … admirably,
Jane

I got interested in Z while watching 60 min and was in love with her. Happy Grazing and I wish I could meet you some day. God does grace us with such amazing animals.
Holly Weeks
You are a legend. You gave it your all and that what counts. There will never be another horse like you and we thank your owners for sharing you with us. Hope you get to come back to Kentucky. You couldn’t ask for a better jockey also.
Anja
Thank you Zenyatta! You are always a winner in my book! Lots of hugs….

Dear Zennie,
You are an inspiration to us all, and Horse of the Year in everyone’s book! Did you know that Joe Drape of The New York Times called you not only Horse of the Year, but Horse of a Lifetime? I am sure the humans close to you feel the same.
You have accomplished so, so much … congratulations on all! The icing on the cake of course, is your sweet and engaging personality.
Have a good rest, lots of delicious grazes, and when you are ready, make beautiful and fast babies!
My love to you …
Maxine

Zenyatta – you won as far as I’m concerned. I’ve never seen a race like you ran. From so far behind – one more stride and you would have won number 20. You are magnificent and beautiful. Enjoy your Guiness and pastures.
