Happy Tuesday DEAR FRIENDS!
I am still basking in the after glow of MY PARTY! You know how performers in Broadway Plays wait up for reviews after opening night…well, the same is true of ME in this situation. Something like this has never been done before in our sport, so we wanted to be sure all went extremely well! The overall consensus is that it was TERRIFIC! Yippee!
I’ve heard that ESPN discussed MY PARTY on National Television. Then the NY TIMES had a piece on MY PARTY as well. The link to that article is here so you may read it! It is all TOO CUTE!
Dottie mentioned that many of YOU took photos at the event. If you’d like to share them with the rest of us, please post them on your FACEBOOK pages and tag ZENYATTA. This will allow them to also appear in my photo gallery. I’d so love to see all of you again having FUN and TOTALLY ENJOYING YOURSELVES.
At the end of the day, all of this is meant to be one thing…FUN!
I know many of you commented to Dottie at the party that you really enjoy reading MY DIARY each day. Not only that but you share my various daily updates with your family and friends. Several of you also mentioned that you and your co-workers start each day in your office reading the DIARY updates. Thank you so much! This is all so special to ME!
Then along the way, another very special thing has happened with all of this! In some way, we have all become special friends and like one big family. The responses in the Diary comments are so dear and caring. Thank you for all of the kindness you share with ME and each other. As I said a few moments ago, this is all meant to be FUN!
Enjoy your day!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

To All Who have posted commentary and pictures re. THE PARTY- Thank you so much for sharing the joy and happiness with those of us who could not attend this time.

Love the picture of Ann and Sarah with Her Majesty! Three beautiful girls for sure. It might interest people to know that bloggers over at Bloodhorse (including myself) have commented on how this year’s classic really brought home how special Zenyatta was and is. Not only her 2009 Classic but also her 2010 Classic. As people noted, if you didn’t appreciate her before (hard to believe I know), you sure do now. Her races were heart stopping, brilliant, and racing at its very best in every respect. She brought personality and life to a sport that sorely needed it.

Kari Bussell, you are in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Your Z Dumplings are the greatest people I know…. all from the heart of their being. WOW, girl, where else does this exist? None in existence anywhere that I ever found…. only here at Zenyatta.com does the true essence of Zenyatta’s aura shine through with life, as the luminous radiance lights each and every heart and soul with an atmosphere of heartfelt love, caring, happiness and of YOU…thank you our heart of hearts…and may dreams of Zennyland always be a blessing to each and everyone to touch our lives…I love you all more and more in this Zennyland of my dreams…..especially you – The Queen of that dream…..

@Maddy—-Nice post! Say hi to your granddad from us.
@Abigail in Montreal—I loved your post! You drew such a charming picture of your earlier days of diary writing and then articulated so well the specialness of the community built here on Z’s diary site. And high hoof to you on that formulation, “with ‘your Likeness’,” resonating with reverberations of “your Highness!” Love it! Thanks, also, for the great link to Steve Haskin’s photos of Z, Rachel, Hot Dixie Chick, and Curlin.
@Barbara Grimaldi—Great video of the dashing dancing Shackleford! I love him too!
@Delrene—Thanks for that link on #372 about the lad from Ireland invited to sing his song at the BC. We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop when the rained-out carousel visit is rescheduled.
@Robin in Ventura and others interested—A carousel date will be posted here, but if you would like to get on the e-mail list for planning and updates, you can e-mail me at trinambn@yahoo.com.
@Anne in Paramount—Loved your posts about the BC, and your kind words about my poems. Much appreciated.
@Karen Gogue—Thanks for the great link to photos from the BC. I especially liked the photo of the very gracious Chantal interacting with that very charming and totally admiring young fan after the Classic. Beautiful!
@All who commented on the birthday poems, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Zenny, I’m sure you’re already sleeping, but maybe you’ll read this in the morning when you wake up. Sue Fredrick, who was at your party, mentioned that the group Chicken Grease played a new song there about you. She said that everyone loved it! When will we get to hear it, if I may inquire? Sleep tight now, Zenny, till the morning light.

Great pics from Monday’s and today’s diary posts! Thanks so much to everyone who attended Z’s party and gave us a description. So sorry to hear about Kari–best wishes to her and her family. Also, condolences to all the Canadians who are missing their great champion Grand Prix stallion. What a sad story, but thanks, Abigail for the info. Hope we’ll be able to buy one of those posters!

How touching your words are. I DO feel so close to you and Dottie and John and everyone. I feel like this community IS almost a family and I love reading the comments, though I seldom write and am a lurker, you guys are very special to me. I share what’s going on with you with my family and they love hearing the news everyday.
Would love to hear what you thought of the BC races and their results. It was an unusual and interesting weekend of racing, imo.

Oh, and also, what did you think of your half-sister selling for over a million dollars at the sale recently?
