Happy Monday Everyone,
We have just completed another very exciting weekend of racing with many full fields and competitive events. Congratulations to all of the winners and their connections! To win a race at any level is a big accomplishment…and to win a graded stake is truly something to be cherished.
I sincerely want to send a HIGH HOOF to FRANKEL for his victory on Saturday at Ascot. It is with great respect that I want to congratulate him on his undefeated record that is now 9 for 9. This wonderful colt is competing at the highest level in our sport….and his continued success is something to be treasured!
While at Keeneland, MY JOHN visited with TIGER again….the adorable pony in this photo. Tiger was there last year with his connections when MY JOHN went to Keeneland to run Harmonious. He is laughing here as it reminds him that ALL HORSES ARE “TOO CUTE”. They simply come in various shapes and sizes blessed with different capabilities and goals! This thought is so true…and can be applied to so many different aspects in all levels of life.
Just thinking…only 18 days until Breeders’ Cup….and this means….only 18 days until MY PARTY. Wow! This is all so exciting. Also, I can’t wait to share with YOU what MY JOHN whispered in my ear when we visited.
With Love,
Hugs to All~

For “Z” Friends who would like to share a mid-day Prayer:
………………………………
Creator blest, filled with grace. We proclaim your greatness and trustfully ask:
Make our day happy, without disturbance,
so that when we reach evening we can praise you
joyfully with peaceful hearts.
May your radiance shine on us through the day,
guide the work of our hands.
Watch over us: let us do good in peace
and do what is right, with the strength you give us.
Look kindly on all who have asked for our prayers
and fill them with good things, both in body and in soul.
Lord, give us your Spirit.

Zenyatta, that tiny clip of you and Tasty shown on NBC/You Tube made my day. You truly are BFFs – will you continue to share a paddock after your foals are born?
@ all, enjoy this wonderful fall day.
Dawn Conrad
Dear Zenytatta. What a picture! It just brings the biggest smile to my face. Tiger is a cutie, that’s for sure and John is just beaming. He is such a special man. Can’t wait to hear his secret! I agree, Zenny, everyone has something special about themselves that can be shared with others to make a better world. Loved seeing the short video of you on NBC, it is always so wonderful to see you so happy and healthy. You deserve the very best, Zenny. The racing over the weekend was fantastic, especially your very talented friend, Fankel. I think Bobby must be whispering in his ear and giving him wings each time he runs. It is amazing to see. How it must touch Dottie’s heart! Still excited for your party!! I will be there in spirit my beautiful girl and look forward to stories, videos and pictures of the event. Love you to the moon and back. Give TT my best wishes. Sweet dreams. Hugs and kisses.
@Kimberly Potter – How exciting, just one more day until you get to see your little sweetheart born. I will be praying for a safe delivery for both Mom and baby. Will be looking forward to the happy news!
@DJ – Hello my friend. Enjoyed seeing your post. Always love your prayers, they are food for the soul.
@JAG – Your weekend sounds like so much fun!!!! Thanks for sharing.
@Kennedys in San Diego – I am so glad I got to see Zenyatta’s stall in June. It is very fitting that Ebby is now the new resident and to have Mario taking care of her has to be such a joy for him. I too thought she had grown since seeing her in June.
@Joana – What a wonderful time you must have had at Ascot. Seeing Frankel in person would have to be amazing. I have a friend who grew up in England and did alot of riding, both in racing and cross-country. She is always sharing stories, which I love.
@#1 New England Fan – Too true! Handsome Mike on Handsome Mike, now that is fun!
@Denise in AZ – Still in my thoughts and prayers.
@All Zsters – Wanted to post the link to the full interview of Jerry and Ann Moss at UK during Keenland, just in case you did not see it previously.

Catching up on the posts. @signofthetimes-It was a long time before I knew the reason why horses who lose their jockeys are disqualified. And, when I did, I slapped the side of my head and said to myself of course. That was 40 some odd years ago. @Debbie G- You will be happy to know that more information is included at the end of my post as to how you can help the downtrodden NBA players. @Deborah Richman-Hope you had a good one. @Marshall-Thank you. @Anne from Paramount-Always good to see you posting. Glad you and Rod are enjoying the jokes. @Rod-Happy Birthday! @Kimberly Potter-Wonderful news. @Diana S (president), Denise in AZ and Rosemary McCauley-You might be an Arizona/California redneck if you own a membership to a chaw of the month club. @Judy Berube, president, NE chapter-You might be a redneck if your job is breeding Chia pets. @Susan in TN and Kari Bussell-You might be a redneck if you get on TV because you can play the banjo with a weed eater. You might be a redneck if you own a CD titled “Belching Beethoven.” You might be a redneck if you’ve ever waxed your car with cream cheese. You might be a redneck if your best friend is a raccoon. Today’s joke-As with yesterday, it sounds like a public service announcement but is an addendum to previous information. HOW WILL I KNOW I’M HELPING? Each month you will receive a complete financial report on the player you sponsor. Detailed information about his stocks, bonds, 401(k), real estate, and other investment holdings will be mailed to your home. You will also get information on how he plans to invest the $5 million lump sum he will receive upon retirement. Plus, upon signing up for this program, you will receive a photo of the player. The photo will be unsigned. For a signed photo, please include an additional $500.00. Put the photo on the refrigerator to remind you of other people’s suffering. HOW WILL HE KNOW I’M HELPING? Your basketball player will be told that he has a special friend who just wants to help in a time of need. Although the player won’t know your name, he will be able to make collect calls to your home via a special operator just in case additional funds are needed for unexpected expenses. (More details to be revealed tomorrow).

@signofthetimes-I don’t think I put that right. I meant to add that it was a long time before someone told me. I did not mean to imply that it was a duh situation.

Hi Zenny,
Tiger is TOO CUTE too! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful photo.
@Teresa E, I am an ordinary fan & I was blessed and got to meet Zenny the day after she won #19. I held my breath every time she ran praying that what happened to the great Ruffian did not happen to Z too. While I miss not seeing her run anymore, a part of me is greatful that she is retired. Her connections have been and still are more than generous with her. Please respect that and be thankful that we, the fans, have as much access to her as we do, thru her wonderful connections.

When I was watching Frankel on Saturday and he started to draw away from the rest of the field, there was something about his stride and the way he was holding himself that reminded me very strongly of Zenyatta. An unexpected pleasure on top of the expected pleasure of seeing him run. As always, thank you to all of Zenyatta’s family for sharing her.
Susan in TN
@Kimberly Potter: Hurray! October 18 sounds like a wonderful birthday! Thinking of you all!
@The Kennedys: Thanks for Barn 55 update! I am happy to hear that E is in Z’s old stall and that Mario will be watching out for her!!
@Quarterhossgal: How is Bailey?
@Terry Crow: Well, charity begins at home…

Frankel being undefeated reminds me of another great horse I was privileged to see win her races! Miss you, Zenyatta!

Oooh, can’t wait to hear the news!!! I have a hunch I might know what it is, but may be wrong. Tiger is just way TOO CUTE!!! How adorable. Since you already sent a HIGH HOOF to Frankel, I’d like to send one to Sarah Lynx, who crushed 15 boys in the Canadian International at Woodbine yesterday. did it Zenyatta-style too, coming through the rail and bursting away. That was eye-popping! Take care Zenyatta, can’t wait for the announcement.

HI LUV,

Zenyatta,
Happy Monday. Nice picture of John and pony Tiger. What a treat to see you and Tasty on Sat. durning the racing program. You both look lovely. :) Can’t wait to see Ms E. in her new stall. What happened to all of your stuff that was in there!! Keep healthy and happy Big Mama.
@ Dawn Conrad, love reading all of your posts.

TIGER is too cute! I wish that I could attend your party, but I will be there in spirt. HUGS and KISSES to you Z and baby Z/B.
The Kennedys in San Diego
While at Hollywood Park on Sunday, we made a Farewell Visit to Blind Luck. She looked healthy and happy particularly after I fed her carrots — her favorite. Her cat and very pregnant goat were close by. A lovely time with her as we thanked her for all the thrills she gave us and wished her the very best in continuing her racing career or in her next career as a broodmare. We encouraged her to stay in USA so that we can follow her and watch her foals race one day. And we suggested she make a hasty exit if she is handed a passport and finds it is an international flight.
We will post photos later today on BL’s website.

Awwww…can’t say who’s cuter – Tiger or John. Dottie is so lucky to be married to John – he always looks so happy!!

@Dawn Conrad, thank you so much for posting the UK Agriculture School interview with Ann and Jerry Moss (John and Dottie too). Thoroughly enjoyed it. They are really wonderful people. I had no idea Ann was involved in helping the dolphins. Very impressive. I wish Blind Luck had connections who would retire her to Kentucky. Ann and Jerry Moss are truly the gold standard of horse ownership.
