Happy Friday, Everyone!
Suddenly it has become a bit chilly in Lexington. I need to have MY cozy blanket on for my early morning grazing fun with Matt! It is pretty out, though! The fall leaves will start to change soon…and the added color will really make the trees look amazing! This is MY first ‘fall’ in this regard for many years. In California, the seasons do not change as prominently as they do in Kentucky!
I am so pleased that YOU really like the idea of MY PARTY. So many fans have already responded and purchased tickets. If you have done so already…you are definitely in the first 500…so do not worry. The computer people are getting this refined for you so the people purchasing tickets in the future will know this information right away. This should all be completed today. Thank you for your patience!
I am also so excited about the incredible weekend of racing we are all going to be able to enjoy. From the East Coast to West Coast, it is one contentious stakes race after another with so many of the results having Breeders’ Cup ramifications. I love the fact that Havre de Grace and Blind Luck are each performing at such a high level. Their races are going to be so exciting! (I have a special fondness for the LADY’S SECRET which runs this weekend.) Then to see all of the other possibilities…whether turf or dirt for so many other terrific horses…will make handicapping GREAT FUN this weekend!
I can’t wait!
All the best to each of the horses competing during the next few days! All of my pals at Lane’s End and I will be watching!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Absolutely no racing on TV today here in Fort Erie. I wish I could find a provider that has racing, and tomorrow it will be Woodbine and Belmont again. I miss out on all the fun.
@ Judy B – I forgot to tell you how much I enjoyed your BL Saratoga video, If I could have another career I would wish to be BL’s caddy and follow her around carrying her equipment as she takes all those wonderful pictures.

@Brenda S
Do you not have satellite TV?
Brenda S..
signofthetimes – No satellite, just cable and my provider is changing everything over to digital. There are only two providers here and, as far as I can tell, neither of them have HRTV but I’m still investigating. The satellite provider gives me lots more channels but no HRTV and I only watch about 10 channels now. I want HRTV or least ESPN.

@Vicki B-Thanks for the link to Oreo’s story. Inspirational for those who miss canine friends. Today’s joke–Billy-Bob says to Lester, “You know, I reckon I’m ready for a vacation, only this year I”m going to do it a little different. The last few years I took your advice as to where to go. You said go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii and Marie got pregnant. The next year, you said to go to the Bahamas. I went to the Bahamas and Marie got pregnant again.” Lester says, “So what you gonna do different this year?” Billy-Bob says “This year, I’m taking Marie with me.”

That is terrible so sorry to hear that.
Guess this site and all the posting
Of links is really helpful. I know last
Week my TV was out and it was a life
Saver. Let me know if you want to
See a race that is not posted. I don’t
Mind looking them up and quite a few
Of us usually get most of them posted.

Maybe TP can talk some sense into MR.
Running Mo in BCC is going to get him
Nothing ( eclipse) or do you know of an equine
With only two good races in a year getting
An Eclipse?? He should run him next year
And go for Champion older male/HOY when
He can get it. What do you think?

Hey! Question! Is Vertigineux in foal to Street Cry? Have they matched those 2 again? I have been wondering about that. V is getting up there in years. Do mares menopause? Crazy question, I know, but I figure if I want an answer about stuff like this, here is the place to ask it!
