Good Morning,
We are really enjoying rather pleasant weather in Lexington these days. My pal, Tasty Temptation, and I were out in our paddock and suddenly we decided we would ‘scratch each other’s back’. As you can see, Mathea was there just at that moment and took the perfect photo of us. I scratched TT’s back…and she sweetly gave me a nice little back rub at the same time. I must say that she and I are really dear friends. We get along beautifully.
I know about TEAMWORK…as I have been part of a TEAM my entire racing career. Thus, I know how truly important it is to work together to achieve goals. It is so nice to have a friend there to help you out when needed.
With Love,
Hugs to All~

@Denise in AZ~ We could not be more proud of our Little Leaguer”s from Billings. The first time in Little League History a Montana team made it. They did awesome! By the way, I am in Helena, about 3.5 hours west of Billings. :)

Love the photo Zenyatta! I have a 17 hand Tennessee Walker that does that with our 13 hand Spotted Saddle horse although due to the height difference the Walker only gets his side scratched.
Ingrid Arnone
Dear DJ, your prayers in this moment that we have so much pain, they are just perfect, hugs Ingrid.

Zenny, what good friends you and Tasty T have become. There’s nothing more irritating than an itch you can’t get to and so you scratch each other’s back, that is just TOO CUTE. You look the picture of health with your dapples and perfect perky ears sharing space under your tree with Tasty T and Matt.
@ Kimberley P – Just thinking about meeting up with so many dumplings is exciting.
@ Arlene – No words can express how sorry I feel. Nature can be hard to bear at times and I can only send good wishes to you.
Happy homecoming to Noor. Rest in Peace in your Kentucky Bluegrass.

@ Kari – Thanks for Joy to the World Kari, I don’t know how you do it but you do and it brings us Joy. Three Dog Night played a concert here on Friday night, couldn’t believe it was them when I first saw the ad, thought it was a tribute group, so I didn’t pay any more attention. Wrong!!! Missed them!

@Susan in TN: I’m currently studying to be a veterinary technician (the so called “nurse” of the animal world). But I’m looking into pursuing a degree in Equine Science after I get my degree as a Vet Tech. As I mentioned in my post to Signofthetimes, Ruffian is my all-time favorite filly. Secretariat is my all-time favorite horse. One had to be put down due to leg injuries, the other due to foot problems (laminitis). They were the horses of my childhood and their deaths affected me deeply. Zenyatta is my all-time favorite mare, so I have room enough in my heart and soul to love all three equally. Any ways, my ultimate goal is to: work in research (either by finding ways to drastically reduce breakdowns, assist in finding a cure for laminitis, or work as a pedigree advisor), or to work with broodmares (the under-appreciated side of breeding), or to work with retired/rescued thoroughbreds and standardbreds as therapy horses. I’m sure a lot will have to depend on the curriculum and how soon I can complete my degree. It’s not as if I’m getting any younger. I’m more than twice the age of the typical college student. As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts I completed my first career in the Navy, and now I’ve been given an opportunity to work towards a second career in a field that I’ve loved since childhood. Thanks for asking.
@Kimberly Potter – it was a lot of work, but its work which was both interesting and eye-opening for me.

Sue Fredrick
Oh Zenny what a cute picture of you and Tasty T (love that name) your BFF. How any one of us could wish you back to the racetrack after seeing you so happy doing ‘horsey’ things, is beyond me. I only wish we could see you once, that’s all. As for your ears, well you’d look pretty silly with tiny little ears as big as you are…..they fit you to a T.
@Kari B, thanks for another great video I saw pics of Z in it I had never seen before. And its always a treat to see that handsome Bernie….Love it.
@Arlene, gosh I feel so bad for you with all that damage, I hope you get lots of help cleaning up.
@Just got word on my virtual stable that “Crazy Party”, the AP Indy filly that won at Saratoga is running tomorrow in race 8 at Saratoga on turf, for anyone interested.

@Sue Fredrick. That’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw the above pic of Z and TT, so happy and content in that pasture, “just being a horse”. I’m glad to see that someone thought the same thing. I’m so happy for her.
