Happy Thursday,
The weather is continuing to be very pleasant here in Lexington. I am outside quite a bit these days with my pal, Tasty Temptation. We are having such a great time together and are both doing very well.
As a matter of fact, David stopped by to visit last night when leaving the office, and called Dottie and John to tell them how AMAZING I LOOK! Blush, Blush! He said my friend, TT, also looked wonderful!
One of the visitors that accompanied Jim Rome to see ME on Friday was Rex Chapman. Rex is from Kentucky and played basketball for UK as well as in the PROS. It was so much fun to visit with these guys as I really do love all sports. Being that both Rex and I are professional athletes, we have a great deal in common.
What is truly adorable…is the photo above! Rex and Jim are taking a picture of ME while Sarah is taking a picture of them. They are in their ‘let’s get a terrific photo of Z poses’. Gotta’ love this!
I would imagine, this is something which happens much more than one would think when people are taking pictures. I used to see this all of the time when I was at BARN 55. The fans would be taking pictures of ME…and MY JOHN ultimately has lots of pictures of them all taking MY picture. It just kind of happens!
As a matter of fact, the other afternoon Dottie was at BARN 55 and she noticed my little sister, Eblouissante, doing something in her stall which reminded her so much of ME! (I guess ‘E’ and I do have several mannerisms which are very similar.) In this particular instance, ‘E’ was resting her head on top of the haynet and looking around the barn watching everything going on. I used to do this, too, all of the time. In truth, I never wanted to miss a thing!
Well, at that moment, the same type of thing happened. MY JOHN captured the photo of Dottie taking a picture of “E”….just like Sarah did with Rex, Jim and ME!
So many things that happen like this just make ME smile. I would imagine if you look through your family albums and photos, you’d have several of these types of shots as well. People can be TOO CUTE in so many ways!
I hope you enjoy the photos of my pals, Jim and Rex, ME, my adorable fans,
and my darling 2 year old sister, ‘E’.
With Love,
Hugs to All~(Have a FUN DAY…and SMILE!)

Dear Zenyatta I love every picture of you there is not a bad one.I also love the picture of E looking out of her stall. Please tell Dottie she looks beautiful in her heels :) I had the most amazing day I spent it with Brooke and her mother along with 7 of the most amazing horses. I was in heaven. I met Dusty and let me say she is remarkable. Gentle and intelligent. She has battle scars from her racing days. This made me cry. How any person could hurt her just makes my blood boil. Now she has a really nice home with a special little girl who loves her so much. Dusty let Brooke’s mom and I saddle her which took a little time since we had a little trouble figuring out the bridle. Dusty was so patient with us. Bless her heart. I was able to kiss Dusty and touch her everywhere. She is just a special girl. When Brooke was on her she walked slowly and carefully. Brooke is just learning and a little afraid. When I got on Dusty she came to life. It was as if she could sense a more experienced rider. She has a lot of spirit while still being sweet. All the horses were just so gentle. We walked around them and touched them. I helped to feed them. I love the hay smell :) They are all rescues. They enjoyed the carrots and peppermint treats. I will take a lot with me to Kentucky. Brooke and her mother are both such good people. I feel blessed to have them in my life. All I can say is who needs a therapist when all you need is to spend time with a horse. Horse Therapy :)
Zenny we talked about you a lot. We told Dusty that when she was running we thought she could keep up with you. Well my sweet Queen I hope you have sweet dreams. I love you and send Big Hugs and Many Kisses.(I love horse kisses) XXXOOO
@ Kim thank you :)
@ Lisa G Mo is a real good typer and even wrote a letter to my class :) Too cute. Thank you for the nice comments about the children. At the end of the year they were all yelling Go Mo Go with their Mo hats on.

Ana…I am so sorry that you can not appreciate the little things in life that bring so many of us a little extra joy. I can pretty much assure you that each of us lives in reality 23 hours a day…but we get to have a little time each day to communicate with one of Gods most precious creatures, who has inspired and lifted us up during her career and now as she prepares to be a Mom. We get to have access to a person (Dottie) who’s heart must be as big as Z’s, based on the time she puts into keeping us all in the loop.
To Zenny and Dottie…I say THANK YOU!!
Janie
@ Gloria Jeanne: I looked at your pictures on Facebook of Zenyatta’s retirement party at Hollywood Park and there’s me and my sister up on the “balcony” in the background. She’s wearing a pink top and I’m wearing the turquoise (or teal) right next to her. We also got alot of great pictures that day. Thanks for sharing!

Dear Sharon Call and Terry Crow:
Here’s another article on LAT Hearing. It doesn’t look like they’re making any headway on taking responsibility. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/63812/veitch-some-friction-among-khrc-staff

Hi Big Mama, wow to be that close to you and taking pics…..what fun. You look stunning, just brimming with health. Your little(?) sis looks marvelous too. I just hope we can keep from comparing her racing to you she couldn’t possibly be the same there’s only one of you.
@Ana, every party has a pooper and I guess you are ours……grow up!
@Barb France, congrats on your new plate you will have such fun meeting people and spreading the word…..ZENYATTA!
@Kari good luck on your move, hope all goes well and you love your new place.
@Dottie, you look zensational, like a movie star, but then you are a star aren’t you, forever connected to Z.
Luv you Z and kisses on your nose

@Judy Berube. Thanks, as always, for the link on Alleged. What a touching story. It does make one wonder what happened to him during the course of his life to turn him from a tractable horse to one so angry and defensive. There’s no way of knowing now unless someone ‘fesses up and that’s not likely to happen. It makes me so grateful that Z is where she is and is owned by the Mosses. They won’t let anything bad happen to her. If by some chance something did, I am completely confident that every Z fan in the country would have something to say/do about that in a hurry!

@ DOTTIE!!! I remember reading an article about how you and JOHN met for a first date. He said something about you were wearing an outfit that showd your legs… and he liked what he saw – BLUSH BLUSH! John’s a “leg man” not just with his horses but with his wife!!!(wink wink) That’s a compliment, Dottie!! You go girl!

@Judy Gerube and Terry Crow. Re Life At Ten. Grumble, Grumble, Grumble!!! What else can I say. What a lot of nonsense! You’re right, Judy, they’re not making any headway at all – just running like a rat in a wheel or should I say like rats in a wheel. Grumble!
