Good Morning,
I wanted to give you an update on HOW I AM DOING! I am eating very well…no surprise there…and enjoying myself tremendously. My number of treats is being monitored (as it should be) and I am drinking lots of water each day and nothing else.
As you can see, I do have a bit of a BABY BUMP. I am HAPPILY gaining a few pounds…right in the middle. As many of you may know from your own personal experiences, this is what happens when you are having a baby!
In the responses, many of you have asked about my actual breeding date. It was on April 3rd. Time is flying by so quickly. Another fun fact to note is that my paddock pal, Tasty Temptation, was also bred on the very same day. She was bred to Candy Ride and is also in foal.
Thus, Tasty T. and I have a great deal in common. We are both experiencing the exact same stages of our pregnancies together.
In looking at this photo, the clouds look amazing in the background. The sky is gorgeous…and the Kentucky Blue Grass is so lush. My friend, Matt, also looks good! He is so sweet and I so appreciate the fact that he will spend the one-to-one time grazing me like this!
As for ME, I think I look pretty terrific in this picture! (Blush, Blush) My coat looks fabulous, my dapples are glowing and I do think my overall appearance is TOO CUTE!
I’ll keep you posted and updated on what I’m doing as we go along. I’m still very busy with my friends and all of my charity work! The other day Lane’s End told ME that I recently raised $8,500 for a charity named RIDING FOR HOPE. ($2,500 for one of my halters and $6,000 for a visit with ME!)
This organization is one that “is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the health of children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with the horse”. **
I am so grateful to be able to HELP!
This concept of further developing your life in the midst of having a second career, in my case…having a baby, is quite gratifying! I am really trying to use my time wisely to help others and to do my very best to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
With Love,
Hugs to All~
Z

Zenny…you look beautiful and very content! The Life at Ten story is very sad. I feel the trainer TP should bare some of the blame for her going on the track, any good horseman could tell it was not a behavior problem but she was off(something was amiss). It would have been so easy to have a vet examine her in the paddock before she went to the track. We are all grateful she did not suffer a permanent injury!
Hailey
Z you are too cute !!!!!

Ohhhhhhh, my girl Zenny, your loved. Sassy

@Kathy Kimber, loved your mention of being a private in Zenny’s army. I guess I’m one too. But, what a General we have in the Queen herself!

Good Evening Queen “Z” You look simply marvelous! You are beaming as a mother to be should. Dottie thank you for the insight on the breeding date. I am sure all of us will be getting our calendars out waiting and praying that everything goes well for Zenny and her foal.
I haven’t had the time to sit and read the posts nightly as I usually do since my father is still here visiting. In as much as I will miss him, I think I miss reading and writing more on your site! Ha! Ha!
Again, you look wonderful and I am delighted things are progressing well.
Hugs and Kisses

I don’t know how I missed this Flash Mob Dance at Monmouth Park on June 4th. Someone might have already posted it but I didn’t have the time to go back and check all the posts since June 4th so I just posted it again.

Thanks for sharing the video on Sea the Stars. Do you remember when Zenny was going to retire in 2009, there was an article that John Sherrif’s mentioned Sea the Stars as a great match with Zenny. Don’t think she will be shipped around to be bred though. It would sure be wonderful if Sea and Galileo came to visit her.

Ooops !!!!
Treasure Beach is a colt, my mistake. Son of Galileo.
Would he be a nice match for you Zenny (Galileo) ????
He could also make a US tour with his son Sea.
