Happy Monday, Everyone!
Well, it is the beginning of another week! I truly can’t believe how quickly the time flies by! The Meet at Royal Ascot is complete, The Triple Crown is over for this year, and the VANITY HANDICAP (which was very exciting) has taken place.
Congratulations to all of the winners! I loved the fact that MY TEAM won a race on Vanity Day with LORO. It was TOO CUTE to see MY JOHN in the post-race interview on TVG. HE commented he was so happy the MOSS’ SILKS were able to be in the Winners’ Circle on this particular race day. I must say, I was too!
All is going very well for ME these days! As you can see in the photo above, I am one very happy, happy horse. I even have my own personal back-scratcher, the adorable Charles! He is always there to help me out if I need a hand with my back-scratching. I was out grazing a couple days ago and Charles was right there to help ME find that perfect “ITCHY” spot! What a guy!
Enjoy your week!
With Love,
Hugs to All~(Bernie, I was thinking of you yesterday. Hope you had a great Father’s Day!)

@Charlotte Farmer, Terry Crow, and all involved – great job bringing attention to Noor and enabling the proper burial at Old Friends where he will be admired and appreciated by visitors always. Perhaps for now you could add the donations address at the comments section below the article. Just the mention of John and Zenyatta should be a great help in getting the attention Noor deserves. Well done.

Don’t know how many of you watch the TV show American Pickers (History Channel), but you might want to check it out this week while the guys are in California. Half way thru the show they visit an old hippy in Malibu, I did a double take when I saw him wearing a Zenyatta hat from Hollywood Park.

@ Noor donations: Another thought, those of you with Facebook accounts could “recommend” the article on you pages and hope that others will repost. Probably would be good to add the donation address on the post as well.

Dear DJ: May be missing something farther up ^ but loved & agree w/ your, ‘There are more tears shed over answered prayers than unanswered ones!’ ~ Also, the notion of a great, good-humored God, and holy hilarity for the Creation — if we get it .. . Plus, that in gifts to composers, arrangers & musicians, this Creator loves song from the classics to jazz, and all the rest — in between & at the fringes.
Terry Crow
@DJ–Thanks for the note. I certainly did not mean to demean the lord. I know he has a sense of humor. If he didn’t, I wouldn’t be here.

@ Noor donations – I put this comment after recommending the article to friends – hope it helps and gets reposted.
“Old Friends is a farm in KY for retired thoroughbreds .It is open to visitors so you can see them in person. You can make a donation to Noor’s move to Old Friend’s by specifying” Noor” when donating to Old Friends. http://www.oldfriendsequine.org/“

To Amy K:
Thank you for your kindness. We might just have to settle for simulcasts of Saratoga races this year at our local casino. We wish you lots of good handicapping at Saratoga and enjoy the beautiful horses close up. Hugs, J.B.

Dear Mr. Terry Crow [your written wit sings on the screen, not a simple gift] & Susan in TN: Merely a small push from here [previous commitments], but hoping even little drops eventually fill the bucket list for Noor and every other good need of creatures great & small — most of all, changed human hearts and legislation where it counts.

To Terry Crow:
Thank you from Russ and I. We think that joke about praying at the race track is really very funny. I’ve called on HIM a time or two myself, especially in a close photo finish. Congrats to you, Diane and Charlotte Farmer for your success in bringing Noor to his final resting place at Old Friends. Hugs, J.B.

Beautiful Zenyatta, I see you have had your Lane’s End team in back scratching training, good girl, looks like they are quick learners. The two phrases from you that I like the most is “Too Cute” and “If I do say so myself”, the latter cracks me up every time you use it. If Dottie posted a picture every day with either quote beneath would be enough for me. Love you both for all you give to us, your loving subjects.

My Sweet Lady Zenyatta, You are so amazing to see. To me you are still larger than life with everything you have accomplished in your life. You have & will always mean so much to me. With the inspirations you have given me, I have started paying it forward in helping others~ animals & humans. Zenyatta, I share your story a lot with people about how much your 20th race means to me and how much God used you to help me. I know you get a lot of e-mails & letters but I just wanted you to know & I hope Dottie shares my thankfulness to YOU. I love you, Sweet Zenyatta!
