Happy Monday, Everyone!
Well, it is the beginning of another week! I truly can’t believe how quickly the time flies by! The Meet at Royal Ascot is complete, The Triple Crown is over for this year, and the VANITY HANDICAP (which was very exciting) has taken place.
Congratulations to all of the winners! I loved the fact that MY TEAM won a race on Vanity Day with LORO. It was TOO CUTE to see MY JOHN in the post-race interview on TVG. HE commented he was so happy the MOSS’ SILKS were able to be in the Winners’ Circle on this particular race day. I must say, I was too!
All is going very well for ME these days! As you can see in the photo above, I am one very happy, happy horse. I even have my own personal back-scratcher, the adorable Charles! He is always there to help me out if I need a hand with my back-scratching. I was out grazing a couple days ago and Charles was right there to help ME find that perfect “ITCHY” spot! What a guy!
Enjoy your week!
With Love,
Hugs to All~(Bernie, I was thinking of you yesterday. Hope you had a great Father’s Day!)

Hi Zenny, you look fabulous and very happy! I’m glad you have Charles to find that perfect spot.
I want to give Sarah a big thank you for always taking pics of Zenny so we can see how she’s doing and to Dottie for giving a voice to Zenny! It means a lot to me that I can still follow Zenny. Thank you!
Love to all,
Leslei

Hey Big Girl, you are starting to BLOOM!

So many people to thank for this wonderful site – I get a lift no matter what the day is like. It’s like the posts and the comments always “hit the right spot” !! As far as I’m concerned Dottie could write “too cute” 500 times as a daily post and I would be happy!

Ms Zenyatta, you are beautiful..so beautiful. I will scratch your back anytime; Charles, such a lucky guy. Sorry, I was late, my baby canine girl, is not feeling well, she will be OK. Such beauty, such awesome beauty. I love you Big Girl, will try to catch up with the posts later, have to get back to my lil canine girl. Thank you for the wonderful picture…Lisa g.

Wow! Another super photo from Sarah. I don’t know who I envy most, Sarah or Charles. You have the best caregivers Zenny, both in Ca and Ky. If Charles would like to take a break on July 21st I’d be just delighted to take over the back scratching role as well as giving a little hug and kiss.
@Sarah – please consider putting a portfolio of your photographs together and making them available for us to buy – I’m sure that they would be a #1 item and could help raise some funds for Zenny’s charitable causes. Love to you Momma.

You are forever in the Winner’s Circle, Zenny!

@Team Z – I congratulate you on your win with Loro. I am sure it is not the same thing without the Zenyatta there, but how sweet is must have been to stand in the winners circle. That is so cute about Charles and the back-scratching.
@Terry Crow – Thank you for the heads up. For some reason I am very nervous. Can’t wait to read the article on Noor and I have no doubt that Mr. Dwyre will do Noor justice.
@Margaret – I am not sure what you mean by, “the powers that be.” Who are we referencing? I agree that Dottie does deserve a special year end award for being Zenyatta’s scribe.
@Amy K – I loved your reference to the “Z Dumpling” gang and what would have been a hoot written up in the newspapers as “gaggle of gregarious . . .”

Zenyatta, that is another good looking picture of you and how funny with charles scratching your itch. It is very meaningfull to be a Queen and we are so proud of you and glad to see you doing well at Lanes End. I always wonder about how you are doing and if you are happy.I do like to see photos of you at Lanes End once in awhile. Thanks! Sending my love Queen Z and stay happy.

Hi Zenyatta. What a great photo and caption – too cute!!! You are so awesome and beaming as only an expectant mom can do. Congrats to John on Loro – it was a great race. So sorry to hear about Unrivaled Belle – so sad but thank God, she is retired and will be a broodmare next year. Watching the Vanity brought back such wonderful memories for hubbie and I to travel to Hollywood Park to see you run and win. Blind Luck is fabulous and St. Trinians ran her heart out as usual. What a great race. Zenyatta, stay comfortable, keep those great pics comin, eat well for two and have loads of fun with your BBFs. Love you, Angel in Disguise.

Hi Z…. I love seeing the current photos of you in your retirement. You deserve all the back scratching you want. You are the sweetest horse and you deserve that kindness given back to you. It looks like you have some great new friends who love you almost as much as Barn 55.

Dear Zenny
You are TOO CUTE. That magic spot. I believe
Tomorrow is Day 80 and I believe you now have
A rabbit that looks like a foal with hooves.
Have a good day grazing on that beautiful grass.

@devora Berlinger and Kiki Sim. Only stallions may be viewed at Lane’s End and the farm is generally closed until July 1, the end of breeding season. You should go to their web site, http://www.lanesend.com and, if you must, call their office. Give it a try, but I think it’s pretty unlikely that you will get in to see her.

Hi Zenyatta what a BEAUTIFUL GIRL you are. Sarah and Charles are so lucky to see you and touch you everyday. I was talking to a doctor today about you. He knew who you were. He had just come back from Lexington so I had to mention the Queen. I told him I would not be scared if you were there to hold my hand. I am glad today is over. I just want to thank Dottie for keeping us posted on you and racing. I am really getting into it. It is so much fun. Way To Go Team Z and Loro. I am always happy when John and Mr. and Mrs. Moss’s horses win :). I also enjoyed watching Awesome Maria win her race. She is Uncle Mo’s girlfriend, too cute :) Well my sweet girl have a good night and I just want to say you look radiant in your pregnant state. Hugs and Kisses, Shari XXXOOO

HERE”S THE REAL ZENMASTER!!!!!!
I have a fond remembrance of your 2009 Vanity.I was on the rail of the paddock taking photos of you. Doug O’Neil had been saddling his entry when YOUR John passes him to go and saddle you.Doug hopefully asks John “Hey you thinking about scratching Zenyatta? A 129 pound is alot of weight.I will never forget the knowning smile and chuckle John gave him in reponse. You were so wonderful that day. I was wondering if John may have a photo or explain where this extra weight is carried during a race. Let’s hope Loro wins the Vanity 3xs like you. PS The extra weight you are carry now makes you look even more beautiful
Kathy Kimber
Darling Zeny, you look beautiful. I’d scratch your back any time. Of course I’m short and would proably need something to stand on. TEE HEE. Tell your Dottie I think she is wonderful
