Dear Fans,

It has been such a wonderful day! I am bubbling over with the great fans I have and the wonderful support you are always giving me. I so appreciate ALL of your kindness.

In the recent weeks, I have been feeling TERRIFIC and doing VERY, VERY WELL! All of the THINGS in my life are fabulous! I know that so many of you have been contacting the farm to find out how I am doing. This is absolutely TOO CUTE!

EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY AND AT LANE’S END could not be HAPPIER for ME!

So, let’s keep HOOVES CROSSED that ALL continues to go this well!

    Story of Straight Flush is wonderful. So glad he had last eight years of his life in peaceful and loving care.
    Laura J. said in her post yesterday that Step had to pass his gate test today and get his Gate Card. Then he could be entered this Saturday. Don’t know if he got his Gate Card today. Hope so. I think Laura J. will let us know. Hugs, Judy B.

    @Peggy and @Judy, I just got a note saying that the track at CT was closed today due to rain, so Step did not get a chance to try for his card. Tomorrow, we hope! I’ll let you know.

    @ Kim Noble – I think Zenny is wearing a different halter than in the picture of post #244, you can see the tag clearly on there. This halter looks smaller, newer and has two holes left, the other was done up to the top.?? maybe it went up for auction or else it just broke, we have to see if she gets an other tag.

    Dear Zenny,you made my day with just the THOUGHT of what you might mean! But when the time comes,I won’t be thinking pink OR blue-I’ll be thinking BAY!We’ll all be winking,crossing limbs,eyes,etc.for you,sweet girl!     @Bridge: My daughter and I saw Jimmy Fallon the night it aired. We laughed until we cried,especially when Mo did the scratch-the-record thing! Too funny!

    @Charlotte Farmer:Thanks for info on Noor-I will look for that race.
    @Judy Berube(again!): Today at the horse rescue,I did some cleaning in the barn and had LOTS of help! There are two Arabians,an elderly pony and a very pregnant spotted saddle horse who have access to the barn.I,apparently,was the entertainment of the day! They are definitely not the shy ones! Then there are a yearling and two-year-old who have stalls that open to an enclosure outside. They were in and out (mostly in!) and were VERY interested in what I was doing.The two-year-old is shy whereas the yearling is almost a lap dog! So,I periodically stopped to pet them and give them carrots and just talked to them while I worked. Then a truck pulled up and a very elderly man got out and came over. He had owned the pregnant mare,the yearling,a stallion(who has been gelded) and two burros who are all there at the rescue. He obviously loves them and they were so glad to see him. He told me that he just couldn’t take care of them on his fixed income of $719.00 per month. He said he sure did miss them. He apparently comes out every day to see them.He must be in his eighties. He said he knew they were better off here. I felt like crying.

I said yesterday, I would say nothing more and wait to hear more from you!! Oooooo can’t wait! Zenny, I am so very excited to learn that John and Dottie will be at the Preakness with Mr. Commons. I forget – did you mention that Mr. Commons was a neighbor of yours back at Barn 55? Well, I’m going to the Preakness, so maybe I’ll get to see your John and Dottie. Wouldn’t that be something!
