@Susan in TN – just read your post about the rescue and the older gentleman. It was very touching. The man did the right, honorable, and loving thing, by giving them up to a rescue, and not sending them to auction. I’m happy that he can at least visit them….but it must be hard as well, as it was a loss in his life. Bless him.

Wink Wink indeed!!! WooHoo~ looking forward to the official announcement! 11 months is a long time to wait, but it goes by fast– my own mare is due the end of July. Hooves crossed!

@Judy Berube~ I received a “Zenyatta” Breyer for Mother’s Day from my Mom. I have it in my office at work and I love it so. I am still buying lottery tickets as well, maybe one day we can all have a Zenyatta Bronze.
@Laura J~ I would love to watch Step race and praying he gets his gate card in time for Saturday. :)
@Susan in TN~ How lucky you are to be able to volunteer at the Rivers Edge Rescue. I went to their website. What a wonderful place it is. I wish I could do that….sigh…but all I can do is send a donation. :)
@Zenyatta~ I love you with all my heart sweet girl!
Your #1 fan in Montana!

Hooves, fingers and STARS CROSSED! Good luck, Zenny! I appreciate that you’ve been holding out til it’s more certain so as not to get all of our hopes up too soon. Lots of love!

Oh Zenny. I had a life long dream of going to the Kentucky Derby this year but my BIGGEST dream was to come to Kentucky and see YOU! To my dissmay, tours are not allowed until after breeding season in July.
I drove to your farm and took pictures. That is all I have of my getting a close look at you. :( Maybe someday I will get to see you as I got to see the great Cigar.
Take care. Be healthy. Love you.

@ Laura J – Congrats on making it on the saturdaycard. Too bad he drew the one hole, lets hope for a safe trip!
LauraJ
@Eveline, thanks! Somebody has to be on the rail. I am just hoping for a good, fun experience for him the first time out. I need to see if my local track simulcasts races from CT.

I’ve been hoping for news of “how well you’ve been doing” (wink wink) and I’m so glad that you’ve “been doing TERRIFIC AND VERY VERY WELL”. So…I’m holding my breath….

Hi Beautiful Girl,
I’m playing catch-up today on your blog and soooo happy to read that you and Bernardini had another date. Hopefully everything goes well this time. You probably needed more let down time from racing. Don’t worry, everything will fine. I’m sure of that!
Charlotte Farina, your 5/17 blog about Noor was wonderful. It was very nice to read more of his history. He was a marvelous race horse. Some times foreign racers don’t get the same respect – to wit Exceller and Ferdinand. I think it is a wonderful undertaking to have his remains moved. Where are you thinking of re-interring him – Santa Anita, the Kentucky Horse Park…??? Good luck to your having a successful move and I’ll certainly watch the Epsom Derby race.
Zen, have a great day. You are missed on TV, The Blood-Horse and the race track!
Best to you and Dottie and all your old and new team members who keep the pictures and news coming to us.
