Good Morning,
Yesterday was such an amazing day! Ann, Dawn and Dottie all flew to San Francisco to attend the Professional Business Women of California Conference. It was held at the Moscone Center and attended by approximately 6000 people.
As Dottie has mentioned in the Diary before, I was the KICK-OFF for the INSPIRE portion of the program. Carolyn Johnson from ABC News San Francisco introduced Ann, Dawn, Dottie and ME! She stated several of my accomplishments and achievements. Then they played a 3 1/2 minute video showing my races, my dancing, my TEAM and my fans. It was beautifully edited and done! At this point, Dottie was reintroduced by the Chairman of the Organization, Ann, and she discussed how MY TEAM hopes I can be a true INSPIRATION to people in their lives and their careers!
As a surprise, the PBWC gave Ann, Dawn, and Dottie the plaque we are showing you in the photo…making ALL OF US Honorary Members. What an HONOR! They have so many distinguished and accomplished WOMEN in this group…but I believe I am the FIRST HORSE! This is absolutely a complete honor and TOO CUTE!
I want to THANK everyone who helped to make this happen. In particular, I’d like to thank LINDA who worked with Dottie on this project for months to be sure it all went very well.
It was a very exciting day!
With Love,
Hugs to All~(Especially LINDA…thank you again!)

Zenyatta – The Horse that had NO boundaries! :D Congrats!

@Heartbroken, the weaning process is a much kinder way of doing things than when the mare herself is left to enforce the weaning. A mare will often become aggressive toward the foal in order to wean it away from her. This, as you can imagine, can put the foal at great risk. These people love Zenyatta and will love the foal and will go above and beyond to ensure their safety.
Astrid
Zenny, hope you are enjoying your day! I so wished I could see you roll in the grass but you are teasing us :) You are too cute! Here is a cute video of Blue-Blue Sea rolling. That’s how I imagine you, those beautiful, powerful legs high up in the air! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blue-Blue-Sea/118845038198708
@ Patricia and @ Kathryn Cogswell – well said, thank you. Kathryn, your gelding sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing!
@ Linda – thank you for the update and all the hard work!
Sharon Call
@Heartbroken. Never, never take one person’s word for anything. Do your own research if you don’t know about something. You’ll be amazed at what you can learn this way.
@Kathryn Cogswell. Very well said and I share your sentiments. For a while there, I thought things were going smoothly on this site and then, wouldn’t you know it, out pops some more trolls. It’s always the best thing way to handle this by ignoring these poor, sad, negative people. Hopefully, their lives will smooth out and they will be happier.

More congratulations to “the great Zenyatta” and her wonderful Team Z! Woman Warriors All!!! Black Caviar is a beautiful mare who regularly beats the boys down under and is currently rated the #1 race horse in the world . She is presently undefeated – I believe this will be her 13th or 14th race – all in Australia. She also became the first horse to qualify for this years Breeder’s Cup. Dottie: Could NEVER begin to thank you enough for taking the time to keep us updated on the further adventures & accomplishments of our favorite heroine. Love hearing from Zenny on a regular basis & enjoy all your posts! They are “TOO CUTE”. . . . “TOO BAD” they are not appreciated by all the munchkins. Peace & Love
Elizabeth G.
Congratulations!!! May I have the honor of shaking your hoof?

@Val from Oz: Dottie works very hard to make this Diary of Zenyatta. She posts something almost every day, which takes hard work and lots of patience. I have to say, I appreciate Dottie’s work and dedication to keeping this website an interesting, informative, and user-friendly site about one of the best racehorses of all time. The least we can do is thank her for her hard work.
@ Zenyatta: How are you today, Beautiful Girl??? On Mother’s Day I went to a family reunion. While the grownups were talking, I watched YOUR races on YouTube! I forgot how totally AMAZING your races were!!! What I wouldn’t have given to see one of them LIVE! Also, CONGRADULATIONS on your honorary membership! People cannot resist THE BIG Z. No one can! You are too sweet and beautifful and magnifiecent. I love you, girl!!!!!
Hugs, kisses, and carrots~
Love Anna. <3 <3 <3 :D :D

@MM from Georgia
You are TOO MUCH! But I like it.

@ Anna W. Please accept my apology to at least one of the inhabitants of the Merry Merry Land of Munchkinland. Should have passed the buck to those eternally annoying flying monkeys! MUNCHKINS ARE TOO CUTE!!!!!

Dear *Sharon Call, Astrid, Barbara Wood, and Vicki B: Thank you, all. ‘M`s’ balance compensated for my imbalance when we hit the hornet`s nest, something that he did on another run earlier. It dawned on me then how much he had to have kept my welfare in mind (*like Sharon`s Jess w/ the children; in those crises, he taught so much. It does seem there is a balance here others carry for us, for Zenyatta`s sake, which loving gestures come at ‘great personal expense,’ and seem part of a design, too; maybe fragile, but tensile strong. Once it dawns on you that someone is looking for the best in you, it can soften your outlook.

You are the FIRST horse — so VERY COOL!!!!! What a great honor — you all are such an inspiration!!!!! Love and blessings!!!!!

Dear Dottie,
Even though Val from OZ doesn’t seem to like Too CUTE, do remember that is not everyone’s sentiment. Your using the words Too CUTE has been some of the sweetest things about your writing. I know once one writes publicly there is the wide range of various feedback, and that I find a challenge, finding people who get triggered by various comments.
So to Dear Z and Dottie, I say STAY TRUE TO YOUR VOICE AND YOUR HEART! It is so precious just the way it is! Love and hugs to you.
Denise
Too cute ! I LOVE IT…
Kathryn Cogswell
To ‘S in san diego’** ~ your note to ‘heartbroken,’ echoed by ‘Misty,’ and Sharon Call,’ is well true; it can be wrenching for a foal, lovingly tended one day by a doting mother, to find itself ignored by her, or run off the next. Being moved on to join the weanling games soon comforts all, and the moms go on to greener pastures. **Thanks, too, for the note earlier, which was missed.

Val from Oz: Catching up, and couldn’t help but giggle at your post. Too cute and Too cute, for sure..sounds exactly like our Queen Zenyatta. She has many ways about her, when she races, when she dances, when she plays (too cute), when she stares out…As you know, Dottie is fluent in Horse, too cute; but she is…

My Sweet Lady Zenyatta, Congratulations to YOU, Ann, Dottie & Dawn!!!! That is wonderful for all of you to be made Honorary Members! Now That IS TOO CUTE! To be the 1st horse to ever do be in he PBWC is more than amazing. I mean it is more than GREAT! It’s just TOO CUTE to even say! Zenyatta, I believe that you will eventually be a college course! I’m serious! Zenyatta, your Fans have already learned so much from you in racing but you have a special gift of teaching by your actions. First I have to say this. (I firmly believe with all my heart, The Mosses are the main reason you are here today. Any other owner would not have taken such great care of you or let you retire safe & sound.)You’ve had the best training for your career, you applied that training to the BEST of your abilities, you succeeded at your career, retired HEALTHY to enjoy retirement and through all of that you have shown work ethics, disciplines, logic, problem solving, competitive edge, graciousness, thankfulness & paying it forward to help others. Now that’s a course that everybody should be required to take. Humans could learn so much from animals if they just took the time to do so. Zenyatta, you are the perfect example of training applications for life experiences! Sendiing Hugs & Kisses From Alabama With Love, AmandaG

Val of Oz: I posted before I read all the comments. I always go backward and I can see what the buzz is about. Well let me shine a light on you. I’ve been reading Zenyatta’s Posts a long time. I don’t remember seeing your name before. I want to enlight you on something you must not know! Zenyatta’s Fan Family loves Zenyatta, The Mosses, The Sherriff’s & The Whole Z Family that works with Zenyatta from Barn 55 to Land’s End.
Dottie is loved by all here and she takes time out of her busy schedule to write to us about Zenyatta. Dottie gives our Queen Zenny her voice. Whatever Dottie wants to say, how she wants to say it or when she wants to say it is PERFECT! I Thank God for Dottie keeping this Post going so we can hear from Zenyatta! I love this horse and everything she stands for to so many and for what she has gven to me in my life.
VAL, NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO COME ON THIS SITE AND BE RUDE TO DOTTIE, ZENYATTA, Z’S FAMILY OR HER FAN FAMILY. I don’t appreciate it! Shame on you!
Zenyatta says “TOO CUTE” all the time in everything she does. Apparently, you have never really seen Zenyatta dance, race, meet people, win awards or do anything. Well, Zenyatta is JUST TOO CUTE FOR WORDS in everthing she does & thinks.
VAL, if you took the time to get to know Zenyatta, you might hear her say “TOO CUTE” too. As for kittens & dogs, I know you don’t know what they are saying because my 2 Rotties, Sugar & Gracie say “Too Cute” all the time!
VAL, PLEASE DON’T POST ANY MORE RUDE COMMENTS ABOUT MY SWEET LADY ZENYATTA!
Elizabeth Holden
Z, you are a wonderful inspiration to women. I teach international students and told them how you were the first girl to win the Classic. Then we watched the race. Everybody thought you were awesome! I told the girls that they could be winners too, just like you, and not to be afraid to do something no woman had done before. Thanks for being great!
Lynn ..... (nearby Hwd Park) California
Elizabeth Becker… how sweet to post! You’re awesome..!
Zenny, I love this site. And, I love you. Thanks for sharing the Award here. Too cute.

Zenyatta, congratulations for your being mentioned at the Professional Businesswomens’ Convention at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Dottie, Ann, and Dawn are very proud of you for all of your accomplishments. Wow, girl, you’re really going places! You are definitely the first horse they have ever made an honorary member! Those 6000 people at the convention were definitely treated to a good time and definitely to a great and wonderful horse!
