Good Morning,
Yesterday was such an amazing day! Ann, Dawn and Dottie all flew to San Francisco to attend the Professional Business Women of California Conference. It was held at the Moscone Center and attended by approximately 6000 people.
As Dottie has mentioned in the Diary before, I was the KICK-OFF for the INSPIRE portion of the program. Carolyn Johnson from ABC News San Francisco introduced Ann, Dawn, Dottie and ME! She stated several of my accomplishments and achievements. Then they played a 3 1/2 minute video showing my races, my dancing, my TEAM and my fans. It was beautifully edited and done! At this point, Dottie was reintroduced by the Chairman of the Organization, Ann, and she discussed how MY TEAM hopes I can be a true INSPIRATION to people in their lives and their careers!
As a surprise, the PBWC gave Ann, Dawn, and Dottie the plaque we are showing you in the photo…making ALL OF US Honorary Members. What an HONOR! They have so many distinguished and accomplished WOMEN in this group…but I believe I am the FIRST HORSE! This is absolutely a complete honor and TOO CUTE!
I want to THANK everyone who helped to make this happen. In particular, I’d like to thank LINDA who worked with Dottie on this project for months to be sure it all went very well.
It was a very exciting day!
With Love,
Hugs to All~(Especially LINDA…thank you again!)

Debbie
Congrats Zenny! Your team is going to have to build a museum to display all of the amazing awards, paintings, and statues they will have collected for you throughout your lifetime. Wouldn’t that be an amazing place to go visit!
Val from OZ
Dottie : Please, please, please, stop making Zenyatta say that everything is CUTE, or TOO CUTE. It really doesn’t go with a magnificent creature like her, but should be reserved for kittens and puppies.
Otherwise congratulations for all of the inspirational work that is being done in her name for others.

Oh Z … you so deserve it and so does your team!!!

Val from OZ,
Sorry, but is that the Great OZ where you seeking a brain? Please do the rest of us a favor and refrain from opining when you are truly ignorant about a subject which the Professional Business Women and Handlers, and mothers of our Great Zenyatta know everything about and you know absolutely nothing!
Jennifer
Val from OZ,
please, please, please SHUT UP to put it gently! Do not think so much of yourself to even think to coach Dottie and Ann about their horse and their website. Zenyatta is TOO CUTE, so are they and obviously you are not because you are so offended…you are TOO RUDE!
Judy
Val From OZ, please go back to OZ immediately. I can’t believe you’d be so rude to the one who actually writes this on behalf of Zenyatta. How about an apology and maybe a Thank You for sharing this wonderful horse? Quit complaining.
Sally (B)
My sweet Z! I love your words “too cute”, that is what I think you would say, because your sweet & innocent. Yes, you are a queen and you are the greatest racing mare of all time, but I am glad that you keep your child-like spirit; it will keep you young. You know how much I love you and how proud I am of you, and hurray for Ann, Dottie & Dawn too!!
Love with a kiss on your soft nose
Sally (B)
@Jane in Seattle; Many thanks for the link for M. Baze’s memorial. He sure did look happy doing what he loved.

Val
You are a magnificent idiot. How do you know what kittens and puppies are thinking and would be translated by their respective owners? Leave well enough alone they obviously do not need your advice, they haven’t as yet asked for anybody’s and for good reason! If you do not want to enjoy the dialogue and wish to re-create it in your way, then don’t comment or engage in this Diary.
Sally (B)
My Miss personality Z; Have you or has any one heard how Uncle Mo’s health is and have all horses that ran in the Derby okay? love n kisses on your soft nose
Maria
I am sorry, but right on Judy! That was just ‘out of bounds!’ I logged on to express sorrow about M.Baze and also cheer on TOO CUTE Z, but that took me back. Please Val, save your begging for micro-managing your immediate issues that you may have more control over. No offense, but that is more than rude, it is simply ungrateful.

An the hits just keep on coming. Another award how wonderful for you and team Z
Hugs

Dear Z, Ann, Dottie and Dawn, What an accomplishment! You all so deserve it and are wonderful examples of what women can achieve! I would imagine that a large # of those 6,000 women are now Zenyatta fans after watching the video. I am proud to be a California businesswoman and RN at 63. All of you ladies inspire me to keep going!
What a tragedy to lose young Michael Baze. My heart goes out to his family. I remember watching his father ride in Oregon years ago. He had such talent as all of the Baze jockeys do. RIP

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Baze family. What a terrible loss for them.
HEY, ZENNY- HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT DAY! “HI” TO PQ AND YOUR OTHER BFF’S!
Vicki B.
@Val from OZ – it’s just always been the writer’s style in giving Zenyatta a voice. “Too cute” made me pause to think, the first time I saw it, but it’s become part of Z’s online personality, and I like it now. You have to realize that Zenny’s magnificence is not lessened or impaired one bit, by also being Too Cute! It just adds to how we feel about her.
tony and sue
Zenny, Ann and Dottie…how we would love to see that video from last evening. How awesome that you were honored (Dawn, too) because each of you added to the inspiration which encompasses the GREAT Zenyatta.

Queen Zenyatta is the great Zenyatta because she showed incredible power as an exceptional athlete on the track where traditionally males ruled. At the same time, she embodies a sweet and gentle disposition so that she can carry off being as cute as she is powerful. The various, somewhat contradictory facets of her personality draw a wide variety of admirers who can instinctively see and accept her allure even if it is sometimes difficult to capture with mere words. She is truly great.
