Good Morning,
Yesterday was such an amazing day! Ann, Dawn and Dottie all flew to San Francisco to attend the Professional Business Women of California Conference. It was held at the Moscone Center and attended by approximately 6000 people.
As Dottie has mentioned in the Diary before, I was the KICK-OFF for the INSPIRE portion of the program. Carolyn Johnson from ABC News San Francisco introduced Ann, Dawn, Dottie and ME! She stated several of my accomplishments and achievements. Then they played a 3 1/2 minute video showing my races, my dancing, my TEAM and my fans. It was beautifully edited and done! At this point, Dottie was reintroduced by the Chairman of the Organization, Ann, and she discussed how MY TEAM hopes I can be a true INSPIRATION to people in their lives and their careers!
As a surprise, the PBWC gave Ann, Dawn, and Dottie the plaque we are showing you in the photo…making ALL OF US Honorary Members. What an HONOR! They have so many distinguished and accomplished WOMEN in this group…but I believe I am the FIRST HORSE! This is absolutely a complete honor and TOO CUTE!
I want to THANK everyone who helped to make this happen. In particular, I’d like to thank LINDA who worked with Dottie on this project for months to be sure it all went very well.
It was a very exciting day!
With Love,
Hugs to All~(Especially LINDA…thank you again!)

YAY LADIES!!!!!!!! What an accomplishment!!!!!
Oh and Z… I had a visit yesterday with Berni!!!!! You are soooooo right…The way he chews on that lead rope IS a VERY attractive quality! He is ONE HANDSOME BOY!!!!!
Then I had a cuddle with Blame. I think that you would really like him. He is so gentle and kind. Many people were so mad at him because of what happened, but I know that you would be his friend. That’s just the way you are. A big bundle of LOVE! And a great sport who appreciates your fellow running mates. oxox!!!!

Zenyatta, what next? You are such a fabulous role model. How about National Mascot as you ARE this nation’s horse. There is one Youtube in which you hear a mother say “There she is… the best race horse that you will ever see.” and you are. Oodles of love from the Lone Star State.

The GREAT Zenyatta. That pretty much sums it up…and for her team, too! Greatness rules in this magnificient creature on four hoofs. Blessing to her and all of those who nurtured her and allowed her to expose her full potential.

So sorry to hear about Michael Baze!!!Does anyone know what on earth happened to him?? Thank goodness he was able to experience his Derby ride last weekend and to have had the exhilaration of finishing so well. It must have been a thrilling moment for him!! Just so sad to have it all end so soon!! Prayers for him and all who cared for him!
Maryyette
Dottie, thank you so much for taking the time to write so encouragingly and consistently. Thank you for letting us share in Zenyatta’s life and letting us share our love for her. You know, many of us are at heart, the little girls who read and loved Black Beauty and Misty of Chincoteague, wanted to be National Velvet, and dreamed of wonderful horses.
Thank all of you and Zenyatta – for in a way – making all of our dreams come true -As always, much love, sweet Zenny – lots of kisses and good thoughts and prayers for you and those you love.
