HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
I want to take this opportunity to wish ALL OF YOU a wonderful, healthy, and happy MOTHER’S DAY!
I am such a fortunate horse! I have so many people who love ME and care deeply for ME. May I extend all of this LOVE and MY personal special wishes to YOU on this day! I’m not a Mother yet…but am hoping to be one by next year at this time. Hooves Crossed!
With Love,
Hugs to ALL~

Happy Mother’s Day to Zenyatta’s Mom, and thank you for the Mother’s Day greetings to us Moms today. Hugs and Prayers

There is no sure fire way to prevent pulmonary
Hemmorhage. There must be some research on it’s
Use and prevention. Australian HOY bled without it
And there are US horses who bleed with it. Just depends
How sensitive their body’s are to increased pulmonary
Pressure when they race. Dehydration is dose related
And I doubt that enough to dehydrate is given as horses
Would not be able to race dehydrated. Don’t think giving
It 5 to 6 or even 8 times a year constitutes long term.

Pure Love. I could look at that photo for hours. Z & extended Z family helped raise lots o $ for Trott at the Derby party yesterday. I gave an update on Post 241, it’s more than 3/4 of way down. Lots of fun and met some great people. Few pix on Trotts fb and i’m guessing they will post more.

Awwww…. That is the sweetest picture ever! I wish every throroughbred racehorse had such a loving mom and such a loving and thoughtful team. The racing world and the many horses in it would be much better for it! Thank you Mrs. Moss and all of Team Z!

Hi Z, this picture of you and Anne, is totally beautiful…you two are swept away in a sea of love, a moment in time. Love is the greatest gift…it is captured here. You have a wonderful human mother, Zenny.I am blessed that I got to spend the day with mine.
It was beautiful here in Ohio today, all trees blooming, and flowers, the scent of lilacs, in the air. Tulips blooming, the grass is bright green, newborn baby sheep running in the fields. I live near Amish Country and saw many beautiful horses, pulling buggies and in the fields today…made me think of you eating your Kentucky blue grass. Enjoy your beautiful weather, spring has spung Zenny !!oxoxoxoxox

Moms. Mine took me to my first horse race at Santa Anita in the days of Swaps and Nashua, and my first Arabian horse show. She helped me catch my first trout. She was my first passenger when I got my helicopter pilot’s license. I lost her in 1977 but will never be without her in my heart. Moms. Without Dottie, there wouldn’t have been a David who eyeballed a scraggly filly that nobody else wanted. Moms. Some wonderful woman clearly knew how to raise a kind and gentle spirit who served his country, then became a horse whisperer whether he wants to admit it or not. Moms. Another wonderful woman raised a classy little girl who won the heart of a great guy who made lots of moms – and dads and kids – happy with music, and the two of them made even more moms – and dads and kids – ecstatic by sharing the greatest horse of the past several decades with zillions of Z fans. Moms. Love to all of you that are – and to one special horse who will be. Happy Mother’s Day everyone. Diana in Tempe

ZENNY IS SO NATURALLY AFFECTIONATE.I RECALL A SIMILAR PIX OF HER AND MARIO LEANING HER SWEET FACE. YES,SHE IS A HORSE BUT WAS RAISED BY HUMANS AND SEEMS TO REALLY RESPOND AND MAYBE MISS HER HUMAN FAMILY. I can barely view this precious photo without wondering what “Z” IS REALLY WANTING. ANN MOSS SEEMS TO REALIZE THIS. TEARS HAVE NOT STOPPED STREAMING DOWN MY FACE. ZENYATTA IS NO ORDINARY HORSE, IS SHE?

This photo is so touching. It is amazing to me that sometimes, different species can sometimes connect on a level deeper, than those of the same species. It is magic.
Zazu has such a feminine & pretty face. I can almost visualize her in one of those “royal wedding” hats – the simple ones with a flower & some tulle, on the side of her head……tee hee.
@Susan in TN – thank you. It meant a lot to me.

There is a randomized controlled study being done
In South Africa on Lasix. It is very controversial. American
TB taking organizations and US jockeys have given money
For this study. It will take place this Nov. We will have
Answers and hopefully it won’t be required.

Good Morning Zenyatta Hello from Homeroom 215. It is sunny here in East Liverpool and looks to be a beautiful day :) The children want to send their LOVE :0 I asked the class what they thought of the Derby. Some forgot to watch but the ones that did talked about some of the stories, said it was Awesome, Animal Kingdom Rocked. A couple of my children said they cheered for Stay Thirsty and they did not understand why he did not win. All of them think Queen Z would have won the Derby. They want to make cards for Uncle Mo. They want to do another project for You big girl. If they had it their way you would get things daily from them. You should see what they bring into the the room. One of the amazing things the children talked about was how their parents watched the Derby with them. How cool is that :) Well back to work. We love you and send Hugs and Kisses to the WINNER OF OUR HEARTS. Shari and Homeroom 215 XXXOOO

Thanks for the update on Archarcharch. Anyone know anything about Battle of Hastings?
A thought just occurred to me about Saturday’s record crowd, even in this depressed economy. Do you suppose that it could in part be due to the huge crowds our Zenny brought to the Breeders’ Cup last fall? People may have decided it was such a great experience that word got around.
Love you, Z. Talk to you later.

We so wish you could be back in California with you true FAMILY.

What a great picture! Ann must really miss seeing you more often. I think you two have a special bond. I had a wonderful weekend full of horses and dogs. I watched the races at Churchill on Friday but missed seeing the Oaks due to a prior commitment. Then on Saturday I took a young dog that I bred to a dog show and when I got home I took a nap and missed the Derby!!! But I did get to see replays of both races and Zazu looked fantastic! It was just Plum Pretty’s day I guess. Animal Kingdom ran and awesome race and definitely deserved to win. I was very sad for the AR team but hopefully Archarcharch will make a full recovery. Take good care of yourself and hooves are definitely crossed in your honor.
